Raising a pot with Ivey in position is not well advised. Best to have a stronger hand, or a better read on Ivey.

This really is a great play by Phil, because he can 4bet here with almost any two cards. He know Akenhead cannot even CONSIDER calling unless he has a totally premium hand. And Akenhead is no dummy, Phil is completely aware James is very capable of making this 3bet with a wide range of hands. The beyond correct 3bet by Akenhead, but just a sicker 4bet by my man Ivey! This 3bet by James would work on majority of players.

@iconoclast202 Nah, blinds are 1st bet, iveys 110k raise is two bet, Akenheads 390k raise is three bet, so iveys 990k raise is four bet

@iconoclast202 Norman is right because Phil Ivey didn't limp in, he raised to 110k as he starts his hand. So Akenhead's raise is three bet and phil's re-raise is four bet.
