  • Lawyers suck, hope you all contract aids

  • i wish this was show lol

  • You get to learn about Hitler

  • I'm currently a junior at a UC who will graduate next year with honors; and with $0 in student loans! I'll be taking the LSAT next October and, as most students do, I'll apply for all T14 schools as well as UCLA and USC.

Any current/prospective law students willing to give me any advice? :)

  • @SagaciousSilence Don't go to law school. Best Advice ever.

  • No matter your intentions about staying out of the drama, it will come to your door. I thankfully don't have any rumors flying about me (or at least ones I know about) but it is really hard to not have strong feelings about your classmates when you spend an average of 20 hrs a week together in class along with all the time you spend on campus in between classes. It's also true that law students are some of the most dysfunctional people....but to me that is what is making my experience great.

  • hahaha

  • Going to law school in the fall, going to gun the fuck out of my classes. Cut throat baby!

  • We can never find justice at the hands of corrupt judges. (See YouTube videos) Judge to Judge on Illegal Payments to Judges / Evil Triangle of Court Corruption / Richard Fine / Dr Shirley Moore /SBX 211. The fight to end this title wave of corruption in our country must start with the corrupt judges. We can not bring evidence of corruption to corrupt judges. Los Angeles Superior Court judges are illegally and unconstitutionally taking 50,000.00 each for a total of 23 million per year.

  • this is so inaccurate. pathetic rumor starting video.

  • @finooch u must go to the holy grail law school.. cause mine is full of drama. lol

  • There was a lot more gossip in class when I went to law school then when I was going for my undergrads. I guess because of the smaller class sizes. I remember being talked about some because the first week in one of my classes I admitted in class that making big bucks as a corporate attorney was my No. 1 goal. People were like "oh my God!" but I didn't give a fuck, I've always worshiped the dollar first and school was long and grueling but is it worth it!!

  • "the people at my law school aren't the most attractive people in the world" bwahahahahaha i died

  • Comment removed

  • i thought that micheal giardono f--ker was the guy from american pie

  • Comment removed

  • this is astonishingly accurate.

  • noone like this in my LS

  • I don't find any of what they said to be accurate.

  • Bunch of fuckheads, I graduated top 5% of my class and of course am Republican all the way. I stayed focused and became a lawyer to make big bucks, I never partied but now I work on Wall Street so I got what I wanted; huge bonuses in corporate law!

  • @blackdragon767 lol ok "black dragonn"

  • @blackdragon767 yeah but now u have to pay the hookers around the street for ur kitty kat

  • Oh...No...If you were only being sarcastic.

  • Yes, lot's of law students are arrogant obnoxious dickheads.

  • sick dicks

  • The chinese guy looked like the chinese guy in the movie "Harold and Kumar" lolz

  • I'm considering going to pepperdine in the fall and was sorta worried about it being excessively conservative. I am no longer concerned.

  • hahahhaha yo im AM NOT going to fit in wid all these preppies but i dont give a FUCK if they let me in to one of these schools its OVER hahhaha let me get THAT CHECK BABY let me get them car notes on a 750Li baaabbbyyyyy I NEED IT I WANT IT IMA GET IT no one can stop me

  • I'm done lawschool in 1 month. If I could do it over again, I would spend far less time with my classmates outside of class. Get out of class, study on your own, and spend time with non-law people. Law students are dysfunctional. The fact that classmates compete with one another for grades further exacerbates the situation. Keep your sanity, keep it real, and remember: Don't ever say anything negative about another person, and don't ever listen to anything negative about another person.

  • @TheDentist27 Thanks! I wanna be a lawyer when i grow up, u'r comment really agrees with how I am now!

  • The study group turned into an orgy. ha! Good rumor. "He got into her personal jurisdiction, as the other guy was serving her papers." ooooh! Do tell. ;)

  • exactly!!!

  • I am still mad about my student loan debt from law school.

  • @Punkazzparents i hear u

  • same all we do in our classes is talk sex and orgies!

  • not so good

  • So true!!!

  • So true!! We do have lockers lol

  • this is so true, im glad its not just my school

  • This is so true . i guess its because the demamnds of thecourse are soo much that they have to find excitement from somewhere.

  • Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

So do you avoid the douchebags or befriend them?

  • They're ALL douchebags. There's a secret society of about 5% of the class who are actually cool. But everyone is so afraid of getting pilloried, it takes a long time to find them.

  • Why is this such a shock to everyone? That someone can actually speak behind your back and its college? College is no real different from High School, just more homework and closer testing dates.

I've been attending college for three years. I've had numerous people speak behind my back, I don't care the least bit, I'm there for the education.

  • if you don't know the difference between law school and college, perhaps you shouldn't be posting...

