Forget that comment, I was wrong. I have one here in front of me, it looks very much like the Aulos 415. As for timelines, I don't know anything of that, so I can't comment.
Ah, I thought the flute looked small; I thought you were playing at a=440 and the smallness of the flute was an illusion on video! And yes the gamba and lute playing are both very fine. I've enjoyed your videos very much. I myself have a flute d'amore (in B at a=405) I enjoy, but I have never tried a higher pitched flute. Something to look forward to! thanks for your enlightening comments.

the proportions do not conform with the photos of the aulos plastic ivory replica that I see online (comparing them in Photoshop by measurement).

But this video have been made well before Aulos made any plastic baroque flutes.

Imamura seems to be playing the continuo on a "d-minor" lute, which is very unusual.

I love this piece! It's so sad... Now that I've got a broken finger I really miss to play...
That's an Aulos Traverso tuned in a=415. It's made of plastic, but it's got a beautiful sound.

Thank you for a comment. But I am not Mr. Steinmann and I am not a musician either.
But I like music, especially baroque music a lot.
Only from the pitch I could imagine that it is a third flute(?)... D.B.

That's a traverso (flute) not a recorder. Very nice though!!

Yes, of course, it is not a recorder.
It is a Flute Traverso but even not a normal one,
third higher. Terz Flute? Transposed into Bflat Major from G Major. But it played phantasticly, both with Traverso and lute continuo playing. D.B
