Unfortunately, I'm quite a sentimental guy; when my romance ended with a girl I was in love with, I - a then 24-year old (much younger than this tune, I'm 26 now) - listened to this all the time whilst I wallowed in my sorrows. Can't say it made me feel better, but I reckon in such a depressed state there is this odd (possibly unhealthy too?) comfort you get from the sadness. Amazing... this short tune depicted my heartbreak so accurately, both lyrically and musically.
