Dave is currently the Head Met in St Louis where I live..dunno how he was treated in Boston but that man has saved hundreds of lives here in the St Louis area. He knows his shit especially during damaging weather, explains it in laymen's terms and during Tornado season..he is a god send.. Love this guy.
This Night On Friday Night, October 17, 1986, Dave Murray Did Sub In For Bruce Schowoegler, For The Weather On WBZ-TV's TV-4 Eyewitness News Nightcast.
I Believe This Was A Video Clip Of WBZ-TV's TV-4 Eyewitness News Nightcast Report On Dave Murray's Weather Forecast On Friday Night, October 17, 1986.
Dave was one of the worst on-air met's that Boston ever had. I'm glad he went back where he belongs. We used to call him "plastic face" because it was obvious he was overly made-up. He also relied on a teleprompter too much and it was well known that he rehearsed his on air presentation, sometimes missing crucial updates. The only thing he was good for around here were some nice laughs.
Hi there, do you know when local TV stations 1st started to use inhouse wsr systems?. Also, were there any WSR-74's with upgraded to use doppler function?. I know that after 1988 into the 90s 88-D's were comissioned all through the US and the 74s dismantled.

Nothing to let go. Just my thoughts.
I love the yellow cold fronts. I guess yellow cold fronts + red warm fronts meant orange occlusions? :-)

He's so young there! He is now the head meteorologist for Fox 2 in St. Louis. He's the best.
