  • that's not Symphony no 7, thats moonlight sonata. You might want to check out symphony 7 here on youtube itself.

  • moonlight sonata, maaan, moonlight sonata, op.27/2.

  • That was awful.

  • --KIND OF UNRELATED--- you people who know about music please help me,

theres a piece of music which I need the name of, it classical with vocals and has a realy epic powerful feel to it. TV shows use it a lot for really exciting intros and iv seen loads of boxers use it, if anybody thinks they know what im on about please reply thanks

  • micsimus, I think you're talking about Beethoven's 9th, also called "Ode to Joy". He composed that while he was completely deaf!

  • I must say that "fur elise" is really not of the greatest work beethoven composed. imho the more wonderful, the more spritual music talking to the soul he ever wrote is his last sonata, opus 111...

  • it sounds like the information came out of a childrens book

  • Songs have WORDS. These are tunes. Real pieces. REAL compositions!

  • moonlight sonata is the name of the first song

  • Beethoven was such a marvelous composer.

  • that was horrible...and by the way, that wasn't beethoven's 7th symphony, try "moonlight sonata"

  • This was such a good video.Where is the mistake though? Contact me for help with the literary mistakes eg he was a one should be he was one.

  • This was such a crap video. Where is the effort?

  • Wrong info. He preferred viola. He wrote a lot more than fifty "songs" his opus numbers go to about 127, with multiple pieces for some numbers. This doesn't include pieces without opus numbers, which includes Fuer Elise. He did not go deaf until about 1802 when he was in his early thirties, though it began around 1797.

  • this made me chuckle

  • Thanks for the info.

  • Beethoven was so awesome that he couldn't be from this world...*g*

  • Ok, Mr. ETA Hoffmann...lol...

  • Im sorry but whats the name of the song that is at the start of the video?

  • The moonlight sonata, first movement.

  • moonlight 14

  • I love beethoven, ever since I was little I loved beethoven. He is an amazing musician. I'm such a geek! ^_^yep.

  • that blew

  • ok, it wasn´t his 7.th symphony that as played in the beginning,.. it was hi's 14 piano Sonata!

  • i wish someone could play his music on here on the piano without sounding so terrible.
