  • DAE think, American men got the most manliest, deep, sensible voice of them all. 'Under-appreciated globally' but 'I know your worth'

  • cool

  • cool

  • Dear whoever made the bill S.978...

Die. This copyright nonsense will only spark a riot.

Yours truly, video gaming reviewers everywhere.

  • Start by asking the rich to sacrifice. The working poor have sacrificed enough. The nations backbone, its workers, its military citizens... all have given their blood and wages. Considering they have their blood and treasure, start with them, then we'll talk about cutting entitlements to the young, the poor, the middle class and the elderly. With that being done, I am sure smart compromise can be achieved, America is pretty good at that.

  • PEACE AND LOVE

  • ... next generation. Politicians are going to have to make drastic spending cuts regardless of the effect on their reputations. Everyone will hate them for it and they risk losing their jobs, but this is a necessary step to take if we are ever going to get our national debt under control. That being said, I think we need to give it a little more time before we start making drastic cuts so that the economy doesn't slump back into a recession.

  • Both defense and social program spending are going to have to be cut to make any significant reduction in the deficit. People wont like it. Major protests broke out in France after the retirement age was raised, in the UK after university tuition was raised, and in Wisconsin when union rights were abolished. All of these policies were an attempt to balance budgets. The general population doesn't like this idea. They want to keep running up the national debt and leave their problems for the...

  • Tax the corporations!!!!!! Tax tax tax tax tax them!!!

  • Free Energy

  • WE NEED THE PUBLIC OPTION... every civilized country has a form of one,People before profits...Let the Bush tax cuts expire,I'd rather have to pay more than allow the rich afree ride, they already have too many loop-holes to get away with not paying their fair share.Since when do we give tax cuts during a time of war and borrow the money from another country to pay for it!!! WHERE"S THE SACRIFICE??? IT's plain ass stupid

  • Annihilate military spending, XE (Blackwater), new fighter engines never to be used, covert things Americans don't support, etc. Leave the Middle East; take Israel off the rolodex too. Tell the rest of the world, including big corporations, Americans don't like "welfare" as long as one malnourished/homeless is in America. Big governement is nice when it's not corrupt of inefficient and focused on the will of the people. Embrace the Constitution and Bill of Rights for a change. That is all.

  • I heard Tim Geithner and Obama are latent homosexuals! Do you think thats true?

  • Well let me see i would suggest, cutting our representatives pay for doing a horrible job. Cut this new "Medical Reform". Medicare should go. O congress should only be able to spend what it actually has!!!

  • Disgusting SEIU and 100's of new gov. agencies with cush retirement paying more than they ever earned while working. Demand local gov's trim their staffs and unneccesary assistants and fluff or they don't get fed. money. That's just a start. STOP manipulating the general sense of risk/reward. Big timers know they'll get bailed out so lose sense of real risk. The poor see the game is rigged and they have no incentive to try, work, save, hope for bright secure future.

    Expose "progressives".

  • Get rid of Lobbiest and learn to work out things in a bi-partisan manner

  • budget priorities? how about personal budget priorities for those who will not be RE-ELECTED come november? over 70% of americans did not support the healthcare bill, according to rasmussen and a few other pollsters....so, why do i suspect ANYTHING that is posted here will really matter? tell me that.

  • Remove big money from congress!

    1. Election reform, remove corporate funding for campaigns, also we didn't forget Florida.

    2. Fix the entitlement programs so we can balance the budget and start to pay down our dept.

    3. Send many people to jail, probe the big banks for corruption, find out what happened and then reform wall street nationally and then globally, (the UN.)

    4. Jobs

    5. Follow the UK, probe the Iraq war. Why were we there. If something was corrupt, charge them with WAR CRIMES.

  • It sure is quiet around here.

  • In this order: Education, Military, research for alternate energy, National debt/stabilizing economy, Terrorism, Government corruption, regulating the stock market/ reforming the tax system, Healthcare, International aid to war/disaster stricken countries, International Policy involving dictators and genocide...it goes on and on. I'm sure if the Congress and Senate took a pay cut we would be far better off. We need to get the head (government) screwed on right if we mean to make any progress.

  • Budget = Print and Spend, fuck the government Obama and all his chronies are pieces of shit.

  • ...AS USUAL, NOT TOO MUCH ACTUAL DISCUSSION GOING ON. Nothing matters to this administration. Budget=Print more....

  • NONE. Fuck off and read some Milton Friedman.

