All these re-paints...Makes me think we shall be seeing the re-painted versions in season-4 of TFA, what makes me wonder is that fact that this Jazz has the normal Autobot symbol and not the elite guard symbol, and as we all know he left the gaurd in season3 to join the autobots.

this would also explane the elite guard bumblebee re-paint, since bumblebee would have been in the gaurd if not for protecting bulkhead.

Ordinary Autobrand is just his way to make undercover. He still remain an Elite Guard member. But I'd say grey couldn't make any harmony for the vehicle if not with licensed expensive sportscar from whoever. Only to remind us of one demised comrade in Bay's film.

I'd have liked this repaint better if fiction-wise they said it was in tribute to Prowl that Jazz darkened his paint. or even that he was in mourning... but the exclusion of the elite guard logo is great, it shows that even though Jazz left Cybertron for a good reason, he still had to be stripped of his rank for desertion of duty. Or that he's chosen to leave 1 or the other. Maybe he's going to run the ninjabotsu dojo now?

anyone here notice they messed up on the autobot emblem? yes its autobot, but its not eleite gaurd, of which, in animated, jazz is a member of.

Yeh I've noticed, however it does seem to be intentional - you can see the Autobot insignia being much larger and prominent than the Elite Guard insignia at 3:18~ish.

Perhaps that's to tie in with the original storyline before they decided to scrap TFA Season 4?

Wouldn't it have been bloody awesome to see Jazz actually giving up his Elite Guard status, and giving Sentinel the finger, to join Optimus on Earth?? I'm all for Jazz slamming his Elite Guard Wings on Sentinel's desk and walking off.
