  • usb 1.0? it sucks

  • I can not use the audio box that does not recognize me .. the interface is not recognized in my pc, because it is that?? know how to explain as I install it??

  • @thegansters123

YEAAA im having the same problem

  • can you use this with garageband?

  • @LegitWun Yes.

  • can ya use it wit pro tools

  • What kind of wire is used for studio moniters?

  • @phalkek xlr to 1/4

  • @phalkek rca type cables...i recommend hosa cables, plus it really depends on what type monitors you might have...certain monitors might have different plug-in type jacks.

  • i see no XLR input........

  • @jackyDoofer or anywhere to plug a guitar in.

  • @guitaristman23 in the front -__-

  • ok tell me ome erason why this is beter than the behringer uca222,it costes x3 more so whats the deal?

  • @rugedandraw

because the behringer uca222 only supports an rca output/input. RCA audio is unbalanced, unlike XLR or TRS which are balanced.

  • Does it work well with Garageband?? if not what is good for macs?

  • @warner107 it work great with mac altho it is preferable best with imac macbooks will work aswell :)

  • Does anybody know if you can use studio headphones with this recordin box? Or do you need to buy studio monitors?

  • @guitar478skates It has a headphone volume, it goes without saying...

  • This interface is not good for Keyboards, only for guitar, bass and vocals, NOT FOR KEYBOARDS.

  • @gerry1976 like synth sounds? or just midi keyboards?

  • @RainK9: If your want to record sounds directly from the Keyboard not from the MIDI you're goin to hear static noise. Example I want to record the Piano Sounds from my Keyboard, it sounds distorted at the time of recording, its frustrating and useless. The Mic sounds clear thou.

So if you're planning to record your keyboard with this, the sould will NOT be clear.

  • @gerry1976 Why do you think it's not good for keyboards?

  • Isn't there any inputs for the guitar? If it is, how many?

  • @ujbnvf its the same as the mic one, it goes in the middle. There's 2 as well

  • its amazing how this thing can be run over by a truck and not break, yet when its been sitting here at my desk the LED's and phantom power DONT WORK AT ALL.

Not to mention the extreme amounts of clipping, static, ground loops. This thing sucks. lol

  • presonus super!!!!!!!!!

  • Note to all perspective buyers::: Guitar Center does NOT accept returns on recording interfaces (such as this unit.) This stinks, because as some of you have mentioned, I too have had the incredible static issue. It has been an endless frustration and I just want to give up. :/

  • @DramaCityKingsEnt OMG I can't get past this - I have so much static that it's totally ruined any hopes I have had of recording with this unit. Basically people say you need to get a noise reduction unit - they recommended a Behringer for $59 or some such price. Unbelievable. Geez, Presonus Studio One Artist looks like fun - I wish I could USE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how do i publish a song in studio one artist

  • I hope this work cuz I'm getin it soon

  • @MrRaphy2809 i hope you didnt get it yet !

there's lots of issues with the drivers in XP as well as some static issues

  • Can I use two Audio boxes simultaneously to record four tracks ?

  • @griffin12341 Yes, depending on your software obviously.

  • where goes the micro in?

  • where goes the mic in?

  • This thing sucks! It records each channel in mono!, just like m-audio. Can someone tell me what interface records everything in stereo!?

  • @gotitans999 It can record in stereo if you want, just as I'm sure M-Audio can.

  • @gotitans999 if u have lets say... a keyboard... u put the LEFT output of the keyboar to IN 1 and Right to IN 2 and open a Stereo Audio Track in ur DAW and set to record IN 1-2 and u got stereo... u CANNOT record STEREO ( 2 channels L and R) from just one input... unless its a spdif or ADAT input

  • the hay AudioboxUSB works with any computer? I would appreciate such a response

  • what genius thought it was clever to put the headphone jack on the back?

  • @BettyByte HAHAHAH

  • @BettyByte The engineer, trying to save on production costs. Does it ruin your day ? Lol.

  • @BettyByte No doubt...

  • Several months ago, this Interface didn't work with Vista 64bit, now it does work all you have to do is download the most recent updates and that should do it. The sound is really clean.

  • is it Presonus Audiobox USB or M-Audio Fast Track Pro ...can´t choose....and is it just me or is M-BOX overrated???

  • hello, i have this audiobox & its cool but, I cannot get mine to record in Stereo !

I always have to use mono in all my recording programs, so I dont get great playback when I record. helpp! thanks

  • @dvadabest

those inputs are not stereo and even condenser mics dont capture sound in stereo. if you'd like to record stereo you'd have to plug two mics and record with both at the same time. tough, you may bounce the mono track recorded with one mic into a stereo track, using your DAW. by the time i write this you ight already know all of this, but anyway, hope it helped :)

  • @dvadabest - Hi, I can't get it to record in stereo either, just mono, did you ever get this fixed?

  • PreSonus is more Professional Then M-Audio

  • @detroitsdeadliest

Proper grammar is more professional than talking and writing like a sixth grader.

  • Um I am of the understanding that I can plug my Bass and gats straight in... is this not the case?

  • You can plug your base straight in, hte mic inputs are xlr and trs inputs combines in one (if I'm not mistaken) :)

  • would this compatible with windows 7?

  • yes compatible

  • It is, but Cubase LE 4, which it comes with, is NOT.

  • @whisperingvenus This unit is not compatible with windows 7 64 bit I experienced a lot of problems. I always need to unplug/ replug when I start my computer and it often stop outputting audio. The audiobox is also very loud my input knobs are at 0 and I have a LOT of gain. This thing is just garbage I returned it and bought the Focusrite Saffire 6 usb.

  • can i get this hooked up with my mpc 1000?

  • ya just through the midi in and out

  • could somebody tell me if this is a good product??? i'm really about to buy it but i don't know if it will work fine.

I'll probably use it on VISTA....

  • yes in work on XP an mac

  • It's good, but the fast track pro is better

  • well, if ur just recording mics, then its almost perfect, but im not going to buy it because theres no guitar inputs, and i want at least 2 mics and 2 guitars. so im going to go with a Firebox. but usually anything from presonus is good

  • @adamsvette what are you talking about? of course you can. Look closely.

  • @Proghead88 Are you sure? Because I'm about to buy it and the most thing I intend to use is the guitar.

It really comes with Cubase? Is it easy to use or it's very hard and professional like Pro Tools and Logic?

  • does it work for mac?

  • of course man

  • @EskimAron rather, does it work AT ALL

  • presonus makes decent boxes.

check out the profire series. personally i think the pres are much cleaner.

  • Mine works GREAT!!!!!!

    I Love PreSonus Products :)

  • Really? I just got mine.

Can you kinda help me with it? hahaha

How do you use the mixer?

  • with mine, i tried to use only one channel and it only records the right audio

i can't get one channel to record both left and right

do you have to use two mics or is there a way to solve this?

    thanks

  • did you ever fix that and hows the latency on it

  • I just ordered this, i hope it works for vista64

  • it doesn't, i tried

  • i just got it.....so far it works with x32 :P

  • Audio box isnt a good buy right now. I have it and it doesnt work properly. it just clicks and plops All the time, and the asio dont work properly either.

  • its prob. a problem with your cabling or editing.

    jitter.

  • nice price

  • hi, can I use this for djing with abletone live...I need the two channels splited.

  • Nice. I use the FireBox, and it's awesome! I'd like to try this one out.