  • @JackBursh I second that, Jack!!!!! Quit askin' dumbass questions. You know, inside, what's important and what is frills. What you want to do is pretend like you're listening to the people. Start looking at the budget in a conservative manner. (Not as in conservative vs. liberals) just quit all the wasteful crap, the pandering giveaways, instill a climate conducive to small & mid business, quit favoring the big union/ gov. "employees".

  • Public Option!

  • The Budget That Refers To This Nation Word For Word And Washington,D.C. Sticks By It And Not Misconstrueing It By Any Means!!! Nine9eniN

  • BALANCE IT!!! GEEZ !!! is it so hard to stop spending money we don't have?? is it really the governments job to run everything??!?!? i personally think that politicians have run out of real stuff to do in DC... and are struggling to think of new laws and bills to make up so that they can justify them having jobs! sometimes less is more..... i wonder if every aging generation feels this way...

  • Attached video.

  • money should go to the places that get a return, or not stolen at all from the working taxpayers.

  • I pray for you all everyday and thank you for your service, but my biggest budget priority is that you keep your hands off my budget and let me determine it, and stop passing laws about where my money goes and leave that up to me.

  • I support a single-payer system as in S 703 & HR 676. I would settle for a robust public plan to compete with private insurance. If the private sector is so efficient & innovative there should be no concerns; business should welcome the challenge.

  • On september 11-12, 2009 all corrupt government, media and corporate officials will be taken out in the mass citizens arrest dragnet for violation of the logan act and for committing treason against the united states and people of the world.

  • strike the US government. Harass public officials and strike fear into their families. Take them all out.

  • Education is the biggest priority for the brightest future of this country.

  • National healthcare is the most important issue. The US needs single payer UNIVERSAL healthcare like other civilized countries. Americans are fooled and misinformed by a barage of right wing extremist propaganda and at the same time US corporations can't compete on the world market against companies that don't have this burden.

  • Stop the socialism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Central Economic Planning does not work!

    END THE FEDERAL RESERVE

  • Remove the influence of "the money men of NY" in our political processes (CFR, Trilateral, other). Stop taking campaign contributions which could possibly be interpreted as "bribes", i.e. Goldman Sachs. Restore the political process as our founding fathers intended it. The people are waking up.

  • youtube is great for shedding light on the incompetent boobs in government

  • Politicans are con artists. They tell us one thing and then do what the lobbist say do since the supplement their income with the pork projects. I say we need term limits for all politicians and kick the them out of office. Iam reaaly pissed where is my bail out my tax relief. They have hijacked the government with bail outs, bonuses, tax cuts that did not trickle down .come on AMERICAMNS take our democracy back.

  • You spelled Americans wrong. You lose all credibility.

  • All of them, cut out everything. Just protect my rights and our country and stop all other programs.

For God's sake, we can take of ourselves just fine.

  • budget priorities????? your joking right

  • Budget??

    It's bottom and topless!

How can you deal with that?

Add that I'm sure some careless pyro is gonna want my kids to die for his budget.

  • Considering you guys havent logged in in over a week. I dont think us commenting is going to make a difference. I am a disabled Iraq war veteran and i truly believe My government has forgotten about me..

  • The first thing we need to do is STOP spending money. It just seems to be used as a bandaid for everything. We all know it is not a cure all.

We should NOT cut the military. We are superior to every country in this respect. We need to keep it strong for the sake of our security and safety

  • explain to me how we are going to stop spending money and keep our military strong??????? think about what you said

  • It's pretty siple. We need to stop spending like were playng Monopoly, which we all know won't ha[en nder this watch.

This is obvious when you consider that we may end up four trillion dollars in debt this year. As long as we're passing dollars out like play money (ex. bailing out the newspapers) I gave Congressan Ryan a suggestion which would help insure the safety of our country. I'm not advocating spending trillions of dollars, just don't cut it to the bones.

  • ABOLISH THE GOVERNMENT

  • Budget? What Budget. The first thing on the list of priorities is for Congress and Mr. Obama to understand that money does not grow like grass. Stop fleecing the people, and lower taxes.

  • Congress needs to stop spending and start balancing. Re-evaluate every program, department, agency, fox house and henhouse of government.. There is obscene waste all around, not to mention gross incompetence.

Why does your public school system spend more per student than any of the top 21 countries but the students rank 19-20? Pathetic! Because the money never reaches the classroom. Its wasted on bureaucracy and special interests. The kids deserve better. Teachers, too. Clean it up!

