My cat got this a few times and I did the same method as the vet here except with a pliers. I have no idea what it was now I know thanks! also there wasn't much of any wound left on the cat and lived on very happily to this day!
Worked perfectly with hemostats.I thought the head would stay in,but it came out ok.The most difficult part was getting E,T, to stay still,of course. He's a juvenile male chihuahua. ;)
For some reason this is by far the worse flea/tick season I've ever seen,a real battle all year.
Thank you so much for this video. I used it to help me pull out a tick from my dog and of course it worked! The hardest part was getting my dog to sit still, but I followed your instructions to a Tee! Thanks again.
I just removed a tick from the back of my cat's head. I took it off with my bare hands. I thought that was a bunch of spiders growing. When my brother said it was a tick I began to panic. He told me to take it out carefully so I did. Then I wrapped it up in tissue and burnt it.
@maryjen123 Unfortunately, stepping on a tick doesn't always kill them. That's why we say to kill it by placing it in a jar of alcohol, freezing it or burning it.
Hey look at his channel you can clearly see he likes fish!

We actually take the removed ticks and put them in a sealed ziplock baggy and immediately throw it in the garbage.

Thank you!
But my cat has a different kind of a tick. It's very small, and fast.
What method shall I use for those kind of ticks?
