I agree Duncan is no Ali but he has talent of his own! Kuddos to him for having the courage to step into some BIG shoes and doing a fine job at it too! I'm grateful to have the opportunity to listen to this song in its original version with the one and only Ali but still being able to see it performed live by Duncan!

UB40 could have so easily been destroyed by having the wrong lead vocal. Here by giving a family member a chance they have saved themselves. Its very easy to criticise but I'd like to see any other get up and do a better job. I think its great they had Duncan to fill Ali's shoes and remember, he is no professional singer either.

Why should anybody loose their career and livelihood through indifference?

I love UB40! I gotta be honest when I heard there was a new singer I never thought that he could fill Ali's shoes nor will the band survive..but Duncan u proved me wrong. You blended in just right. And goes to show UB40 still got it!

Whatever the reason Ali left, Duncan stepped in to save the group. Going by this track, he is doing a good job. Simlar voice (not an impression) Well done for giving it a go. He didn't have to do it, Anyone coming in to front an established group will get stick from people who don't understand the real world. Whatever happens behind the scenes, Ali could make a return in the future. Never say never.

UB40 are no more as far as I am concerned that may as well be anyone up there trying to be Ali, Duncan has no charisma cant move for shit and spends more time off the stage than on it. Saw these last night at Southampton Guildhall it was so bad people were leaving. Duncan lets the others down - bring back Ali NOW PLEASE!!!

If it was so bad why did you bother staying to the end? In fact, why did you buy a ticket in the first place? Could you do better? Instead of criticising, you should be thanking. Duncan saved the livelihoods of many people & stopped more from joining our growing Dole queues. How sad would it have been for them all to have had a UB40 in their hand again. Had you thought of that? I say "GOOD LUCK" to each & everyone of them.
