Mickey Mouse - Donald and Pluto (1936)

They should be a Donald Duck opening instead of a Mickey Mouse one because Mickey isn't this cartoon. This cartoon may takes place in Mickey's house and Mickey may hire Donald as a plumber to fix the pipes in his house and watch over Pluto while he's away.

Why was this introduced as a Mickey Mouse cartoon? He doesn't even appear in it. Shouldn't it be introduced as a Pluto or Donald Duck cartoon as they're the ones who star in this cartoon?

I do agree. These older mickey mouse cartoons are x100,000,000,000,000 times better than what we have today. I get so bored with the shows disney has on the air now, and I am always fascinated with these cartoons, because they are so cool, and they are much better animated. Theys seem thought out for a change, and they actually have a story to them.They aren't about relationship type stuff... That's ALL disney does now days. I am sick of it... litterally. .

Actually d4ysleeper, Donald and Pluto appeared together in an earlier cartoon called "On Ice". However, I'm pretty sure this is the first appearence of Donald and Pluto together without Mickey and the first cartoon to not be a Silly Symphony but also not have Mickey since his invention.