  • No earmarks! Less taxation! We need to fund our defense not cut it! And there's no way we can sustain health care for everyone, give incentives to insurance companies to lower rates, the government cannot do it correctly or well. Stop bank bail outs, let the great thrive and new ones be created instead of pumping life into something that's dead! Transparency and give the people who voted you in your seats a chance to see it before you vote on it!

  • wow 13 more dollars in our paycheck {for the ones still working... let's see I can buy a used ticket stub on ebay from a game played at the new stadium that the mets play at named CITICORP...Or maybe

I can turn up the heat in my house for one night that's been off more than on cause of the high cost and since my small income on a pension is over 200 dollars from standards set in 1990 , i can't get help.. Wall st stay warm with out taxdollars

  • we need now a tax break for more in our wallets to spend in business big and small that how things will grow in this country. help out places like AIG,BANK of america if the 40 hour average person does not have the spending money to even keep them a float do they get another bailout again, hope you enjoyed your vacation as the country suffers washington thinks citicorp, bank of america ,aig is more important then the underpaid overtax working american family

  • Congressman Ryan et al, no company is too big to fail. The biggest corporate bitch of all, the Federal Gov, is one huge freaking failure and you lumps of crap in Congress are making it worse every day.

I ask you, Tim Ryan: did you vote for the Bankruptcy Act of 2009 (aka Obama's Budget Outline)? If you did, then you deserve to be tossed out on your fat ass, much like that pig Pelosi. Screw all of you for selling this country down the toilet to appease that lump of shit in the white house.

  • You asking our Republician's or are you entertaining us with "Change We Can Believe In or ELSE !!!"?

  • Apparently, expenditures on education have been insufficient to afford this Congressman the knowledge to properly use title capitalization rules.

Now, moving to the business at hand, a modest amount of money should be spent for the prosecution of high government officials like Ben Bernanke, whose gross negligence in controlling the growth of the illiquid money aggregates M2 and M3 were principally causal in the financial crisis that finally came to a head last year.

    Show some guts, sir.

  • Cut taxes!!!

No payroll tax for at least a year. It would be even better if you all would eliminate payroll taxes, income taxes, death taxes, etc. We should have a fair tax, based on consumption NOT production.

Stop forcing social agendas on the American people through the "green" movement.

Stop interfering with the market. The more you all try to "fix" the economy, the worse it gets.

    FOLLOW THE U.S. CONSTITUTION!!

It's not that hard, really. Just read it for a change!

  • I love what you said mariekemph!!!! Very Well Stated !!! Sales tax, that should be the ONLY tax... if you can buy, then you can support the government! If these representatives are really in it for US, then they should be reading ALL these comments !! And know we DON"T WANT MORE BAILOUTS !!! Down size this fat hog of a government that has gone out of control! And now I read that Pelosi is wanting to tax retirement money !! GeeZ, does the fun never end for them?

  • TRY to get the goverment and double taxation out of lives!Obama and his cronies are the kind of people that Tax every man, woman and their child to deficate in department store restrooms! Tarp is giving money to failed business's to hold and raise interest rates! Tax payer money now! They get it for 0% free and will lead it back to us someday 18-30% interest! Sin taxes for the poor uneducated ; smoker's and all the while raising food prices and consumer good's! CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN!

  • i am sorry for my lack of review. i did not spell check my work

  • This nation needs to check its priorities. That child who is growing up in the broken home is the future of our nation. Our future isn't looking to good if he is witnessing divorce, abuse, lack of education, and social retardation (video games). Therefore if we invest in anything, it sould be the great American families. In ths time of finantial crisis we need to go back to the basics, and rebuild our cracked fondation by investing in the most important part of America, familes.

  • FAMILY VALUES!!!!!!! -education -benifits for single moms - benifits for married couples -drug pervention -home energy alternatives -family health care -child poverty

The list can go on and on.

  • None of that is the government's responsibility - aka MY TAX DOLLARS.

Cultural problems should be solved by individuals in their own communities.

Lyndon B. Johnson's "The War on Poverty" is perhaps one of the biggest scams in American history.

Stop paying for single moms to have more babies. Is that hard to keep your legs closed? Stop using drugs and/or just don't do it. I never did, and I wasn't considered a dork in high school. In fact, I was respected for my beliefs. Shocker!

