Měl jsem na mysli DDR, tam byla situace podobná, jako u nás. A favorit je 30 let zastaralý dnes v roce 2010, ale tehdy (1987) patřil na světovou úroveň. Proto ho také ještě do roku 1995 stále vyráběli. Mimochodem technický pokrok probíhá stejně za jakékoliv doby. Rozdíl je ten, že dřív se vyrábělo a dnes ne. Dřív lidé měli práci a dnes ne. I komunistická škodovka by jistě vyvinula nové modely.

@martan1258 Favorit nebol svetovej úrovne ani zďaleka. S vtedajšími západnými autami ako Golf, Escort alebo Opel Kadett sa nemohol porovnávať. U nás bol o neho veľký záujem lebo nič lepšie sa tu kúpiť aj tak nedalo a prvý jeho majitelia hovorili o sklamaní a nízkej kvalite. Tá sa zlepšila až prechodom Škody pod krídla VW. Tatra a Škoda patrila medzi výrobcov áut na svetovej úrovni hlavne pred pred 1. svetovou, medzi vojnami a po 2. svetovej vojne až kým tu nezačali všetko likvidovať komunisti.

Tehdy jsme se ještě tomu Německu vyrovnali. Rozdělené Německo škodilo Německu, ale pomáhalo celé Evropě. Poté se sjednocené Německo stalo ekonomickou velmocí a hospodářsky zlikvidovalo ČR. Všichni češi teď makají v německých továrnách (viz škoda...), to je fakt hrůza...

I saw Prague in times of communism, and I am sorry to say it was shit. Seeing Prague now is like seeing a big city like it should be. As far as I know, the Human Rights speek about freedom to travel, and since communists  dont accept this rule, communists are criminals against humanity shooting people trying to escape their socalled paradise. What really scares me, is that people still believe in the communist model, and just wont listen to others who wont have their crap.

I think that Czech socialism has lost a great chance when soviet enter in the country with tank, the "Pražské jaro" has been a great example to follow for the other sociaslist country...but are you sure that the well-being does it measure with mobile phone and golf courses?

In the communist times it was much better in the CSSR. Now all British tourists in Prague destroy the city and the Czech police do not do anything to stop them. In Cheb there is drug-trading due to West-German-tourists.
