  • do atari games work on colecovision?

  • Yeah! Nice video, i liked the sped up parts and the entire presentation in general.

Do you still collect or what?

  • great collection

  • PACMAN?

  • Nice collection! Wow, that ColecoVision is dusty.

  • right?

  • will you sell me some of the games reply back

  • no, as the games are NOT for sale. And if they were I would try to sell them as a lot, not individually. If I change my mind I will contact you privately, but don't hold your breath for long periods of time.

  • Great collection.

  • you need to clean that coleco man its all dusty and shit!! PRESERVE YOUR CLASSIC GAME CONSOLES!!!!!!

  • can a coleco vision game work for atari. the cartridge looks the same.

  • no, they actually are approximately the same size, but the chassis is a different and therefore will not work as cross-platform games. I am also fairly certain that the wafer is a different size. This is why the atari adapter is required to play Atari games on a Coleco system.

  • super

  • nice! I have a complete colecovision collection with ALL attachments and dust cover and many many games with boxes and manuals. FOR SALE if anyone is interested...will do private ebay auction...

  • i got an atari 2600 today its awasome

  • very, very cool!! I love those vinatge consoles and games from when I was a kid. I still have my colecovision, Intellivision and Atari(s)....

  • Thanks for watching!

  • do you have a LeStick?

  • No, and I think the only controller I have that is of Atari manufacture is the driving controller.

  • Very nice collection , can you restore the coleco vision? is dirty with dust...

I do a restoration , now my coleco is NEW, in all parts :).

    greetings from Argentina

  • True. I may have to wipe the console down with some Armor All at some point AND spritz some contact cleaner in some of the ports. As for the less than mint cartridge labels, I may have to try printing out some new ones and laminating them. check out the videos by user newcoleco, especially the one called How I make new Colecovision cartridges. Thanks for writing

  • Yes , i checked... in 2007 but here in Argentina is very expensive to buy a Eprom writer :(, and find exact eproms...

    it is sad for me...

    Greetings

  • cool, does the consel work on a modern tv?

  • It depends. The output on the Coleco system is a single jack that resembles an RCA jack. However, this jack carries the signal of the audio and video. A converter box was required which converted to coax. If you don't have the converter, yuo may be SOL, unless you did some tooling around to isolate the audio and video signals, but I am certain this would involve cracking the case and taking a trip to Radioshack.

  • I have posted a second video where I get into the accessories and joysticks, if you want to check it out.

Unfortunately, the converter in question was not accessible at the time of the filming.

I also noticed in revisiting my vintage collection that NES similarly had a separate, single audio and video outputs with RCA jacks, effectively making it a mono system.