  • i agree with what you are stating but how many ppl are doing this, NO, how many ppl KNOW what morals are? family values are values for the FAMILIES, you can't tell a girl to close her legs without having a role model to show her how to keep them closed. Have you been to poorer uban areas? NO, have you EXPERIENCED poorer areas? if we invest in households/ in keeping familes together/ in drug and sex prevention, then we will see a better nation, and inturn (many years later) will see a better govt

  • Education! You can never leave that out of the budget discussion. We contribue so little to it and expect so much in return. I was raised to believe you get out what you put in, so I believe in order to make the type of education report Obama wants, we need to fund No Child Left Behind more.

  • When you compare the rest of our economy, account for inflation, etc. We have spent more on education in the last 40 years than any other government programs and wars.

It is a myth that we don't spend enough on education. Get the federal govt. out of education, and let parents be in charge - you will see better educated children.

  • How, who and what is it really for? Too much is not being told to the American people, and what is heard from the government are mostly flies. I'm losing my trust in the elected body of this government...it's all a game to you and in the meantime, people starve, lose their homes, lose their jobs and lose hope. Stop lying to the American people. Stop playing the parent role to the world. We put you in your positions to work for us and NOT against us.

#1 priorities: Health care, jobs, truth!

  • and lastly, because of the previous two we cannot take care of ourselves despite the fact that our country puts more into healthcare than any other nation. I'd like to see the benefits in my tax dollars by knowing that if i break my leg tomorrow, I won't have to simply live with it, and assurance that my friends and family will enjoy the same fair and equal treatment.

  • I'd like to note that we no longer measure the health and wellbeing of our nation by simple GDP but rather measurements in literacy, unemployment, and the population's health. with that in mind look at the facts: we're ranked 26th in education- how can we make good policies when our people are not well educated? Our employment rates have dropped drastically while we have record breaking numbers of millionaires.

  • Energy Alternatives. + adhering to the Kyoto Protocol. (yes, I know we haven't ratified it, but it's our perogative to adhere if we so choose).

    Education.

Don't cut corporate taxes or taxes for people making over 200,000.

Cut taxes for those making under 100,000.

    Thank you.

  • Here's another idea, don't support HR 932. That's not the job of the federal government.

  • Here's some ideas:

    1. Stop spending money that you don't have.

    2. Stop all the pet projects that are not the federal government's responsibility.

    3. Read the Constitution.

    4. Abolish the Federal Reserve.

    5. Cut taxes on Corporations, to encourage job growth.

    6. Cut taxes on capital gains, to encourage investment in the stock market.

    7. Stop making it so expensive to run a business in the US, which is why corporations are going overseas.

    8. Do not fund energy alternatives, that's not your job.

  • Your ideas are what we need to get this country going again. The only change I would make is make idea 3 number 1

  • I agree, with your number one. i don't care how awsome something might be, if you don't have the money too bad. you can't buy it. because if you do buy it, it means eventually my taxes will go up, and nothing is so great that its worth an increase in taxes.

  • I'm sorry I'm just not buying the green thing It still just sounds like a scare tactic used to support statist power grabs from global bueacracy.

  • The judicial and correctional systems in this country need to be completely revamped. The way we are waging the war on drugs is completely absurd and detrimental. Sending someone to jail for being an addict is completely counter-intuitive and will result only in recidivism. Our corrections facilities are not rehabilitative at all, or even correctional--they are training grounds for future criminals and create an environment that is irreconcilable with a healthy lifestyle once released.

  • Beautifully worded and I agree 100%. I think it is also imperative that we expropriate all privately owned prisons. It's absolutely absurd and frightening that we have privately owned correctional institutions. The state of our judicial system is horrifying, costly, and quite obviously, ineffective.

  • Energy Alternatives, Energy Alternatives and Energy Alternatives.

    Did I mention Energy Alternatives?

Remember how Obama got elected? A lot of people got a little information at the same time? Remember how we get and share files now? Bitorrent? A lot of bits get grabbed from different people at the same time? Imagine using that same principle to energy! From the smallest homes to the largest. Solar Supplemental panels and Geothermal heating Units. Fund these and heavily tax credit ! ! !

  • Not only is a green initiative necessary for saving the world and preserving the human species, it will also be the best way to invest in job creation that will lift us out of these poor economic times. This is heavily tied in with education as well. We need to teach children useful things in their lives--such as how to live a sustainable lifestyle--and encourage students to enter into fields linked to green technologies.

  • Global warming is a scam. The Earth has cooled in the last 10 years, the polar ice caps are not melting, and polar bears are fine.

No, not everyone should have the opportunity to go to college on tax payer's money. If they want to go to college and can't afford it, maybe they should get a job and pay for it!

    Don't listen to John Stewart.

    Although, we can agree on:

"No company should be too big to fail." and "The government should be as small as possible."

