  • Hopefully this fraud will never been happen again. Government should make a law protecting its constituents from this scammed.

  • Real Estate Scammer Walter Woodyard also goes by Rock Woodyard, home buyers in Atlanta or DC beware!!!

  • Armando Mentelongo is scamming people left and right.

  • hoW CA N CNN BE SO IGNORANT? THE LENDER DOES WANT YOUR HOME, THEY GET INSURANCE AND TAX WRITE OFFS WHEN THEY TAKE IT.,

CNN SHOULD BE SUED FOR SENDING INNOCENT PEOPLE TO THE CHOPPING BLOCK. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE.

  • THE BIGGEST SCAM IS THE GOVERNMENT PROGRAM HAMP.

    HAMP IS A SCAM.

  • THE BIGGEST SCAM IS THE GOVERNMENT PROGRAM HAMP.

HAMP IS A SCAM. DON'T CONTACT YOUR LENDER.. THEY ARE THE CHARLATONS.

  • OK Two stories, they might be scammers out there, However My mom had a loan at 7% paid $1,000 and got a modification down to 2% in 3months....My aunts husband decides to do it himself, and its been a little over a year and still nothing....Why is that...who knows you decide and GOOD LUCK

  • Going to the lender is not always the answer, and the erratic comments by these so called "experts" are not helpful either. If you buy a home with as little down as possible and start cashing out on your equity, then you are the problem, and not the telemarketers who call you. You're the one who took out too much equity, ran out of savings, and ended up on a NOD call sheet. Stop blaming the industry and start taking responsability and using common sense to avoid such situations and scams. Peace

  • Gotta love this. Our so-called gov't has allowed FELONS to not only break laws but to walk away w/billions and so now let's get down on the 2-bit lawbreakers. Biz as usual in the USA

  • Call the bank when we're having trouble paying mortgage? I did that and the bank (US Bank) did not help at all. The bank never calls you back, they never respond to written mails, very hard for them to answer your phone call. One day they answered and gave advice to me that turned out to be dirty tactics to destroy my credit. Kept sending bills with late fees. US Bank is one greedy bastard and they will not help. Probably other banks too.

  • this ladys stupid. there is no law against her "refinance roullette". only idots would let themselves be apart of something like that. if you go fishing for loan sharks you will get bit.

  • She says get in there and do it yourself... Does she no what she is getting in there and doing???

  • The banks love when you did it yourself, They pay alot for this campaign. The bank beats homeowners 92% of the time (B of A). MHA plan (site) gives the real #'s 12%, Banks are working all angles. Government dollar, payments, and penalties. Find a trusted professional, people that do a good job have people coming to them. Just like a tax person, auto mechanic, and doctor.

Smart people go to court with a legal consol. To fight for your home your home the bank says do it yourself? Why?

  • By the way only 12% get help from the banks by going direct. (MHA data). If you read the number you will find that may be professional help. Just Because your CNN doesn't make you correct,,, Look at the numbers,,,12% or 80%.Big business and the government together again..

  • Good Loan Modification companies get 80% results... but the 20% will never be happy because their banks will not help.... Many people can do their taxes but hire someone for a fair fee to do work. The same for Loan Modification. Most people on the net can do it themselves, but that is not the case for many. Many can not learn the process and the banks are not eager to help.

  • Oy vey. Theft by any other name is still THEFT.

  • If you want to lose your home, go to Steven Craig Feldman/Feldman Law Center.

If you want to be scammed, contact Feldman Law Center.

If you want to get charged thousands of dollars for nothing, contact Steven Craig Feldman.

If you want someone to lie to you, contact Steven Craig Feldman.

  • These people say that you can do it yourself. But your lender doesn't always want to work with you. I am with AHMSI and they are very difficult to work with. So I went to an attorney. I paid $3000 up front. It has been 6 months, they have passed my paperwork to 5 different people and now I just received a notice of default. This means I will be losing my house and I am out of $3000. I am so sick.

  • What a flipping gut wrenching loud mouth woman... she runs her mouth like a total know it all. NOT ALL BANKS WANT TO WORK WITH HOME OWNERS... but hey you read the teleprompter like a bobble head dildo so you must be right! There are GOOD investors doing GOOD things for people in need but thats not a GOOD story is it? One sided stories make good news dont they sweetie? I wish you luck... you will NEED it with how you talk and think.

  • You couldn't have said it any better!!!!!

  • I also have had a problem with Feldman Law Center. They are right here in Southern California, but they are advertising in many states as different companies. Can you imagine $3500.00 a pop for doing nothing. When the Feds look at his records, they're going to find a mess. Hopefully, it won't be too late for too many.

