Hi! When I record vocals, there is this "ticking sound", (not continously), but it is there. And if I take a short break from the singing (like 2 sec.), the first words doesn't get recorded when I start againg. Can someone help me? What is it that I do wrong?

(I really hope you understand what I wrote. I'm not english, but I tried my best to write it in english...)

Hey I need help! I recorded a solo (1 minute) with backing track, and when it saved it's 49kb and I saved it as "any type" but it doesn't work to upload to youtube or any video editing program, none can read the file.Please help!

@raket94 It means you can either use the two channels as a single stereo channel (left and right) or that you can use them as two individual mono channels.

Not bad Chris, not bad, although I would be interested in learning how this particular USB interface stacks up against Firewire in terms of latency issues with audio on a laptop.

Any Steinberg program works with any ASIO interface but the Ci2 AI knob will not work with Nuendo. I have NUENDO5, Cubase 5, MR816csx and the CI2 for my laptop on the go.

So far the Ci2 is not focused for Nuendo... Which is a way over the top DAW system for this interface. But it does work as a 2 channel in and out interface ONLY. ( the Ai knob will not work on Nuendo )

Nuendo is $2,000 and they gonna buy this $199 unit....? I smell torrent.

If you can spend $2,000 on Nuendo, you may be using a more high end interface to go along your very high end DAW. Like RME-MADI, MR816csx, etc..

People this Unit is for the new VST audio system and VST3 plug ins..

So far its for Cubase AI5, Essential 5, Studio 5 and also Cubase 5.

i need some audio interface to buy and i have two alternatives to chose form, first is Tc konnect 6 and the CI2, and the only thin i want to know is whether the CI2 interface can communicate with Fl studio. and also want to know if the cubase Ai 5 has the Agent groove in it????

I noticed you are recording MIDI, not audio. But I don't see anywhere that this has MIDI connections. Does this have MIDI ports?

Not many keyboards have it anymore ,most are usb.

@floridamusiccompany they usually have usb plus midi and function as a midi interface. plus, there are some rather cheap usb midi interfaces at guitar center.

hey i just got cubase 5 and the CI2 having a bit of troubles when i plug in the top light coms on bright and the second one dull then the third not at all and when i plug my acoustic guitar in the playback sounds horable (but the guitarr sounds good) do you know how i could hook it up to make everything work? anyone got any advice please!??? thanks

hey im having a bit of trouble i just bought a CI2 and cubase 5 when i plug the CI2 into my laptop the first light is coming on but no the other 2 and when i plug my acoustic in and record i cant here it through speakers i have hooked up to my laptop only if i plug in headphone to the CI2 and when i record my acoustic its a brutal sound when i play back could you please help me

Anyone knows how to connect a synthesizer such as Roland or Korg to the CI2? Do I need a mixer to connect them or Just I can directly plug in my synthesizer? I am also wondering why this magic small box does not have enough LINE IN/OUT jack besides that one which can connect to the monitor. Thank you very much!

@ghhz It has two output jacks (L/R) and one mono (phones). You can connect your keyboard trough USB directly into yer computer, that's what I'm doing.

I already own the full version of Cubase 5 and the MR816CSX. Curious, about this item. Could I use this with a laptop and use my Cubase 5 and be able to control the features the same way as the ai5 software?
