I agree with this guy to an extent. I believe that if you can see something you want, and not just the goal, but how to get there with logical reason, you will get it. I've had a situation similar to the kid with the ball, I wanted to know the answer to a problem on a test I was taking in school so I asked my friend what the answer was. He said he didn't know. After that, I asked him why he wouldn't tell me the answer because he obviously knew it. He looked at me like I was crazy but still I persisted in telling him and fully believing that he knew the answer. He eventually just told me an answer out of frustration and it was the right answer.

yes, but u also have to take into account the numerous accounts of cancer victims who were on the brink of death, truly believed that they would ok, they would be fine, the cancer sells got this signal coming from our conscious, and reverted back into normal cells. Yes you do appear to "believe it to happen" but that's because of a desire, which starts in the conciousness to see the boy catch the ball, and an outcome, the boy did actually catch the ball. I think that what happened in your encounter was that by showing him the absolute truth, he understood it at that moment and realized how easy it really can be. Don't worry about peoples' negative comments, the whole point is to get people to REALIZE this and then apply it to their own life...and i think this is really starting to happen,but its a slow process. peace

I can't say I really agree with you on the fact that if we believe there to be peace in the world then there will be, but I do believe that if one thinks he/she will be successful, then they will be. The whole world is made up of this. All of the "power" in the world which governs themselves is made up of this. Their collective beliefs, of sometimes great and even small (regimes for example that govern a country / north korea ect.) groups of people, which in the beginning start of as few and actually take effort and spread their beliefs around make power if pushed to do it. you're realizing this.
