@manidig Not really, the caps weren't that bad. The mic on the camera is very sensitive, and the phonograph was playing down in my basement, which the outlet wasn't fully grounded.

But either way, it, doesn't really make a difference since the record player sold on eBay last year for $200 bucks :)

AWESOME record player! It's just like the one that my friend has. He's having trouble with the tonearm weight though, could u message coolbluelights and tell him how to adjust the weight? apparently it's very hard to set.

Thanks for the comment! It's a light tracking stereo cartridge. Not sure of the brand, but looks like an Electro-Voice. I've seen the exact same cartridge/needle setup in high-end Motorola stereos and console units.

ceramic or magnetic? maybe a sonotone 9t?

Sounds like the one. It has a fiip over needle and a circular-type wire socket

probably so,the sonotone 9t sounds great on

my motorola.they are kind of costly though because

they arent made anymore. the cheapest ive seen

is close to $25,which is alot for a ceramic cart.

Hmmm. I may need one down the road. The present one works, but on occasion, the sound cuts in and out. I'm also going to check the tubes and tube sockets to make sure nothing is loose. Can you tell me where you found see that Sonotone cartridge?

i was luck in my motorola belonged to my grandparents and they bought 2 cartridges,so i had

a brand new one.ebay has them though.just type

in sonotone 9t in the search box.
