  • wow i've always thought that the wheel would take all the impact.

  • This is why on my xTerra I carry my spare under my car and not on a trunk rack...it's not the quality of the car, it's the fact that the tire warps the metal enough to pop the glass.

  • 5mph? XD

  • My Friend owns a CR-V Uh Oh! this Is Not Good

  • My gram has one of these, has totaled a toyota camry and a chevy work van without anything but a mild scuff

  • the cr-v wasnt even going tht fast in real time. how is this test even accurate?

  • @shagorocka87 so what your saying its going slower. also ummm they put the cam in slow motion

  • lets hope I don't get rear ended.

  • The back window is always shattering due to the back spare tire

  • I know that it is to see how safe is the vehicle.. but.. is it necessary to be wrecking them so much ??

  • What a JOKE the way the glass breaks like that!!!

  • 1:31

    Ah, I see, it´s not a spare wheel, it´s a buffer

  • i'm glad that that car has a wheel. i have one my self and a guy ran into my back bumper.there was no dent on my car but his got jacked up.thank god for the wheel in the back.he had a Toyota tundra

  • Wow the rear window sucks bu every thing was ok looks wise

  • that back window sucks

  • $870? On the engine? Skyline hit us at probably a higher speed (not much) but I'm pretty sure he's not paying anything close to that

  • the car would be fine if it wasnt for the spare wheel, lol

  • it does pretty well as long as you dont back into a pole or a wall, if a car rear-ends u thats under the spare tyre so the window wouldnt break like that. And seriously how often do people back up that quickly into a brick wall anyways?

  • What!...no" 5 mph backing into a redneck test"?.. oh righhhht it has to be done at the Walmart parking lot!

    Damage Cost

    $2.58 - Bag of Cheetos

    $ 1.50 Peggy Sue's 86 Dodge Diplomat w/ Vinyl Roof

$ 10.50 Bottle of Wild Turkey

  • ok, so, i learned that fishtanks have stronger glass than the rear window. great . . .

  • i'm guessing not to buy a cr-v???

  • That's what happens when you have the spare wheel on the back of the car.

  • $870 just for kissing the barrier...????

    thats a rip off....

  • I backed up into this girls car and messed up her fender pretty bad but nothing happen to my CRV thanks God for the tire in the back :)

  • does a whole new backdoor cost almost 3 grand or something cuz thats basically what you would jst need 2 replace for the back

  • lmfao, i love the window breaking!

  • 5 mph? wow! scary!!! lol

  • that not the point!

  • whaa??

  • only the first one costs any money the others the car was fine...

unless 870$ is for paint or something

  • 2nd crash was hardcore.

i would be scared shitless... lol

  • thats because its not called a bumpertest, its called a pole test, the bumper test was the one after it

  • It's verry logical the widow breaks.

Because of the fact the pillar does not hit the energy reducing bumper, but the unflexibel trunk door...

  • holy mother didnt see that coming... ( Glass Broke )

  • I know your jealous.

I know you drive a Cherry.

  • Not gonna live very long

  • just how i backed mine into the pole but my window didnt break i was oging like 1 my spare tire was crusked and i think that the big ass tire is a safety hazard big ass blind spot but i needed hole new trunk and spare tire and hard tire case because mine was a 2005 rervion now i love my 08 1

  • 0:48 the car is still spotless

    kathunk

  • LOL. The part where they crash straight into the wall... it's stupid.. only someone drunk would do that. But... nice to know that its safe (or is it)

  • All similar small SUV's have the window popping disease. Its quite sad.

  • Haha! The wheel is just like a button! When you press it, the glass breaks!!! LMFAO

  • Comment removed

  • lmfao. look! the glass broke LOL

  • I've seen people in a mall parking lot back up into big light poles.

The bottom part of these poles were 2ft diameter cement posts. (The don't move at all).

One guy must have been going about 30mph!

  • Note to self... avoid backing into metal poles.

  • @iono101 Ha ha ha my mom did that with her 2002 crv.

  • a honda crv is one of the safest vehicles to get into a crash in tho.. any machanic would jack up the price!

  • wel...its a civic chassis with a civic engine..i'm not expecting too much, and the lesson i learned about my car, if you are gonna run into a wall, run stright at it, not backwards not angled

  • but ist it the older model of the crv the 1 with the crv chassis...cuz this crv is way bigger then the older 1

  • im not sure actually...but definitely a car chassis ..when i test drove the mazda tribute back then the road noise is loud, and when i drove the crv the noise is much lower, when the sales told me that "yes its quieter because it's a car's chassis" so yea....

  • yeaa..it does feel like a car...BUT ITS FREEKKIN AWESOME MAN!!!...lol...thx

  • its becouse the xestra wheel

  • Whos know i say i drive the integra with 100 mph

i bang into a big truck my integra nth happens talk shit

  • Some weak shit

  • dang!

  • LOL whoaaa!

  • The test is kinda silly...how often do people back square into a big flat wall? It's like they designed the test to cause the most damage. I've looked for big flat walls to back into with my CR-V, and most have things like curbs, guard rails, and sidewalks blocking the way...

  • only 5 mph.even my bicycle can do this with damage.

  • Lol, thats damned funny... and expensive...

  • That was funny! Lol

  • Lol, funny tests.
