First time listening to this band. I kind of like them. I heard of them from Prog Magazine. This song kind of gave me its moments. What's the best of them?
From Neal you have Spock's beard, Trewavas have marillion
Portnoy with dreamtheater, osi and a few more. Roine has Flower Kings, Agents of Mercy, Kaipa, Karmakanic and tangent.
Finally you have Daniel who obviously is close connected to Pain of salvation. And out of that you have a lot of more bands and supergroups. It is a really good time to be alive, in my opinion :)
Really, I think is really cool what all these new prog rockers are doing. Collaborating with each other's works, creating several side projects, participating in Prog Mega Festivals. I don't think the old proggies did that often. Yeah, you're right, it is good to be alive and like Prog music these days. It's cool now.
This is the best of them!!! This right here! and all the others (the first two albums i mean.) this is their sound, their style. If u Kind of like them then u will kind of like everything they did.
Is there any song where Daniel Gildenlöw actually has a role in the band and doesn't just stand in the background? :P I'm a lil disappointed since I heard he was gonna be in this band.
@MikeoWar. No, he is not in the band. Didn't write any music neither. Only backup guitar/keyboard and singing during a couple of gigs. Obvioulsy he is doing a great job too, but he is not in the band.
@CzechGuardian Since I heard that part for the first time I realized it's one of the best things I've heard in a lot of time.
That melody, atmosphere, perfectly suiting voice... It sounds so tremendously good I'm quite dissapointed it lasts just for a couple of minutes. They should have used that a lot more.
Great! Very old school prog :) I love Dream Theater and their more modern prog, but this is really great too. Could use a bit better singing from Morse (not that it is bad (okay, his falsetto is pretty bad)), but beside that, it is just great. And great vocal harmonies too. Just great.
well speak of the devil, they are doing a reunion! album is in the works for a possible late 2009 release, and i'd assume they'll tour a bit afterwards!
This tune gives me goosebumps!!!

is it just me, or am I seeing a bunch of fuck-ups in this performance??

Its just you!
It's live, and its just a side-project not a full-time band. So, I reckon its pretty damn tight.
Either way, this song is amazing.

That's what I call to catch a mistake.. MP started a quarter beat to early at 4:13 but he realised it immediately.

2:40 - I think here begins the best part of the song (lyrics included). The bass boost and Roine's voice goes pretty well hand in hand. Brilliant!!

Actualy, when i saw Neal playing keyboards on this DVD, i wanted to start playing keyboards too, he is great and very charismatic.
