That looks like the spot kind of near the place where the divers go out, and just north of the big grassy area and Boomer Beach, just down from where the cave tourist spot used to be. Where in the heck is it. It's gotta be La Jolla.
You are right, it is the La Jolla Cove. Those waves were huge. If you search for videos from "12/21/05" you will see some monster waves. I was only taping for about 20 minutes.
