I don't accept that it was the norm for young girls to be married of to old men? How does that work? Who marries the young men if the old men take young girls?

The RLDS church was originally the church which Emma Smith and all other relatives of Joseph Smith and book of Mormon witnesses(except Cowdery) joined under the leadership of Prophet James Strang who translated some plates. There was much more talk about j.s. than Jesus. I asked one of my missionaries why does everyone say that. in which she replied "because it's true" I told her this all feels a little bit cultish. She got really upset. Anyway after doing more research I can,t see how any clear thinking person could possibly believe this crap.

I did not even realize at 27 years old as a Mormon that the Bible emphatically teaches that there is only one God that exists like: Isaiah 43:10,11 44:6-8,24 Jeremiah 10:10,11 Deuteronomy 4:39 Hosea 13:4 Nehemiah 9:6 etc.

It definitely contradicts the Bible. It also contradicts reality and common sense. There is no archaeological, historical or other evidence to validate the BOM. All history and archaeology in the Americas discredits the BOM. The BOM also contradicts the D&C & PGP & Mormonism.

The Bible & BOM both teach that there is only One God that exists. Polygamy is condemned in the BOM and praised in the Doctrine & Covenants. Neither the Bible or the BOM teach a pre earth existence of man. Neither teach eternal marriage. Both teach that Christ is God, the one & only God Isaiah 43:10,11 44:6-8,24 Hebrews 1:8-12.

The lie of Mormonism is found very easily by the contradictions of Mormon scriptures with other Mormon scriptures, the contradictions of old Mormon prophets with New Mormon prophets, the many extreme doctrinal changes of Mormonism over the years, it's many contradictions of the Bible etc. The Bible can be tested, historically, archaeologically etc.

I found out The Truth about LDS beliefs and subsequently RAN AWAY from my LDS ward. Thats what truth does Cindy. It was shocking to the core. Once I knew LDS belief on Valiancy and Polygamy etc I felt like puking.

Spencer Kimball claimed that he could see so called Lamanites of his day turning WHITER Skinned when they associated with some LDS placement program.
How come non of the negroes in my ward turned any whiter? Are they not allowed the privilage to turn white in this life like Indian Lamanites are according Spencer Kimball?

@ElderJoseph out of context and not understanding the doctrines of the mormon church and who doesn't have a testimony will think that we are the worst people in the world, that we hate blacks, and that we must make them sit at the back of the church and use separate drinking fountains and spit on them as we walk by!!! you really think I'd join a church if I thought it was like this??? I would NEVER do that! I'm always yelling at people online for using the n-word, etc.!!!