  • so true..

  • I think this video just propagates the high school stereotype. I mean, realistically, you are talking about people talking about other people.

  • OMG, THIS IS SOOOO TRUE! I wish that I would have seen this video before I started law school! I kept remarking to people that I knew that my law school was like JUNIOR high! Everyone was so cliquish, talking about people behind their backs, getting into people's business, making fun of other people, etc. I think IT IS because most of the students were always the nerds throughout their schooling N now they are all trying 2 B cool! Freakin' pathetic N immature all this posing if U ask me!

  • That's probably true.

  • Yes, definitely junior high not high school. "High school" is too kind for these people.

But I disagree about the nerd comment. I think the problem has more to do with the silver spoons they were born with. Nerds, generally, don't act this way. (I was an undergrad at CMU--nerds remain nerds, even when surrounded by other nerds.)

The problem with law school is that it attracts people with the worst, deadened personalities. No intellect or curiosity, only interested in money.

  • @greg5566 and this is correct because? sounds more like shit than anything else =)

  • Your question is too vague to respond to. What do you mean by "this"? Why do people in law school have no intellect or curiosity? Or why does law school attract such people? Or the silver spoons? If you can be specific I will be happy to answer.

  • @trisix99 Oh, hey, I just saw the other chapter from the DVD about Gunners. Watch that 4 minutes: it explains everything I said here.

Several of them say, for instance, that they came to school to hear what the professor says, not to engage the class intellectually. How does one even describe such a lack of intellect? Saying you want to hear what the professor has to say is such a DEEP misunderstanding of law school and the law it is shocking.

  • @greg556 It may be so that many people who apply to law school are not genuinely interested in engaging law in an intellectual manner. But you ask why "people in law school have no intellect or curiosity." Were you to present this question as a statement you would be making a broad and absolute claim.

It seems that you are bitter about law school more than making a factual statement.

  • Oh, you misunderstood my second message. You said "this is correct because?" and I was asking you to clarify your question--are you asking me why they have no intellectual curiosity, etc. Get it? Those questions were not rhetorical--I was asking which of them you want me to answer.

In my message above that, I didn't say they all are, I said law school _attracts_ those people. I also said that a small portion of them are not like that.

  • Those two things: being bitter and making a factual statement, are not mutually exclusive. Both are true. I am certainly making a factual statement, about my law school at least. And yes I am bitter about that fact. I was expecting an intellectually stimulating, challenging environment. Law school is the least challenged I have ever been in my life. And yes, I am bitter about that. Bitter and disappointed.

  • I really enjoyed my law studies....its the best that happened to me :-)

  • Yep. Pretty much sums up my law school. so many delightful characters, determined to stir up drama and spread vicious, unconfirmed rumors. The disgusting, promiscuous sex, the catty women, the three desirable people that everyone competes over...yeah, it's alll here. And I honestly cannot take it much longer. I am not cut out for the drama!

  • hahaha. Oh law school. It's really not that bad. Yes, it's high schoolesque, but you'll actually find that a lot of people are actually worth a crap, unlike your classmates in high school. Pretty much everyone I've talked to said that law school is high school. My experience is similar. But it's not so bad, honestly. My high school career sucked, but law school, even as a 1L, is so far not bad. Just a crap load of work. In fact, I should be studying right now. Finals are in 2 weeks.

  • If you go to a serious law school, there is almost no kids (average age is like 27). So it's okay. In lower school it must be different I guess.

  • i go to a "serious" law school and it happens here too.

  • You must have gone to a serious night school. Most students at top schools (I went to one and work with people from many others) spent no more than two years working before going to law school. And there are lots of folks straight from undergrad. Don't judge full time study by a night school standard.

  • I'm not going to univ yet. I'm just repeating what I was told. There is a great university in Montreal where people learn two kind of law at the same time and I was told that there is so much work that you have no time for other stuff. Actually no one talks to no one and they are all in competion. They don't trust each others. Anyway, a student told me that in september. Maybe once they get to know each others things change idk.

  • Well, I feel, you need to think why are you going to law school. If your motivation is the willigness to have a good job and not to be a high school history teacher (that was in fact my motivation ;)) then you have a chance of having a hard time. However, if you are genuinely interested in the field, then you will be ok.

  • i'm finishing up my undergrad next month and going to law school in the fall, and if this clip is the truth then i'm pissed, because i DO NOT want to go through high school all over again, lol. the past 4 years of college have been amazing and if law school is really gonna be like this i just might drop out!

  • @snipet19 seeing as you posted this comment a year ago, i was curious to know how you're doing now?

  • @snipet19 it is the truth.. lolol i dont know if we regress.. or if its cause law school is small community.. but its crazy.. and the people who do the most talking are usually doing the most dramatic things lol.

