i would except that kinda audience at the 4th grade play not a concert type thing. I saw Les Mis in NYC at 8 and i was dead silent the whole time and i was 8

This audience is absolutely horrible. I've been brought up learning proper theatre etiquette, and it's such a shame that there are people out there who have no idea how to behave in such an environment. I have personally seen 1st-5th graders behave better than this audience! It's not that hard to sit down, be quite and show the performers at least a little respect. :(

That said, the two ladies did wonderful. It was a great performance, especially for singing in a second language!

I was suprised to see them singing this in English! I guess 'Jekyll & Hyde' was never translated.

Were Sara & Kiara in an actual production of the musical? I didn't think it was ever professionally performed in Brazil.

Anyways, they're fabulous. I've only ever heard them as Christine in 'Phantom of the Opera' so I was curious to hear who would sing Emma's part (Sara did) and who would sing Lucy's part (Kiara did). And I'm happy with the choice! ;-)

Yes, "Jekyll and Hyde" was never professionally performed here in Brasil...at least not yet :)

But they are both amazing right? You should have heard Sara as Anita in West Side Story, and Kiara as Ellen in Miss Saigon. Fantastic!

I totally agree with you and I don't see why you should get a negative for that comment. It's true. An impolite/unappreaciative audience is a pain in theatres and concerts.

thanks P&S...furthermore it is irrelevant whether one feels as performers they "suck" or not. It is the height of rudeness not to give performers of any level of talent at least the courtesy of listening to them. However, mr. trumpet probably is not able grasp this concept.
