  • clear blue skys was yesterday ....not no more it isnt, today is trails X's and tic tac toes in the sky . . . .claiming to be "global warming medicine" ----BULSHIT

con trails .....BULLSHIT . . . genetically mortifying the whole world while we all chill on iPHONES and wireless pieces that we have no clue how they operate

ohhh man i was born in 90 . .what the fuck has my generation come to ! .

  • what a strange description of "the best on clear blue skies." why do you suggest its boring in the description? why is it "the best" in your opinion? not the content obviously. one final note on the description, this is about a white man loving a black woman, not a "black girl."

  • @sicknature

chill out dude, he said it's a good song even though some people might be deterred from the description- and there's nothing wrong with saying "black girl," who do you think you are? just enjoy the song

  • @KameKasu the song doesn't need a description especially such an awkward one. it would be appropriate if we were talking about children to say, "black girl" but we are talking about two adults so if it's a male in juxtaposition to a female it should be man and woman...unless the song is talking about an under-aged female partner, which it's not. be consistent. who do i think i am? what a silly question. who are you? deal with it. and i don't need your approval or feedback for that matter.

  • Brilliant!

  • Hip-Hop has a pulse... these guys are keeping it alive!

  • Some dope shit. OH YEAH, let me include that I'm 16, so you should give me a thumbs up! -_-;;

  • @xCrAzYbOyx213 xaxa

  • Such a laid back sample/beat, combined with strong lyrics, make this a timeless song. Heard this for the first time last week while fishing with my homies off the docks in SF. Not a care in the goddamn world. Its because of songs like this that nostalgia is even a word.

  • Funny how the dad mentions white people only having golf and tennis to themselves. Not that Tiger and the Williams sisters are on top anymore, but still.

  • Man I bought this back in the day good shit!

  • @zicon6 you have an awesome teacher

  • all of these new "rappers" should stop making music and let real musicians like this get known

  • Hip hop at its cream..........they juggin' knots plus rhymes, still this song does it 4 me peace.

  • This right here, his timeless. 50 years from now, you could show someone and say... this, this right here was what hiphop was.

  • naaaaht bad.

    naht bad at all

  • I wish I didn't see these whining people on EVERY old skool or old skool style hiphop video. It's the same over and over, you guys saying shit isn't real anymore, 'these lil wayne type dudes have no idea what hiphop is'. PLEASE there is enough cool hiphop out there made today and that old skool shit won't go away.

  • 16? 20? 30? is it important? lols you never forget to spread the word no matter the age...if you feel the influence of right frecuencies and real artists makin music from his souls the age its only a number- and the whole massive world was infected with instaurated melodies, easily rhytmics patrons and same thematics again and again...if you feel more deep than this...ok lets go...go ahead and forget the time. you really wanna change the game? create yourself somethin different.

    Paz! from Arg-

  • I agree and i'm 3

  • Wow, I never heard this before, an all time classic Hip Hop song...

  • Dope track...enough said!!!

  • Cant get enough of this song.

  • it's not about color or race. it's all about love

  • I wanted to marry someone too but then I ate a pizza and then my friends ate a pizza and me me go pee pee all the way hoooommmmeeee. I love that part.

  • so dope. got nothing but love for this track.

  • People need to quit straight snitchin' samples and shit. It leads to a lot of underground shit being pulled off Youtube because a lot of lesser known artists can't afford royalties. Just listen to the music while it's still here and legally free.

  • Fantastic song... I feel dumb 4 never hearin it b4

  • The mainstream can never produce a vibe as raw and beautiful as this. Beautiful.

  • shit hits deep, great song

  • only had to hear 5 seconds of this song to know it was going to be epic. A+

  • anyone know where the samples from?

  • @mrmiceelf It samples the acapella of "Back to Life" by Soul II Soul. Not sure of any other samples, if any.

  • @mrmiceelf I've been working at finding the sample. Buddy Slim said in an interview this sampled a Meters song... no idea yet.

  • @mrmiceelf Found your answer by accident listening to the Meters and saying to myself, "this sounds familar!." The Meters -Stormy.

  • @kidcashmir yes! legend, think this guy daley's ripped it, and written an awful song over the top, apparently hes gonna be big in 2011, daylight robbery goes unnoticed once again,

  • @mrmiceelf Uggghh. I looked it up. That's just terrible...

  • @staleyman13 i couldn't find anything; what exactly am i supposed to look for? :/

  • damn.. what happened to music? this is too deep.

  • MAN THIS IS WHY UPPER EAST COAST BEATS NEEDS A COMEBACK!!!

FUCK JAY Z, 50 Cent, Jim Jones, Other fake ass rappers thesedays, even retarded Down South PERIOD!!

