  • I did this on a candy cane for a friend ^_^

    Now i can tie prettyful ribbons Mwhehehehe >:D

  • @MirroTea Yey good for you, its one of those things thats easier to get the hang of when you see it done.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! I am trying to decorate a vase with ribbon and have been struggling.

  • @sillypinkie

    You are most welcome, I'm sure if you go slow you will have a beautiful bow on your vase, would love to see the result. Wire edged ribbon is good if you want a bow to hold its shape. You can also bend and curl the ends to where ever you like then too ;)

  • I could listen to that voice all day long, love that accent! Oh, and love the ribbon too!

  • @Louellamarierose

    Hi Louella

    Thanks. It's funny isn't it, I always think my voice sounds terrible {blushes}

  • I love the supply inventory at the beginning of the video. Then I like the tip you gave regarding the ribbon spool and the roll of tape. And finally your material list at the end of the video made it a nice finishing touch. Very professional. Very organized. Most engineers will envy your style. Keep up the great work. Cheers!

  • Hi

    Try practicing on long lengths of ribbon ,or the laces in your shoes for a while. Get the hang of the technique where you can see what you are doing ;)

    That should make things easier for you.

  • Beautiful tutorial,thank´s for sharing..JLaura

  • Hi ChelleBB

    My tip is to practice this technique on shoe laces, the flat kind, so they are eaier to get to stay still. Leave them on the shoe ;)

    When you first try this with ribbon, go for plenty of ribbon and work up to shorter lengths ;)

    Thanks for your comment

  • I always need an extra pair of hands when I do bows, will have to give this one a shot and see how I got! TFS
