  • greatest singer who ever lived

  • This is absolutely beautiful. I feel sorry for those nitpickers who only look for what is wrong rather than enjoying the beauty of it all as a whole.

Pavarotti is the greatest singer ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @marcherst That is so true

  • Saw him at least 20 times or more, including recitals. He at various times hugged my mother, shook my hand, and grinned when I told him to go get something to eat. God I feel old and cancer blows. If you want to get even with disease send money to the pancreatic cancer research of your choosing.

  • lyrics in italiano e l'inglese per piacere?

  • Nell'ordine: Caruso (ascoltar bene, per favore) Gigli e Pavarotti.

  • Thank you for your kind words, 65 willows.

  • You have put together both a beautiful photo collage with an indescriably beautiful performance. Thank you very much.

  • No accounting for tastes, madisonelec! Probably somebody who believes he could do better!

  • What jerkmeat disliked this?

  • This is from a recital recording in 1968. Edward Downes was the conductor.

Luciano is fresh and seems boundless as to where the voice can go.

    A gem.

  • You're entitled to your opinon, although I don't share it.

  • "Push push push push, aaaaaah Spiiiirtoooo geeeentiiiiiiillll " I can not believe that this was the MAIN tenor of the world, he has a huge voice, yes, but it is so pushed all the way that it sounds like his insides is just coming out.

  • nice to know the year of this recording... he did an E vowel instead an A vowel in the high C wich is correct but may be we can say that since 1972 he used to sing more A´s instead E sometimes since an "A" (note). By the way, nice recording

  • @aguacun

Thanks for nice comment and interesting info, aguacun. The recording was done in 1974, and I think he was in spectactular form.

  • @shantibel Totally agree!

  • @aguacun here he covers the E, is that not unusual for him?

  • @cornificius22vain Is not unusual for him. In fact the "E" is a vowel that most of tenors do cover even when some of them usually sing wide open upper an F#. What I meant was that Pavarotti changed (somewhere in time) the way of covering the E (for notes like A, B or higher) donig a shape of an "A" instead an "E" like here in the high "C". Alfredo Kraus was a tenor who used to sing always an "E" in all the register but he always said that an "O" must be a dark "A" on to high notes.

  • @aguacun I disagree that Pavarotti usually covers E. Usually he cover F and above, not E.

  • @cornificius22vain Oh! Of course, now I see. Totally agree with you and my mistake. Have to say that I did not meant to say "E" like the note. I mean the vowel E in the italian language (and like in spanish ). I meant that he sung here "fuggite insieeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEme" covering the "E" vowel on the high C (note) saying a real "E" and not what he usally did few years after, something like "fuggite inseeeeAAAAAAAme".

  • Grandissima voce.... Grandissima musicalità.... Grandissimo Luciano.... La Tua arte

    resterà per l'eternita

  • hig C..what´s the problem!!! Woo!!

  • @CHEMAXIMO1 Smooth and swweet as nectar

  • awesome

  • I agree whole heartedly... only one Pavarotti! May he rest in the arms of God forever.

  • I think so too. He is just supreme here.

  • The singing is so beautiful, just perfect, his voice is supreme. I love you Luicano so much.
