He missed the octave at 0:35, he had to bail himself out of this mistake fast so he had to almost shout the sylabes of next word and slowly get back to in the right melody, he knew that trying to get fast back to right melody = fail. Even tho he missed it, the thing he was able to change the mistake into 'feature', shows he's good in what he does. Interesting voice as well.
America's main mistake was for many times picking the person with the best looks for marketing, not always the best talent. Obviously Norway was smarter and went with the amazing talent this guy has.

@Heavymetalpunker92x You have every right to be proud. The best male voice is from Norway and it belongs to Kurt Nilsen. He recorded with Willie Nelson just up the hill from where I live, and I didn't even know it till he was gone. Wish he would come back and perform in the USA again.

He is a really good singer, but that's the wrong song. it is a requiem. really, it is kind of strange listening to that cries and applause. Strange.
