One Friday night 19 years ago I came home and this was on MUCH; I was entranced. This was in the pre-youtube days and I knew that they would not have this video on rotation and I didn't have another way to see aside from luck. So I would come home every weekend night and hope it was on...but it never was! Then about 2 years later I came home late turned on the TV and it was playing! It was such an amazing feeling! I bought Whale Music and have loved it, the movie and the book ever since
This song is so wonderfully surreal. I didn't like it at first, but after a few listens, something clicked and suddenly I realized how friggin' amazing it is.
It's really sad the radio stations in Vancouver ,for one, don't play the Rheos' music. So I sneak them on when I can. Why deny people a listen to one of our best acts ever?
ive seen the rheos live at least 30x's including their last show ever at massey hall. i always remember being so captivated by tielli. By show 20 or so, it was totally normal to be having a conversation during the concert, look up and think-this is the soundtrack to my life.
this is live folks, one of the few live videos around (I remember the Waterboys had one in the 80's "You saw the whole the moon"). I used to think Dave B. couldn't play guitar until I saw this video. Funny how they're all in tuxes and Dave C. is wearing a lumberjack shirt and a tilly hat. Still the best that canadian rock music has ever produced.
Gorgeous stuff. Like everyone else I too miss these guys. Sooooooooo underrated - it took all of one show to convince a musician friend of mine that these guys were 'it'. Go Martin...
Thank you for taking the time to post these videos. I didn't know there was a video for this song. They were such an incredible live act. They are truly gifted musicians and songwriters. They should have been really big!
This really is a fantastic song, more people need to see stuff like this, thank God for youTube being able to bring this stuff into peoples living rooms.

Here they are the best rock band ever. Four guys on a surreal trip.

Maybe the most powerful Canadian song of all time. Epic in every sense of the word. This is a great example of less is more.

Most excellent! A great song from a great album... only wish I could've caught a live show (or 20) from these guys.
