  • dudes he has a medical condition thats why his hands are shaking.

    thanks anyway!

  • @MakMakSop I'm also holding the guitar at an extremely awkward angle for the camera the way I set it up.

  • Will anyone tell me the rythm of this song? I really appreciate anyone who answers this :)

  • @HallowEffects Rhythm starts at 6:30. I'll try to put indexes at the start of all my future videos. Or I could do it with this one with annotations, if I wasn't too lazy, that is. =(

  • y are you shaking????!!! nervous eh? LOL ! freaky but thanks for the video anyway!

  • that was ridiculous

  • @cardzize good or bad?

  • its sad now what drugs have done to dope fiends, making them think they can do the impossible to make mama proud, hopefully the orphanage will at least give gratitude to this poor 49 year old soul my best goes out to you little guy.

  • @XxwarlockxX214 Did you post this on the right video? I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean.

  • HOLY SHIT..!!!! what happen to ur fingers??!! NOT COOL REALLY !!!

anyways.. tnx for the video :P

  • OK, so I just realized the original person who requested this cover has deleted their account at some point. I have no idea if they ever even saw it, rofl. I think I'll use this depressing irony to my advantage and remind everyone of the benefits of subscriptions and checking back.

  • U SUCK!!!!

  • you are COOL

  • can you make a tutorial for pretend by shs?please :)

  • @ichsandevandra I'll put it on my list. The main thing in the cover scene I'm working on right now is a series teaching you all how to figure out songs yourselves, as you're left cruelly hanging by just about the entire professional pop/rock/metal community via no one posting chords, lessons, etc, when it takes 15 seconds for the original artist. Even if you have the skill down, it's not much better, because you still have to do the work, rofl! (This is another problem I'm working on.)

  • what kind of guitar do you have?

  • @Maroons05 I'm ashamed I don't know his model number=(. He's about a $400-level acoustic Yamaha. (His name is "Tranq")

  • how bout we give this guy some credit for taking his time to make this for us?! he's the only one nice enough to make a lesson for this so if you dont like it dont watch it instead of leaving mean comments!!!!!

  • Amazing Voice <3

  • i hope u could recover from ADHD. i'll pray for you!.

  • Pretty noob question but can someone tell me the strumming pattern.

  • soo good! take care my friend:)

  • :: You´re so nervous..? ::

  • DUDE what isr u so shaking ???>???>?>?

  • @CACOORAT 1. I'm holding the guitar at an extremely awkward angel so that the neck is parallel with the camera as it was set up, and even normally it's more tricky to hold a guitar for a camera. 2. My ADHD medication makes me shake, which makes the previous a lot worse. 3. Not enough protein that day.

  • @SquishToGo so ur malnourished kid? dude.. ur not that good but practice..more.. for sure.. ill be wacthing you playing in stage :)))))

  • @brokenOfLove Lol; it's not a cover. I'm not trying to create a performance, just demonstrate the song. I suppose it kinda seems like a cover because I play the whole song initially... I'll try to squeeze them into one punch from now on=). You can visit my channel for covers I put time into for the sake of performance.

  • dude this is amazing! thanks for the lesson! take care!:) ;D

  • did you hit a line before you did this?

  • lol, i couldn't get over his voice, great lesson though!!!! LOL :)

  • thx for the lesson... good job

  • .. lmao thanks. ;D

  • sounds great!

  • Hahahahahaha! Wtf? xD

  • thanks mate nice lesson ;)

  • why is he so damn shaky?

  • @MMAATTFF 1. ADHD medication, and 2. I'm holding the guitar at a really awkward position to line it up with camera right.

  • @SquishToGo DUDE!!!! Your hands are scaring me BIG TIME!!!! your like ejaculating super hard through the whole song !!

  • jst stop it!!!.....ur jst annoying my eyezzz

  • Well the chords seem to be correct, but your singing needs some work. Its very...pitchy and flat. Haha other than...well and try and no be so nervous. Anyway...good job...

  • @whackedout101 It's a lesson, not a cover, so I didn't think it mattered. I'd rather get a requested lesson up than procrastinate it for a good singing day, or have to do 50 more takes to get my voice right. I said I'm not nervous, it's medication side effects combined with awkwardly holding and fingering the guitar neck to see well on the video.

  • @SquishToGo Oh I know, I'm just saying...

No need to sing though in a guitar lesson...well you can...I'm just saying...but no need to get defensive!

Anyway, i'm sorry I assumed that you were nervous, it just look like you were shaking and the way you were holding and fingering the guitar was somewhat awkward...

    sorry...but good tutorial.

  • You seem little bit nervous o.o

    But is cool :D

  • @Oriana227 I'm not nervous. I take stimulants for my ADHD. People say this all the time, don't realize it's simply a medication side effect (jitteriness / mild shaking).

  • @Oriana227 Oh, also, I'm holding the guitar very awkwardly to face the camera just right. I can never position the camera perfectly so sometimes I have to bend over or down or up or whatever. To boot, I'm focusing more on demonstrating the fingering to the camera than holding the guitar steady.

  • If you are going to teach...learn a bit about how to support with the thumb...

    and tune the guitar.

Also; try Decaf...you are so jittery here.

  • @Rexicano Thank you for the tip, it's reminded me to re-learn any basic techniques I don't have down that could screw up a student. Although, much of my technique is unique/innovative and self-taught and hence has no official standards to conform to. When you re-invent many basics, these two extremes often conflict.

  • One book I like that clearly shows good technique; Chris Parkening Book One

Your lh wrist is bending at 90 degree; not good

Technique is about getting rid of un-needed tension; guitar is already hard enough. Classic tech is not just for Classical music.

Looks like you press too hard on frets too.

Chromatic scales slowly VERY slowly help

Keep thumb back behind neck for support. Tilt neck up more; to play with much less effort.

The older you get the more excess tension will cripple you.

  • @Rexicano I studied classical guitar in college so I'm sure some of that remains in my technique even if I can't verbalize the specifics like you're doing. But really, most of what you're saying is because I'm holding the guitar awkwardly in order to show the fretboard clearly for the camera horizontally and demonstrate my fingerings clearly for the viewer. Having perfect posture as well as clear video visibility is very difficult. (...)

  • @Rexicano ...Also, yes, my action is higher than a usual classical or fingerstyle guitar--so I have to press harder than normal in general in addition to doing so for camera demonstration purposes--but I find there's absolutely no other way to arrange hard rock for acoustic guitar. If you slam the strings on a low-action guitar you get too much buzzing. I'd rather play proper acoustic hard rock for 10 years than suck it at for 50. (...)

  • I STARTED on Rock so I have to disagree.

then to Jazz, and came last to Classical, so one can do it all. Most rock is a breeze now.

When you get to 50 you will still love music, maybe even more...so don't pose as a kamakazi.

I get 50 year olds all the time in lessons and they have terrible problems now.

The EXcess tension is your hands will limit you in the present.

Fix the guitar or get a better one; cheap now for a decent one. "Tis a poor craftsman who blames his tools."

  • @Rexicano ...Lastly, part of my bad classical / fingerstyle thumb posture results from what I consider to be proper "extreme acoustic" techniques. I thump the guitar hard with my palm to create a solid drum beat, along with giving the string hefty vibrato (and other unorthodoxly powerful things), and you just can't do that I don't think without grasping the neck strongly to keep it still. I thank you for your advice though, it reminds me to keep standard techniques in mind when teaching (etc)

  • good job

  • thanx
