  • do you own private property

  • @IIxJETTxII some of us do and some of us dont

  • You got any good ones lined up for this season. We have been a little dissapointed with the trail cams we have set up in Jefferson County, but we know some PIGS made it through last season. Had quite a year for the video last season and hope to repeat it this year. best of luck, and keep posting bro.

  • @PAXThunter There are a few we are hoping to see during archery season. I just started setting trail cams. Good luck to you also!

  • @PAXThunter That is a beautiful 5x6 you shot. Ever since I moved to Wy. I been missin the hell out of tree stand hunting in the hardwoods. Seems like PA is really pickin up too.

  • At 1:44 what did the buck on the left score?

  • In PA can you just go to the woods and shoot shit ? What are the restrictions and stuff? I am moving to PA just for the liberal gun laws ... hehe

  • @Amirnake You can when hunting season is in. What kind of restrictions? I do know youre not allowed to use semi-auto rifles to hunt with.

  • did you ever get the buck at 7:50

  • @atownoutdoors It was shot by a bow hunter that year and survived. It was seen the following year about 2 miles aways from where it was shot with an even bigger rack and thats the last anyone ever seen it again.

  • @Leatherwoodoutdoors thats a shame beautiful DT

  • @Leatherwoodoutdoors it might of been a different deer because its unlikely a deer would grow a bigger rack with an injury like that...im sure you know that if deer is injured it shows it by the deer having a deformed or small antler opposite to the side of its body that it was injured on

  • You have a nice hunting area. Im only 15 and hunt down in Gettysburg and i only see big buck on my trail camera but the little ones in hunting seasons.

  • so is that still the biggest buck so far?

  • @mscrimson09 The biggest buck that I have taken was the 11 point. I have seen bigger but havent been able to shoot them. there are bigger ones around

  • lungshot

  • my god man how much did the first buck weigh????? and was he yummy?????

  • @nickelboy550099 The first buck weighed 176 dressed and he did taste excellent!

  • WOW you shot a lot of bucks. how many guys you got at camp huntin?

  • @mortalcare There is 6 of us that hunt the property not including neighbors.

  • @Leatherwoodoutdoors the best hunts are at a camp with friends and family.

  • Awesome man, you guys are killin some unbelievable buck!!

  • @stewpeezy72 Thanks! They are getting bigger but tougher to put on the ground.

  • @leatherwoodoutdoors. I'm 17 and hunt in clarion county. Do you have an email address I can message you at?

  • i love hoow at 5:41

the little baby doe stuffed n the back of the frame

  • Hey i hunt in clarion county pennsylvania too.

  • would a 20 ga pump take down a white tail deer ?

  • @Theitalianway88 with slug yea

  • would a 20 ga pump take down a white tail deer ?

  • is this like a reserve or somthing. Alot of big deer. also hunt in pa and it is no where close to this. Is it managed land?

  • @1buckmaster24 There is no reserve, and its not managed. Just various clips from all over clarion and armstrong counties over the years.

  • 7:57 buck fever set i n

  • sooo uhm, you takn me with hunting next week!!? holy crap, you got a lot of deer there, and nice ones too. you guys had like 6 huge ones on that one day! thats rediculous!!

  • THats a great buck!! Like your vids, and you have lots of deer to film. I'm in MN, good hunting here too.

  • all of those big ones need to mount

  • Hey I was wondering If I could go hunting with you I live In pa .

  • What did the buck you shot in 2005 score which is shone a little bit in this video?

  • @gforney10 It scored in the high 130's gross i think.

  • You make great videos ! and a great deer!!! NO offence meant but why not do a European mount on that buck? It does take ALOT more time but well worth it...regardless AWESOME videos you have made

  • @Rattlin12 which buck?

  • oh ok. thank you

  • i mean at like 8:35. it looks like a tumor or something

  • @paintmx1112 the deer at 8:35 is the same deer at 8:40. It must have injured of got an infection in early antler growth that made the antler fall off. Its not a tumor. It just the antler ready to fall off. I dont know the true reason why that happend but it turned out to be a nice half rack later in the season.

  • what was wrong with the deer at 8:40?

  • @paintmx1112 It was just a half rack. Other than that nothing was wrong with it

  • awesome video... wish we had them bucks in clfd county.... we have more hunters than deer here.......

  • nice little buck.

  • Was that the biggest buck you ever shot? And what did it score?

  • @gforney10 140" gross 11 point in 2006 Made P&Y Ive seen bigger but, here in Pa thats hard to get one past that.

  • What a great hunter. I wonder what people in England and Australia think about when they see Americans who love their right to bear arms killing game? You men in England and Australia let your governments take away your rights as men. Shame on nyou all!!

  • I live in Aus and its perfectly legal to go hunting. We just cant do it with m16's or bazookas or tanks.

  • cool

  • nice buck man where the fuck did you shoot the deer at on the backbone. wow what a buck

  • which deer?

  • I'm not trying to point fingers, and I'm not saying you are, but you might want to be careful of the videos you post. Doesn't look real legal when you are spotlighting bucks and the very next scene is a dead buck in the back of a truck at night. Just a thought. Good deer though.