  • if you think you can modify your loan yourself watch Maxine Waters the congresswoman from L.A. try to do this herself on the ABC Nightline trying to "do this yourself" common folk dont understand this you must hire a pro, and stay clear of lawyers they're the first to steal as its almost imposible to suit a lawyer, per the BAR they perform their services simply by telling you what your rights are. Yeah call your lender directly, have the wolf guard the hens...LOL!!!!

  • You make no sense. Lawyers can't steal because they aren't going to put up their own money to stop a foreclosure process. The idea behind this scam is to stop a foreclosure but force the home owners to become renters in their own house.

Please, don't try talking like a smartass if you don't know shit.

  • I just watched this news report and I believe these people are just part of the problem, no real ideas just take the neg and sensationalize it. Don't care about the viewer. Yes, Banks will mod your loan but what kind of loan mod will you get is the real question. Oh don't talk about that, that's the grey area, TRUST THE BANK. I have got people who were told they don't qualify and or given a very short term relief and then the bank makes you sign paperwork holding them harmless!!!

  • Steven Craig Feldman and Feldman Law Center use fraud to get clients!!!!!!!!!!!

  • State of Nevada has state laws prohibiting fees being charged up front for foreclosure assistance. According to NRS 645F.400, foreclosure consultants cannot charge a fee before they have performed the services promised at the point of contact.

According to NRS 598.741, companies providing counseling or assistance to a person for a loan modification should be registered with Consumer Affairs in the State of Nevada. If your company FHLM is actually a company, is it registered in Nevada?

  • MiCasaMiDinero, you would think that Nevada has laws but they are often ignored. Attorneys are now doing loan modifications and charging $3,000 to retain them. Because this is a detainer fee, they charge this up front. No one is going to help unless you pay them.

  • I understand that law violators are rampant in ALL states; however, if the consumer does not report them to the corresponding agencies authorities these scam artists will continue to get rich!

  • MiCasaMiDinero

Who do we go to if we have been scammed? I paid $3000 up front in Nevada to an attorney to modify my loan. Now I am losing my house. Who do I report them to?

  • Based on this info, would it be correct to say that you, Louie Frias of First Federal Realty, and Robert Wilmer of TerraSpec Holdings, are two real estate agents in the state of Nevada who has teamed up with an attorney to do the loan modifications?

If so, who receives the $3,500 fee you company charges? Is it you, your partner, or the attorney you guys work with? Or do you guys split that fee between all of you?

  • Mr LouieFrias (user name)

I took down your message because you are spamming my videos and my blog posts. And since you did not respond to my previous questions, I will ask them again:

On your website you state The founders of FederalHomeLoanMods(.)com are real estate licensees and not attorneys. You also state our attorneys focus on removing any past due balances and late charges etc. at the time of the loan modification.

  • Stay away from Feldman Law Center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My mortgage company is very bad. They don't care to speak to me. I tried doing a loan modification. I sent in all the paperwork they wanted. They still wouldn't work with me. Let's be honest, the don't HAVE TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. And most of them act this way. Especially subprime.

  • The Bank Managers and CEO's, mortagage company's management and CEO's, Real Estate brokerages, Home Builders and crooked stock brokers should be imprisoned and their assests should be repossessed and used to pay the

  • if thats the case then who can we trust to get out of problems ?

  • There area non-profit organizations like "Hope" and "Acorn Housing" that can help you out.

  • Wasn't it Acorn that was accused of election fraud?

  • Acorn and Acorn Housing are two different entities

  • Avoid mortgage Loan Modification Faud. Stay away for Feldman Law Center!

  • This info is inaccurate. There are a lot of reputable companies that assist homeowners in stopping their foreclosure. Its something homeowners could do but usually won't, so why shouldn't an independent company help them and get paid for doing so?

  • While there are organizations that do help with loan modifications or foreclosure prevention like "Hope" and "Acorn Housing", there are also an increasing amount of companies coming out from everywhere claiming to help stop foreclosure. But the reality is that NO COMPANY is allowed to charge ANY fees for any services like the ones they promise unitil EVERYTHING has been done and the problem is that MOST of these companies try to cheat people out of thousands before they even do anything.

  • Research more! ACORN has added to our economic/credit crisis by putting people without jobs and bad credit into mortgages. They are 1 of the companies that is being bailed out by the Senate passing the $850 billion bailout plan, paid for by the tax payers. That is just WRONG! What did they think would happen by giving subprime, interest only mortgages once the market prices decreased. Now they were bailed out when they should be in jail just like the CEO's of the failed banks. RESEARCH MORE
