I was moved to tears watching this as I'll always remember watching his swashbuckling style and seeing him on tv for the first time at Birkdale in 76 at the Open. The unparalleled grace of his swing can never be described in words. The first time I saw him (and his swing) I was blown away. Seve was a golfing genius to never be forgotten. Great job with the music here as well....thanks so much for posting.

I remember the shot very well. It was from a high camera angle and from memory I dont think it actually made the green, it was just off the right side. I will look through my collection and see if I have it, I hope so.
the first time i watched seve at wentworth was in 1978 during his semi with simon owen.i stood behind the 16th tee and watched him shank a 1-iron miles high into someone's garden.after a few spanish pleasantries he pulled his driver out and smashed the provisional over the small track that cuts across the fairway.a good memory for me and a bad day for him,he went on to lose the match 3and2,i always wonder if anyone else saw this shot.
I too have lots of video and I will try and see if I have the shot you mention which I assume is the bunker shot where Seve used a three wood. Thanks again for the upload.
@2468Bubbly Ye s, the video you can find on the list of vids I made. Thanks, if you can find this shot on tape you will be a God! I have requested this shot on Facebook, on the internet, Peter Alliss and Seve himself RIP and on various forums. If you have time to read the comments on the video there is some dispute whether it was ever captured. Feel free to comment on the video, it may helf someone to find it! Thanks.
This is a great collection of wonderful golf from Seve - thankyou and as someone else said the music is great too. I first saw Seve play when he was 18 years old and I watched him throughout his whole carreer. I miss him greatly and he cannot be replaced so clips like these are gold to all golf fans especially ones in the future who will not have seen him play so thankyou once again.
@2468Bubbly Thank you very much. My aim for these videos was to keep his memory alive and to share the thrills and the teeth grinding he caused me over 20 years! I taped all his play on VHS from around 1983, I have hours and hours of Seve but not the time to edit it. I,m still searching for the clip of his 1983 Ryder Cup bunker shot, I will not settle till I find it. (See the video I made requesting info on it).
@Sevefan You click on edit video> settings> then you click in the box that says"make this video available on mobile phones and TV". I also have a Seve video if you would like to check it out? Thanks Sevefan your videos are great!!
Just watching this really does bring back so many good memories. The charisma, the sheer skill. And to think of the equipment that so many of these shots was played with!
@SeniorConecho71 Kind words, thank you. It was a pleasure compiling the clips from the hours and hours and hours and...........I have of Seve. Wish I had time to do more. He is missed from the game.
I remember watching the matchplay from Wentworth when Seve was working for The BBC. He was with Ken Brown out on the course describing the difficulty of reading the greens. They were at the 6th or something with only a few spectators watching as the tournement had not started and Ken said that anything short of 20 feet away was nye on impossible. Seve put a ball down and with his putter, put it straight in the hole much to the delight of those watching, and Ken too. Would love to see that again.
I followed Seve around Wentworth when he played Greg Norman. So much charisma. The Steve McQueen of golf. All men wanted to be him and all the women wanted him. R.I.P Seve. You we're a genius.
I too have not seen that shot in 1983 but I assume it would be in the official 1983 Ryder Cup film if one exists. My fondest memory would have to be the 1988 Open. I took the day off school to watch it as the final round went to the Monday due to the weather. There was enormous pressure on Seve to win another major after so many near misses from 1985 to 1987. And there is just something about winning 5 that is so much more than 4. That day was the best I've ever seen him play. Incredible !!!
@darrenryan92 Hi there, glad you liked the video. Click on my name 'Sevefan' to see the rest of Seves videos here on YT, there's around 9 or 10 of them. I have hours upon hours of recorded TV golf, tapes, DVD's that have hours of Seve. I'll do a couple more videos in his memory when I get the chance.
I cant find anywhere his bunker shot from 1983 Ryder Cup against Zoeller. I've contacted everyone from P Alliss to Seve himself but no body has seen it. Have you?
@clarinetjo Very kind words. I love making the videos of Seve but its finding the time to do it. Glad you enjoyed watching the great man! Thank you very much.

How was his driving so wild with such a beautiful swing! A swing that would still be classed as the modern way in 2012!