  • holy shit man you are definitely right! that doesnt look to good when that happens does it.

  • Go through my other videos and I have proof that it wasnt shot at night. Its just bad editing on my part. I shot that deer during daylight and that was part of the recovery at night.

  • @Leatherwoodoutdoors haha, that was bad editing, but I trust you haha, nice vid.

  • Great video!

  • good job! take me hunting. I only saw 1 legal pa buck in the past 3 years. haha

  • I was wandering how you guys did so far this season?

  • Thats great you got your deer for the year. wish i could say the same. I am trying to get the harvest on film so i have not taken a deer yet. I see an average of 25 - 30 deer a day and have only seen 2 legal buck which i passed up. planning on taking a doe as soon as i can get them to stop for the camera

  • i have put up a new video of my first day of the season check it out

  • I took your advice first day I killed a mature doe and yesterday I harvested another doe my doe tags are filled so I'm taking the remainder of the year off.

  • the way you have the video setup, that the bucks you show while you r spotting then you show a dead deer at night, it seems like you poched those deer.

  • no i have another video on here that shows that i was recovering that buck. there is video about me talking about it in day light before is got dark. I understand where your coming from thats just bad editing on my part

  • Great video Leather, I grew up in Westmoreland County, did my undergrad in Wildlife at PSU and now I am finishing my master's at Mississippi State. This will be the first year I don't get home for rifle season and deer camp so your video made me feel at home. I'm starting work soon with a provate wildlife consulting company in PA so I'll be back soon!

  • Your land looks really nice...i live in wisconsin and our land is ok. I only got out once this year and that was for the youth but, but that was my last youth hunt. I probably wont be getting out anymore this year cuz i have no land to hunt lol. But your bucks are amazingly beautiful

  • I was going to get a new deer rifle for when I go up to Potter County this year, what caliber and model do you suggest that I get?

  • I just wanted to know if you did any bear hunting in Clarion County? We have problems with bears and coyotes in Potter County in Northern Pennsylvania.

  • Yes. I went out yesterday for bear archery and found one track that was it. I wasnt able to make it out today. The bear and coyote populations are really starting to grow in clarion county. The wednesday of the last week of archery i was walking out of my stand and got too close to a mother with 3 cubs. She came after me and stopped 25 feet away. I never knew they were there. I have it on video but it was very dark and you cant see the bear though and i should have that video up soon.

  • Thanks for the advice I'm going to give it a try. Harvesting more of the does would also bring down the car accidents caused by deer where I hunt.

  • I hunt in Chester County in Southeastern Pennsylvania and where I hunt is infested with does with few bucks, even with the many does we've harvested over the years it doesn't seem to make a dent. Do you have any suggestions to help make our doe to buck ratio more even?

  • I would let the bucks go for one year and just fill all your tags with doe. Thats what i did last year. There are lots of doe here also. I could have shot 6 legal buck last year and passed them all up. I decided to take a doe with a rifle and one with a muzzleloader. Last year was the first year in 6 years i did not harvest a buck becuase i needed my doe population down. We took 6 doe in one day alone in muzzleloader season last year. ALL DOE. The KEY is NOT to kill button bucks.

  • Leatherwoodoutdoors is that a county where the bucks have to have four points on one side? Man I still can't get over how nice the deer look; I might have to hunt Clarion County some year.

  • Yes it is four point unit where i hunt. South clarion county is 4 point and north clarion is 3 point. Its alot of hard work but you must pass up the young bucks and let them grow. Pennsylvania has the potenial to be a monster buck state if everyone would pass up young bucks. all the big bucks in the video were only 3 1/2 years of age! Goes to show you what one more year on a buck can do.

  • I've been hunting for five years now in Pennsylvania and I'm yet to see a buck like that; but hard work and hard hunting always pays off. Wish the best of luck to you this upcoming firearms season!

  • is that a game farm

  • nope its not a game farm.

  • wow then thats a good buck i hunt pa and they are not like that around here

  • sometimes they are real nice bucks but usually they are only medium 6-10 points

  • nice

  • Nice collection of clips.

  • Very nice buck , i hunt in venango county.

  • im a pa hunter myself, and those are some very nice bucks, congratulations.

  • amazing bucks! my favorite is the droptines on the awesome buck!!

  • hi mr. d its brad z, garrett, and taryn!!!!!!!

  • at 4:28 why does the middle buck have its mouth open like that

  • that is actually the buck in the very next clip in the video. My Brother put the bullet right down its throat on his first shot and broke its jaw. thats why they could not figure out where he hit it at first. then it got up and tried to get away. we found the bullet in the neck after we skinned it out.

  • hi mr.d its ur student bradley zolnierzak

  • That's pretty interesting. I live in Cranberry, the next county over, Venango. A couple of those looked like they were shot in the same terrain as the State Game lands near Van. Also, my Dad grew up in Sligo, so I have relatives in Clarion County.

  • Hey man im a PA hunter too i hunt in washington county, are you by cooks forest cus the older members of my hunting party used to hunt up there bak in the day.

  • most of the hunting i do is south of clarion