  • If everyone in the world lived as Americans do, then the world as we know it would be over. Icecaps melted, oceans devoid of all but the most adaptable life, air unfit to breathe. We have to learn to make sacrifices and live in ways that are consistent with a world picture of bringing everyone up to our level. Cutting energy consumption, shutting down coal plants, investing heavily in renewable energy, quadrupling MPG requirements, building nuclear plants, etc. are all necessary for our survival

  • Perhaps the most important thing of all should be a green energy initiative. If we don't take drastic action now, it will be too late. The world as we know it will be over, and the kind of lives we are living now are completely unsustainable. We need huge initiatives to encourage the development of alternative energy and to make tremendous life style changes. Americans for some reason believe we are entitled to live in a way that would be impossible for any one else in the world to live.

  • Everyone who wants to go to college should be able to go to college.

No company should be too big to fail. The government is the only entity in a nation that should be too big to fail--and even then the government should be as small as it can be in order to do the many things required of it.

The stock market needs to be heavily monitored and regulated. As John Stewart has said "It's not a fucking game." Short-selling and other abuses should be illegal.

  • But that is not the biggest priority for me. Education is a huge priority. We need big time reform of the public education system, and I know that the federal government has less to do with that than the state governments do, but I think it should be a big priority. Everyone should be brought to a point where they can succeed. We're forcing countless (largely poor) children into lives that are demeaning and unfulfilling. We can do better and we must do better.

  • Yes, we need to be concerned with good fiscal management and not spend money where it does not need to be spent--I would particularly be concerned with the military portion of the budget here, as I know billions and billions of dollars go to waste here, and nobody knows where the money goes, while soldiers are on the ground with insufficient materials, and get back home with insufficient support from the VA. There's a lot that can be cut here, and a lot to be gained with proper reinvestment.

  • I have believe education has been on the back for years as compared to foreign affairs, business, and taxes. Barely any politician speaks about higher education in their platform or bring any hope for tackling the problem with education. It is a big subject but just in my case, colleges higher tuition and lower federal assistance. Postponement of classes due to lack of funds to pay off the current semester. Also, there's more I just can't fit it all here. Education.

  • I am a student in Indiana, and I think that education is a huge priority in the budget. The school I go to has one of the highest test grades for a public school in the state, but we also have an extremely low budget.

  • Companies that are too big to fail only proves they have a monopoly and that the government is helping them remain so. I guess anti-trust only matters if you're not fattening the pockets of politicians.

We need to remove any legislation that enables these companes so that they can be broken down into manageable pieces that allows competition and a true free-enterprise market to exist.

  • Publicly funded elections paid for by a $10/year federal tax on employees.

  • Beware of such ideas. Those election funds tend to provide insider advantages to incumbents and shuts down access to newcomers looking to break into politics.

  • then, once we have tariffs up and thousands of small corporations (break all of the large ones up!!), we strip them of their civil rights (which is a misread of a clerk's notes of a Supreme Court case decision in 1893) and we tax them fairly. Corporations only pay about 7% of the total budget, while middle class Americans are picking up most of it.

Roll back the Reagan Tax cuts.

Pass the Employee Free Choice Act.

Fund Education and give Medicare to all Americans as an alternative choice.

  • Why would I want my family to pay most of the taxes? Middle-class is very misleading. My family is middle class, but they can barely afford to send my brother and I to state colleges! Tax the rich, the affluent, the ones who have extra money to throw around, not those struggling.

  • We need to reinstitute trade tariffs, use the Sherman Anti-Trust Act to break up the Big 3 Auto companies into the little 24. Break up the Big Banks. Nationalize the Federal Reserve as a part of the Treasury Department. Pass a constitutional amendment that adds the words ", print paper money, electronic money, and all other forms of currency" after "Congress has the power to coin money". You guys figure out the exact wording, I'm just a computer programmer, not a constitutional lawyer.

  • 1. Cut all aid to foriegn countries... you cant buy friendship and loyalty.

    2. Kill all reasearch grants... STDs are caused by careless sex which is caused by dummies who are probably on welfare.

    3. Impeach Nobama!!!

  • Are you kidding me? Are you twelve? Did you even stop to consider your response before you posted? I can't possibly imagine you could be saying this seriously.

  • NOBAMA! haha, i love that.

  • If y'all wasn't so corrupted,ya wouldn't hafta ask suuch questions.

    Ya hear?

  • You're deliberately bankrupting our country to force the people to go to UNJUSTIFIED wars...ENOUGH!!!