  • @qwandiddy Could not have said it better myself! Thumbs up

  • jugganots got the best beats

  • first time hearing this in five years. so dope.

  • yo can someone put up "you gotta do one of these things" , "projections" , and "Up at the Stretch Armstrong WKCR Radio Show" off the same album?

  • Comment removed

  • yeee can some one say "hip hop at its finest"

  • 9 Drake fans dislike the song

  • @kevindagame excatly

  • So dope.

  • First time i heard this song, its fucken brilliant.

  • your description ruins the song, you should be ashamed of yourself

  • gud shit!

  • the description says it all, very powerful imo aswell

  • hey this is one of my first juggaknot songs and i was wondering why they are portraying a white father and son, when of course they are black

  • @SC2TurtleBurger It is probably a role reversal...same situatione except replace the black female with black male and visa versa

  • @SC2TurtleBurger mixed. he and heroine are mixed. Black mom/white dad

  • -but instead of simply sinkin to the level of your thinkin, i'll be ghost.

-pack your bags, nigger lover, and good riddance.

    LOL

  • samples?

  • i am the creator of the "HipHopApostles" group on facebook and would like to share the real hip hop with the people who give respect to it

  • damn.... i cannot find this album anywhere. if someone can help me out let me know

  • @cdc0186 (dvdvideosoft) you can use this to turn youtube videos into mp3s. and its legit man,. i use it all the time for those albums and tracks nobody seems to have

  • @adam802609 that's really low quality though. if it's just temporary that's fine but for the long haul you should take the time to find something CDQ.

  • The remix of this track ( Track #8 on Fat Beats Vol. 1) is WAY better, go check it out.

  • Whoa, nevermind, youtube fucked all its times up.

  • Uh, no. It's sarcasm--hey dad, it's good you're on my side. In my corner comes from a boxing coach being in his boxer's corner, and thus on his 'side.'

  • so the song is about self hate as far as race goes?? i really like the song

  • Amazing song.

  • this whole album makes me ": )" ...

  • Powerful song

  • Th juggs are great,,this song is great so if u lik them buy there music and sread the word so hopefully they can be on the radio and reach that point in their career,, tell people ,,they will tell people and then the juggs will get noticed and be played onn stations

  • i am white but this is one of my favorite songs

    it goes hard

  • @2009pkmn who cares about your complexion? if shit is dope like the jugg´s, it´s dope!

  • 1996 is not old school, sorry.....

  • Underground classic, back when it the scene was pumping out some real gems. Still remember hearing it one Stretch and Bobbito show as well the Undergroundrailroad. Dope is an understatement regarding this track and the group.

  • dope ass song

  • this beat gives me chills

  • RIP TO all the record stores in New York,, Music Factorys in Bklyn, Queens and Bronx. Downstairs records in Manhattan, Beat Street in Brooklyn. Besides the few in LES/East Village, Fat Beats and Rock and Soul are the only ones Left. This song brings back great memorys.

  • fresh one ! as dope as dope can get!

  • Powerful.

  • chill, oldschool, wow, high. :]

  • easily one of the best oldschool tracks - powerful message of music

  • Wow, first time ive heard this. Great mellow beat with lyrics that punch, so easy to listen to. Reminds me of Pete Rock and Cl Smooth's T.R.O.Y

  • where can i find the instrumental of clear blue skies?

  • One of the deepest tracks from the 90's. On par with 93 til infinity.

  • this version's ......... OK.

But to REALLY get the intensity and emotional impact of the song you have GOT to hear the remix!!

  • This version's OK? This is the only version as far as I'm concerned.

  • @jmart755000 the remix is booschwap, the original songs on the album are the best. as greatful as i am for the re-release, the only songs that i fucks wit are the ones from the original.

  • Coped this on wax back in '96 when it was first released on Fondle 'EM....such an excellent album...this track in particular always stuck with me and I still knock this joint to this day.

    @YoungConstant

"This song will always blow my mind and help me love life."

    very true indeed.

  • damn i thought this joint was dropped in 2k?

  • This track is so dope, I wish kids my age would bump this today.

  • @2191bw , I am one of those kids

  • @dededeclown We are few

  • @2191bw I feel you, but in different context. I wish kids my age listened to stuff like this too. I'm 16.

  • @BR00T4Lvideos same man

  • @BR00T4Lvideos haha well i do bro, I'm 17.

  • @BR00T4Lvideos keep listening to this stuff man, it will keep your mind inquisitive and craving quality, rather than settling for the mainstream bullsh*t

  • @BR00T4Lvideos they do. your not special.

  • @BR00T4Lvideos what a cute 16 year old u are. setting a good example by keeping real music alive :)

  • @BR00T4Lvideos Nobody gives a fuck how old you are.