  • @snipet19 This video is a very realistic portrayal of law school. I attended one of the schools discussed in the video and withdrew 2 months into my second semester. I went to law school with a vague ambition of "helping people" but the people I encountered there were downright awful. While they did not make or break my decision to leave school, they certainly did not help the situation. TAKE A FEW YEARS... law school will still be there, and you will be older and wiser and above the BS.

  • @snipet19 This is so true.

  • @snipet19 hahahaa believe it, it's TRUE! but no, don't drop out, it's actually pretty hilarious

  • I am finishing law school in three months. These couple of years were just plain awful. I wouldn't recommend that to anyone.

  • If your going to law school because someone told you "your argue a lot, you should be a lawyer", then you probably will not be happy being a lawyer. A lot of lawyers do paper work and do not actually "cross examine", only the very good do this. So if you thought that you could get a great job with lots of glory by just being a pain in the ass, think again. If your serious about law and need help though, then check out profbamberger's videos: hes a great proffesor that really knows his stuff

  • As a law school survivor I would recommend being in a serious relationship while in school, and make sure you live with them.

Whoever gave you the advice to flee school after classes are over is correct, which is easier if you have someone to eat dinner with every night.

Third read the newspaper every morning so you can change the topic whenever gossip ensues.

Finally, enjoy law school because for all its downsides it really is a great challenging experience.

  • And miss all the unprotected promiscuous sex I could have with multiple partners?

    No way!

  • I went to law school in the UK and it was nothing like this

  • i'm in law school and this is so fucking true. So i go to class and leave immediately. Full of faggot cliques, full of douchebags. Literally the majority of law school students are the fucking losers from high school. This is so true.

  • Very very true. Leave immediately after class. Law School is full of super queers.

  • lol this is soo surprising!!!! i thoguht ppl were mature, especially since they got their B.A. degrees......this is good advice cuz i wanna go to law school....thx for the help!!!!!

  • someone rip the movie so we don't get jiped by its price

  • This is completely 100% true. I see this crap every freaking day.

  • lol that actually makes it seem fun. not because of the rumors obv but because people aren't all independent and caught up in their own lives and do feel a sense of community

  • I don't care what my classmates think of me. As long as they are willing to work with me in the future, they can think whatever they want about me.

  • THIS IS SO TRUE!!!

  • LOOL im going to Law School just cuz of this video..

  • I am wondering how this video is supposed to benefit anyone. Yes, people revert to an infantile state of cliquish arrogance. But sex rumors? A real law student has no time, no energy for sex, doesn't care about sex. A law student should be happy if he/she can retain some semblance of self-esteem after 1st semester.

  • Comment removed

  • why low self esteem lot of hazing?

  • ha ha, yes, but that's the point--law school is so easy there are no "real law students." It just doesn't matter how much you study.

  • What a useless fake video. Guy from Harvard is doing the interview at UCLA.

  • Haha. Robert Kim looked totally stoned.

  • We have lockers and cliques in my law school, but so far, no sex rumors...

  • first off, their being articulate is not at issue. 2nd everything they say is true, BUT the difference is that highschool has lame mitigating factors such as sports that contribute to the social hierarchy. In law school its not like some chick is like OOOH MAN HE IS SO HOT he answers questions or doesnt yknow.... so its like a cooler version of H.S

  • A JD is not worthless. Those who possess a JD like me do not conjure up morbid fantasies of decrepit bodies rising from their graves to revolutionize the law school status quo. We have clients to deal with, and I should probably be doing that instead of posting comments here.

  • This is stupid. This is why a JD is f+cking worthless. These people are inarticulate, "UH" and "LIKE". It's as if they are mildly retarded.

No wonder the Constitution of 'these here' United States is being shredded to shit! God Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Paine, and Franklin must be rolling over in their graves.

With any luck they'll rise up with a zombie revolutionary army and obliterate these Ally McBeal watching retards.

  • I agree. I doubt any of these people went to law school with the intention of upholding the Constitution.

  • my friends at law school secretly hide tips, notes, and other school stuffs from me. I just found out 2 days ago.

  • The guy who's listed as Harvard Law school... in the scene, the background is at UCLA (Royce Hall)! ???? I'm confused

  • well law school is like high school. for real i'm a law student going for private investigations. but yea i'm on the student counsel and trust me it's like high school lol

  • These people are a disgrace to Law/Law Education. Dumbshits....

  • lol.. this seems so superficial and scripted.."5 or 6 people sort of had an orgy the first month of school..."

    idiotic

.this is just to appeal to the scared undergrad applicants that are currently considering law school and want an "insider's view" - these ridiculous views - because the are so outside the norm would then have to qualify as the "reality" of law school since they are being told my current students - - stupid.

    poorly made and superficial.