  • typically wars help the economy and if the States were to go bankrupt, we'd take every country down with us

  • End the dam wars...El CIAda is in pakistan , we gotta attack 'em! El CIAda is in Iran, we gotta attack 'em! El CIAda is in my pants! We gotta attack them! enough bullshit please...Afgan was about the Rothschild Heroin and opium produce, Iraq was for control over the middle east as is Iran stop dressing these up as noble purposes you lying jerks.

  • I have no clue what you're trying to say but "El CIAda" is spelled Alqaeda. It's not a South American country. Why would we ever care about opium produce in a foreign country

  • bahaha.

  • Cut as much of the budget as possible, get the government out of everything, and spend the most money on the people who are dependent on government programs already. Cut foreign aid and military spending and stop giving away taxpayer money!

  • Dear Friend,

    You are forgetting Keynes.

  • Keynes sucks. Mises FTW.

  • I think the house should pay off our debt and fix this economic mess

Quit making more bills that I'M going to have to pay off to China....assholes

  • Fix the god damn economy I dont give a shit about the health care system I dont care if it gives everyone in america cancer JUST FUCKING FIX THE ECONOMY

  • i'd like to see advances in more affordable energy, and someone else mentioned jobs-which i'm not too certain the govt has so much control over anyways-not without spening oodles of tax payers money, which is a diminishing cycle.. very nasty-tax reform that doesn't kill the middle class-which is largely working single mothers, but also doesn't scare away all our companies to china, which is where the jobs are going.

  • Jobs-Jobs -Jobs If people are not working nothing else matters. Floks can't care about the enviorment or world events or anything If we can't pay bills. We as a nation need to make things hitec are great but the common worker needs a living wage at a job that means something. Get off wall streets back. Keep gas prices low. If factorys are to close make it the over seas factorys keep ours open. But most of all stop trying to run our lives. Remember you govern you don't rule!!

  • Universities. There's no reason why anyone should pay more than $10,000 a year for school.

Fix it. Education should not be a business.

  • Social Security needs reforming, too much comes from us young people just to payoff some older retirees.

  • 1) healthcare

    2) energy/carbon tax

    3) financial system reform, oversight & trust busting

  • Universal healthcare! What delivers the best healthcare for the lowest cost?

The answer is obvious: a single-payer plan.

A thousand half-way measures just wastes time and money. Get it done!

Businesses are suffering. Parents are suffering.

  • MUSTS FOR THE BUDGET:

    - Huge increases in funding for alternative energy (wind/solar/geothermal) for both grid production and automobiles/mass

    transit

    - Un-watered down Cap & Trade system to spur the increase in businesses using clean energy. Any money they spend to convert to solar/wind will be made back when other companies that don't convert have to pay them to use their credits.

    - Healthcare reform, expansion of Medicaid, HR 676, competing gov't plan

    - Smart education investments

  • For christ's sake, MAKE THE BUDGET SMALLER! I'm sick of hearing how this is going to be the biggest budget in history! Over and over again, Obama is lying to us! I'm tired of the socialist agenda, I don't want to pay for it when I'm older! Stop passing bills wasting our hard-earned money and stop printing more money! We're not idiots! We know that printing more money doesn't make us have more money, it makes the money we have worth less! Stop the acts- do something worthwhile. This is a fiasco.

  • Your first name is Rush, isn't it.

  • Actually, no. My first name is Marlowe. : D

  • Marlowe, it is wonderful to see someone your age so politically passionate. I hope that your point of view is really your point of view and not one you've heard over and over on AM radio. Those people are employed by the very corporations that have financially molested this country unchecked thruout the last administration. Sadly, this country has been raped by capitalism. There is no honor on Wall street, only corruption and greed. We have to change. Study Marlow, and make yourself great.

  • ^.^ actually, I hate politics. I just care about people and politics screw over people.

  • Why do you go through the show of asking us? You only do what your handlers tell you to do. Your handlers are the Federal Reserve.

  • yea, I've got a question; what's the best wheelbarrel to purchase for hauling my American dollars around in when deflation catches up to the spending going on at capitol hill? How about purposing a bill that subsidises American citizens wheelbarrels and/or carts. I have a feeling we're gonna need em

  • How about ending the 2 illegal wars and closing the 700 bases in 130 countries we have going? That would be a nice start. Even if you don't care about all the people we are killing, at least we can save money not doing it. Then we can end the war on drugs and save billions more and we can start growing hemp and saving forests and making biodiesel without damaging the topsoil. Then think of the taxes to be made on Pot alone.

