Also before Jesus is put to deat he is in the garden and during his prayer he says "Father not my will, but thine will be done." Who is he calling father if he is God. Also on the Cross he says "My God, My God Why has thou forsaken me"? If he is God then who is he calling God? Nowhere in the Bible does Jesus say he is God, yet countless times he identifies that someone higher than him is God.

Christianity does not claim that there are three separate Gods. Christianity believes that God is three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) combined into one God.

John 10:30 says "I and the Father are one." The very next verse shows the Jews trying to kill him. They fully understood Jesus' claim.

I would say getting another mans wife pregant and killing her husband is getting some dates wrong. I would say taking responsibility for bringing people water when it was God who brought them water is worse than getting dates wrong also. If the GB of the FDS is guilty of false prophecy, you or anyone can't say that they haven't been repentful and forgiven. I asked several Jo Ho's I knew about the "New Light" concerning the 1914 Gen and all but one did not know the meaning had been changed. The one who did wasn't exactly sure what it was changed to.

Born in 1951 I was leading a dbl life until age 19. Dad, Elder Hitler made us read all the stuuf but it wasn't until I was 19, in 1970 that I became serious because of the 1975thing.

I was intense and than it was 1976 and nothing happened. The stuff they put out after 1975 about 1975 was a turning point. I stayed a Jo Ho until approx age 50, slowing drifting out.

They'll simply excuse the GB's mistakes as "Old Light." Most JWs also consider someone who begins questioning the GB over these doctrinal changes as an apostate. To them, it is the same as questioning god. Do so at your own peril. Sad.