  • What law schools did you guys go to? I went to law school to get a JD and a good job. I ignored the rest of you chuckleheads while you were flirting and trying to f*ck eachother and getting bad grades.

  • Sounds like you made a lot of friends during your time there.

  • I made plenty of friends, and none of us even tried to have sex with one another! Crazy, isn't it?

  • Well I hope you at least picked up someone during your time studying. That's a long time to not pick up.

  • lol :) great comment!

  • @BSullivan nerd.

  • @TheFreePisces

That's not what your mom said. Actually, she didn't say much because her mouth was full.

  • @BSullivan HAHAHAHAHA

    Says the "lawyer"

My ass, you fucking lying twat. What good is it talking shit on youtube you virgin fuck? I bet you were too hideous for the ugly kids in law school. That's a whole new level of nasty.

You're the classic combination (DCH) dork, cunt, hypocrite.

  • @TheFreePisces

My 1L practice skills class taught me that using incendiary language is not an effective advocacy tool. I'm giving you you a check minus.

  • @BSullivan what a tool ... haha ... so did you get a "good job"? hahaha

  • haha

  • fags

  • Ah as a first year...It feels like law school. The stuck up snob girls, the all night drinking jocks, and the usual mix of inbetweens. Being an outspoken, pathfinding, don't give a rats hind end type doesn't mix well for many of them...Just the same way like in High School, get with the cute nerd girls, get the A(s), and don't let any haters bring me down. You don't like me, then pound sand. I'm in the U.S. and in the south, I'm also a true southenner surrounded by yankees, God save the south.

  • Tulane?

  • it might be all fun in america, but law school in London SUCKS. Orgies?!!! The only fun thing I've heard of was shopping in Oxford Street or a basement party.

  • im in law school. This is TRUE! 100%

  • I agree,very informative. I want IN!

  • I found law school to be very much like secondary school. A lot of trying, childish behaviour, fashion parades, gossiping and one-upmanship. If you liked high school, you'll love law school. I hated high school, and loved the intellectual shaping a European tertiary education gave me. I hung out with artists, philosophers, political refugees. Imagine what a US law school was like after that. I LOVED the law. But I wish I was homeschooled sometimes.

  • wow this was the best and most true video ever LOL! and the guy michael from harvard is really hot, but that's beside the point

  • this looks boring........

  • is there any gay boys or men in law school why does it have to be girls and guys. gay people are lawyers too. helloooooo

  • Your line of questioning makes no sense. Your questions seems to imply that homosexuality is a gender. Aren't gay people, as well as traight ones, either guys or girls?

  • I'm sure their are. Just none available for this little DVD they put together, Probably busy studying!...:).

  • or sucking d@#$

  • or sucking d@#*

  • Isn't it funny how these law students all talking about how other law students do these ridiculously childish things. But they're actually talking about each other. Meaning each of them engages in this sort of thing :P

  • Has anyone purchased this film?

  • Law school is just like elementary school. The only advantage is that EVERYONE CAN DRIVE! haha. I graduate In December!

  • has anyone see this full film?

  • That is awesome. If you didn't know, now you know.

  • wow i can't wait!

  • This video is SOOO wrong, it's right!

Law school is actually like grade school.

  • This entire series of videos is fucking nonsense. Then again, I don't go to a shitty law school, so perhaps you should disregard this.

  • It features interviews from Harvard, Yale, and Stanford Law. So they are not some shitty law schools they are talking about.

  • Is it just me or does this video flash, "Get-rich quick scheme"?

  • Ab. Sol. utely.

  • Chill-out guys. I bet all of you are in lawschool...or want to be

  • This video is the truth!! Drama, Drama, Drama!!

  • I want to go to law school now!

  • I can read your faces like a book and see your wheels turning as you contemplate your next exaggeration, kids

  • dead on right

  • I really found this DVD quite helpful. I would highly recommend it for anyone seeking some sort of edge in their legal studies. Admittedly, there are no shortcuts to doing well in law school. But this DVD was full of inspiring tips as well as practical strategies on exam taking. If anything, their mistake was pricing it so low b/c it diminishes the perceived value of the DVD. Having been a business major, that is my only criticism.

  • I read One-L, Law School Confidential, Law School Insider and the like. Although those are all decent products, we've packed this DVD with the most practical strategies and test taking tips that will help you rise above the law school curve. Please visit "AllAboutLawSchool(dot)com" and browse the chapters of this DVD. Moreover, you can read our testimonials and decide for yourself whether this is a good buy. I believe there is nothing better on the market.