  • NASA--- get us the hell off this religion infested rock!

  • why did i subscribe again?

  • I asked myself the same question...

  • Priority number 1: Please stop putting all these TENS of TRILLIONS of dollars of debt on us and our fellow neighbors. We are having a hard enough time as it is, and now we are losing what we have fought and bled for; our freedom. We do not want to bailout companies that failed; as no one bails us out when we enter into contract and do not oblige. We are held responsible just as these investment firms should be.

  • Penis

  • we need school so people Can work,

We need Jobs that produce long lasting products and keep the money generated from sales (at least) in the United States, if not in the local area of production (so as to insure future production)

Oh and FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY STOP PRINTING MONEY YOU LOONS!

  • No sound on this video!!!

  • PART-3) ... LEARN WHAT BROUGHT ON THE ECONOMY CRISIS:

In Sept. 2007 the new DEMOCRATIC Congress trying to mitigate, overrode Bushs veto & passed HR-6124 / S-2058 finally closing the ENRON LOOPHOLE after 7 years.

But the harm was already done and it would lead to the present Economy Crisis & the need for Stimulus Packages.

  • Part-1) ... THE US ECONOMY EXPLAINED IN LAYMAN TERMS:

2000~BUSH & the REPUBLICAN Congress started a fire to our HOUSE & allow it to burn down.

2007~New DEMOCRATIC Congress with only 1 majority vote couldn't stop that 7 YRS OLD FIRE. They were always BLOCKED by BUSH & the REPUBLICANS.

2009~Hypocrite REPUBLICANS now blame DEMOCRATS for not putting out THEIR fire.

  • Part-2) ... THE US ECONOMY EXPLAINED ...

2009~DEMOCRATS using our Money are cleaning up the ashes & rebuilding our HOUSE with Smoke Alarms & Sprinkler System to prevent it from happening again.

WE THE PEOPLE are working with PRESIDENT OBAMA & the DEMOCRATIC PARTY ... because ... WE THE PEOPLE understand that it takes MORE TIME ... MORE WORK ... MORE MONEY ... to rebuild a HOUSE from the ground up, stronger than before ... than it was for the GOP to let it burn down to the ground.

  • PART-1) ... LEARN WHAT BROUGHT ON THE ECONOMY CRISIS:

BUSH was (elected??) Nov. 2000. -- Dec. 2000 the REPUBLICAN Congress rushed (Without Debate) ... Bill HR-5660 / S-3283 ... [ The Commodity Futures Modernization Act ] ... the so-called ENRON LOOPHOLE ... drafted by Enron lawyers.

This drastic Bill AMENDED Securities & Banking Laws, REMOVED Federal Regulations & Oversight and gave a free-hand to greedy entities, to REGULATE & POLICE THEMSELVES !!

  • PART-2) ... LEARN WHAT BROUGHT ON THE ECONOMY CRISIS:

This would lead to abuse & price-gouging ... Enron Downfall, Big Oils $4.00 price at the pump, Mortgage Crisis and Wall Street Financial Collapse.

All having been heavy contributors to the Republican Party electoral campaigns.

From 2000-2006, Democratic legislators introduced legislation to close the loophole, but were repeatedly blocked by Bush & the Republican Congress.

  • I think we need to spend money on LOTSA SPAGHETTI!!!!

  • I think 5-8 billion should go to a veterans small business program. It would stimulate one of the most important sectors of the economy (small Business) and give back to the soldiers who have given so much.

  • everyone is jsut do damn greedy in my opion, i think you should be working on paying the nations debt, wherther is obama or bushes 700b plan or obama 400b earmark plan.. wich has cuasae this nation to go trillions in debt.. i think the priority should be to get back above.. i don't wanna lose my freedom cuase i we can pay our bills....

  • Priotities? Cut spending, cut entitlements, CUT GOVERNMENT to hell, cut taxes, and cut the pay of all politicians to ZERO because that is all any of you are worth to society - and that is being generous.

  • The budget Priorities that matter to me are the individual states budget short falls in education and infrastucture. I think the states should get a bailout to keep teachers employed and build more roads.

  • Defense Spending!!!!

  • The ONLY thing we should be spending our money is fully automated clean cities where we can move away from a monetary society.

This MUST happen in the coming years, and will be such an enormous project we should begin construction NOW.

Robots and Artificial Intelligence WILL replace the human work force in the next 20 years.

We can build an open and free society void of social class barriers NOW!