  • @BR00T4Lvideos the real tragedy is most never will... and thank god for the internet cus without this here, theres NO chance in hell. Fuck the RIAA deciding who can and can't get exposure...

  • @2191bw.....i feel u brotha....kids today don't now shhhh about good music!!

  • @tuurroo Most people don't know anything about good music, man. Regardless of age.

  • @staleyman13 u make a good point there...

  • @2191bw if your talking 16, you found one. kids need to appreciate real hip hop

  • @2191bw yes and you have found another one bro...i wish the same thing you do

  • Where were you when you first heard this song?

For me 1997, listening to it at work with my Sony Walkman tape player. Brother lent me the tape and I musta run the track back the whole shift. Memories like that for me are golden. This song will always blow my mind and help me love life.

  • the best shit you never heard of

  • Used to listen to this track HEAVY last year...Came across it once again, fell in love with this masterpiece once again lol

  • beautifully dope......

  • ive been looking for this song for so long. I heard it on a comp made by NC clothing mixed by DJ Wisdom. After a decade of listening to the song and wondering who it was by, i find it.Such a great song.

  • you´ve been looking for this song for so long?

its on youtube since december 2007...

  • mad deep, glad u ulpaded this...

  • dope sick

  • Nice track!!!

  • still got this when this came out on wax. this is my favorite class of music.. can't really call it underground anymore due to the internet.... its a good thing that people get to hear this type of music... now if there was only a modern day Yo Mtv Raps..

  • Yea man, the message I give kids nowadays if they wanna learn about REAL hip hop is to search for it on the net and youtube.

  • real HipHop. dope rhymes with a message, with substance

  • ...naw, fuck the grouch.

  • u gotta hear grouches old shit, i dont like his new stuff, too poppy

  • I have Soul on Ice and OK's albums, and The Book of Human Language, but stuff like Illogic is the reason I don't like what underground means.

It means follow others' trends, just do so being destitute.

  • I don't like rap much, but it's all I listen to. Underground usually sucks as much as mainstream, trends and all, but man.

This is some great shit. Just downloaded Re: Release. Can't believe I found this, thanks tons.

  • You need to listen to some real shit... Your right. Mainstream is shit. If you look at the right underground shit you'll realize stuff like Organized Konfusion, Ras Kass' Soul On Ice, Aceyalone, Akrobatik, Blueprint, Illogic, OC, PackFM etc. is actually as good as if not better than this.

  • this is a dope song,its chill

  • I just noticed the Soul II Soul sample in here. man, this beat is tight

  • this whole album is very slept on...one of the best tracks here the beat just chills you out

  • i know a lot of cats who represent true hip hop, but dont really know they juggaknots. i hand them re:release and watch heads nod.

  • Check out K'naan - waving flag

matter of fact just check out all his songs... very real stuff... inspirational too...

    =)

    spread the word.

JuggaKnots is sick too. I just wish there are more of these in today's hip hop

  • all of the song lyrics on the net are incomplete, someone needs to take car of it. the song is emotion.

  • this song was beyond its time, beyond our time. inspirational, thats what comes to mind when i hear this epiphany of music. Unreal style...

  • wish I could hear just the instrumentals sometimes. they got a much different feel to em than the lyrical content.

  • is guru in this group?

  • no...

did you know that both part are only played by one dude? breezy brewin.... the vocals was adjust to make his voice different froom the other...

  • o shit...learn a new thing everyday

  • thats dope i didnt know that

  • shit just goin be classic for the fans...aint nobody know abt this shit but us

  • This is god damn good track.

  • his hates on black people are so spot on lol

  • this is such a good song

  • I remember when this first came out. There was an actual video for this. It was only played on video music box back in the day.

  • this song is absolutely amazing!!

  • I'm stunned. I had no idea the Juggaknots did this track. when I first heard this track years ago, for some reason I thought it was Del being the father. Thanks for posting this. I miss Hip-Hop! With all the wackness out today, it's no wonder why I strayed away from it.

  • someones gotta upload the remix, that shit is SINISTER

  • What does he mean with "glad to see my fathers in my corner"?

  • It just means understanding. If they were both cornered then the father would understand his son's dilemma...

  • nah hes being sarcastic like im glad to see my fathers on my side like you always have someone in your corner when your boxing its a saying thats where it comes from

  • @weirdguy112358 Nah I think it's a reference to boxing. If his father was in his corner, his father would be on his side supporting him. In this case, he's saying "i'm glad to see my father's in my corner" sarcasticly.

  • @weirdguy112358 word

  • nah it means hes glad that his fathers on his side. its a boxing reference, as in ur coach in ur corner supportin u

  • n its sarcastic btw

  • true but he means it in a sarcastic way, because his dad is not actually supporting his relationship
