  • This isn't Mexican, yet is Mexican based! It's not that hard to understand..

  • This is THE BEST chocolate pudding ever! You would never even know that it's made with tofu!

  • I have Bittman's vegetarian book and I'm always blown away by how simple the recipes are. Some are just 5 ingredients and bam, crazy delicious. I have no doubt that this is good too.

If you haven't had tofu, then I can see why this would seem "gross" but this is how you use silken tofu. You throw it in a smoothie, sauce, pudding, quiche, anywhere you need thickening and binding. It really has no taste of its own so it can be sweet or savory.

  • your hilarious but then sounds deliciosuoiusoiuoss

  • He meant that the chocalate is mexican... not the RECIPE

  • Made this today... it's SO effing good!!! and easy. Nice

  • nice and healthy recipe. imma try it =)

  • sorry but this is not a mexican recipe...

Mexican food we dont use Tofu !

  • individually slicing flakes of chocolate with an apple peeler!?? get a cheese grater and grate the chocolate over the pudding, saves picking them up one by one off the chopping board too, lol.

  • Oh, and btw....the 'spider' is just a small bit of liquid chocolate that broke free and floats away in the blender. It's at 1:48.

  • ofbones, correct! Traditional 'Mexican Chocoate' is made from dark bitter chocolate, sugar, and cinnamon, which are all used in this recipe. The inclusion of the chili powder is also Mexican in origin since Mexican chocolate is used to make their famous Mole sauce, which is served with mild chilis, or poblanos. The recipe is not Mexican, it's based on using traditional Mexican Chocolate.

  • He seems to be using the term 'Mexican' to denote the spices used, kind of like 'Mexican' hot chocolate. No one that I know of actually thinks this dish is authentically Mexican in origin.

  • Can i say something?

To be the truth , it look kinda gross after pouring out the liquid

And i don't thin Mexican ate such foods as Tofu + Chocolate

    It's abit gross

  • just to let you know but in mexican food this recepie do dont exist mexican food is really not so much in tofu ingredients.

  • With our excessive heat today, I can't think of a better time to make this. It sounds so refreshing! I'm making it tonight and can't wait to try it! (Think I'll be okay if I use semi-sweet chocolate instead of bittersweet?)

  • spider on the blender at 1:40

  • Sorry, I don't see a spider on the blender. *confused*

  • wow you have a " special " eye

Only you able to see " Spider "