  • With all the wonderful technology we have, why is life still a struggle?

Where did we lose our efficiency?

Utopia IS the goal of every human on the planet, and yet not one of our politicians are talking about it.

    Check out "The Venus Project"

  • End the wars. The "War on Terror", the "War on Drugs", et al.

  • I have few suggestion for you. First, work toward to eliminate unnecessary welfare loophole. I have known many people are playing with the system. Second, get rid off toxic asset as soon as possible. Third, freeze the mortgage for the people who are currently unemployed and underemployed, it will reduce homelessness. Fourth, try to bring the balance sheet in the balance. Fifth, focus to create long lasting job. Sixth, make legal assistant license, which will generate jobs and take care of ADC

  • You guys know that you are supposed to comment on the channel not this video, right?

  • Middle class tax cut, and upper class tax raise. Definitely most important. The more socialist America becomes the better.

  • The cost of a college education. affordable healthcare. tax cuts for the middle class. Tax cuts for the wealthiest and trickle down doesn't work.

  • And teach the rest of the GOP to be better actors, especially Boehner and the sleezy as piece of corrupt s*it ERIC CANTOR!! everyone can see right through them all!

  • We always claim America is the greatest country in the world, well its time for us to start making that true because when you look at the numbers I can name quite a few countries that are way ahead of us on all points! The measure of a nation should not be how powerful our military is or how wealthy the top 5% are, but in the way we take care of and advance our citizens with stable lives and open possibilities!

  • I want to be able to walk into a hospital where they don't turn a single one of my countrymen or their children away from care they may need to survive!

  • virtually what I want to see 10 years from now, is an energy independent America based on alternative energy, not drilling the f*ck out our country for OIL and ruining our environment or the eco-system! I want to see the sons and daughter of janitors, waitresses, farmers, and all those who keep this country running but aren't fortunate enough to make a high-wage for themselves, attending college and getting the education they need to build a better life and career!

  • aloha and mahalo from hawaii ... i want to see cannabis called by its right name and legalized decriminalized and regulated so i can live alittle longer without fear of being handcuffed or tazed ...xoxnanette

  • we don't need an economy that grows mountains of wealth at the top and doesn't benefit the whole of the country! we need a new system that really does unite both the upper, middle, and lover classes! one that is stable, recycles money back into itself, and works for the well being of every single one of us!

  • next stop calling Tax cuts for the middle class socialism! the way I see it giving big corporations that make millions upon billions every year is just as much a socialist ideology, it just favors the wealthy and not the workers who actually have to worry about their futures day to day, year by year, as college tuition costs and health insurance costs sky rocket and their pay checks get smaller and smaller every cycle!

  • we need a free market but one that is regulated enough to make sure everyone in this country gets a fair piece of the pie here! that means no more f*cking TAX CUTS at the top of the class tier! you can claim all you want that trickle-down economics works but it never ever does, becuase you can't force buisnesses to Trickle it down to the rest of us without regulations!

  • And stop trying to turn every single thing that is needed for the well being of the people over to the private-sector! HEALTH, EDUCATION, JOB SECURITY, AND FAIR-SUTIBLE WAGES are not somthing i trust in the hands of CEO's whos only interest is making more money at any cost...including the lively-hood of American citizens!

  • How about you Republican retards STOP trying to halt progress in this country! we need some form of nationalized inexpensive and all inclusive healthcare in this country! i don't care if we have the best doctors in this nation, they are worthless if not everyone of my countrymen can afford to see them!

  • aids is funny rofl

  • Cut out no-bid contracts from paramilitary conglomerates. Are you watching the current season of 24? Jon Voight's character runs one of those groups and is killing people left and right! Same with Shooter, contractors get more privileges than our soldiers. And please, cancel Infraguard's contract with the FBI, I only trust corrupt people with badges, not corrupt rent-a-cops with a "Get out of jail free!" card for anything.

    Also, budgets.

  • What does Ryan here, take us for? As far as education, think. 1951 we were the smartest nation in the world with Russia in a distant 2nd place. As of 2001 we ranked in 26th in youth education, & that's only IF your kids could count that high.

Get rid of the Dept of Education.

$500 Billion (& climbing) have been spent fighting the war on drugs, and sending non-violent drug users to 10+ prison terms.

While at the same time, the USA could be making $77 billion in tax revenues.

    Legalize Pot.

  • Oh gawd please stop, your messiah stated that no he's not going to legalize it.

And plus we have gotten ourselfs out of economic turmoil without legalizing pot in the past so why now.
