Ace was finished because he felt the farewaeel tour was it and it wasn't. Went on to do his own thing and touring now. New album out. Paul and Gene did not renew Petes contract and felt he couldnt do 2 hour shows anymore. Neither have burnt out. lol

I was trying to refer to them as original members, not founding members, my bad. It was Ace, Peter, Paul and Gene with the original sound, the awesome stage show, this is what Kiss was built on, w/out Ace and Peter to start with, you would not have had this. Gene is even quoted with saying that after they heard Ace, they said that he was it, that was the sound they were looking for, I believe that come off of Kiss Konfidential.
