  • Correct Title - Tegu Gets Fucked With, Tegu Defends Itself. If you look at the discoloration of his tail, it has come off before and regrown that dark, black color. This isn't the first time this animal has encountered larger threatening animals before; possibly other dogs.

  • i hate those lizards they are dangerous

  • @thegirlinaw26 mines friendly as anything

  • @thegirlinaw26 you know dogs causes the most deaths in the US right

  • Just goes to show you these guys can really get nasty when not kept as pets.. they acclimitize really well... I saw the other video of the Tegu biting the guys index finger off, scary and eye opening stuff.

  • Wow.... this is my first time watching an aggresive tegu. Impressive, if rather scary :(

  • Any one els see this on swamp wars

  • Man, those things are fast and vicious. Glad I haven't seen one in person yet.

  • @dougefresh091 Why is it any time an animal is defending itself it's called vicious... vicious to me is attack without provocation.

  • @consuetudinis Yes, they can live 20 years if properly cared for. Males tend to be larger than the females. Females are really protective of their eggs though. Males also have lumps next to their mouths which are much smaller and less defined on females. I do play with my Tegu as much as my dogs though. I don't take him for walks though, but they do make leashes for that.

  • Mother of God..

  • I hate Dog's

  • @halomannetje Why?

  • aww poor tegu

  • I feel sorry for it.. I know you aren't harming it or anything, but it seems humiliated from not being able to hurt anyone ): Man that's awesome how it runs haha

  • @ninjasquidface If it got thats dogs leg in its mouth it'd be a different story.

  • @THEoEDUCATER True lol scary little thing

  • @ninjasquidface I have 1 as a pet. Its nicer then both my dogs. lol

  • @THEoEDUCATER Wow :D that's understandable, Lizards are usually pretty friendly (I only have experience from the dragons and gecko's I find in my yard though) But this one looks pretty nasty for a tiny little thing :O

  • @ninjasquidface They still have an insanely strong bite. Not as bad as my iguanas though. This one is pretty small. They are usually around 4 feet, with a couple 5 footers strewn in there somewhere.

  • @THEoEDUCATER Is that right that a Tegu may become 20 years old? Is there a difference in the behaviour of male and female Tegus? What are you doingwith it - I suppose you do not play with it as you use to do with your 2 dogs, aren`t you?

  • They can't fun on water! Wtf you guys smokin? Lol

  • damn scary lizard :|

  • that dogs got mad dodging skills

  • nice funny

  • hahaha, cute dog :) just wants to play with the teguuu. ;)

  • how !

  • its like the gechos from fallout new vegas lol

  • tegus are just like a dog ^_^

  • It's illegal to import and keep most foreign animals in Australia for the very reason shown in your videos. It's obviously not the animals fault, but if an animal represents a serious risk why should you as Joe Citizen be allowed to keep it as a pet? Zoo's aren't driven by whims, so apart from natural disasters they're probably reliable. Maybe they should allow ONLY male exotic animals as pets, that way if they escape there's no chance of breeding.

  • @etmax1 You have a good point but it might not work in reality. Thanks for watching.

  • @etmax1 Requiring albinos be used for pets would also work.

  • @etmax1 dude, that one gender thing didnt work in jurassic park.

    life found a way

  • @erk7xl Komodo dragons can produce young when only a female is present, and many species can store sperm for years before actually giving birth

  • @etmax1 well one big problem with all male exotics is many species of reptiles amphibians and fish are not sexually dimorphic until maturity and most exotics on the market are captive bred or wild caught juveniles

  • @UniteForgetLeftRight umm.... everything on the market is captive bred or wild caught lol what other options are there.

  • @kreeperrock wild caught or captive bred juveniles.....dont be an ass and try to comprehend the full statement

  • @kreeperrock i think the most referred to the juvenile part, not the captive or wild caught.

  • @etmax1 Results in very high costs then as every individual animal would be imported rather than official breeders in the country. Licences and a heavy regulation on suppliers would be good.

  • @etmax1 You got to realize that Australia how a lot of reptiles there anyways so why import when you got a good selection to choose from.

  • What on earth? I had no idea that they could run on two legs

  • @Xenphobe777 Indeed they can.

  • @Xenphobe777 They can also run on water. They are Jesus Christ lizard

  • @fuckvegan That is not a Jesus Christ lizard. This is an Argentinian Black and White Tegu. The Basilisk lizard (aka Jesus lizard) is much different looking and only reaches about 2 feet, which is smaller than this tegu is already. Full grown tegus can reach 4-5 feet. Tegu's definitely can not run on water.

  • 0:09-0:50 Tegu had his twin turbos on!

  • Dear God, please kill all morons that keep Tegu's. Thank you.

    ...did it work?

  • @reckneya Blindly killing can't be the solution. It's the responsibility of any pet owner to deal in a reasonable matter with parting from their pets (tegus, pythons, dogs, cats etc..). Thanks for watching.

  • @ojatro

Ah well, you have an excellent point. Makes sense. But some people really shouldn't have pets because while they see themselfs as average good for their animals they don't have a clue how animal unfriendly they truly are.

  • stupid people shouldnt be allowed to have pets, already broke his tail once (@ 31 sec.)

  • @420houston Not all invasive species here in the US are released "pets". Animals do escape from homes, zoos, pet stores, exotic importers etc..

  • Get that retarted dog out of there !!!!! the poor tegu :(

  • Tell you one thing... That dog will be real, real sorry if that Tegu gets ahold of him...

  • thats power in acceleration even did a wheellie!

  • hahaha... this sure is funny can't stop laughing

  • dude your torturing the poor thing thats fucked up.

  • The dog is like: You can't catch me *trollface*

  • I hope that dog gets his nose biten off then he knows he should leave that poor Tegu alone

  • that dog has dem reflexes

  • I don't understand the humor in the dog harassing the tegu. We have a 4 yr old male Tegu and a 9 yr old Lab. both have free run of the house during the day. time was spent with Belle when the lizard was first brought home. I believe you call it being responsible pet owners. I feel sorry for both animals

  • Man, that's a ticked off lizard!

  • LOL!

  • animal cruity!

  • 0:43 LOL !

  • stupid dog

  • Looks more like its fuckin wit the tegu so he just like ur my bitch now

  • The tegu is like come here biatch

  • Damn nature... YOU SCARY!

  • @celticprideism Honestly, captive members of this species are some of the tamest lizards on the planet. Check out some of my videos on the pair I own.

  • i had one of them chase me for 5 minutes

  • epic! lol

  • is that a wild tegu

  • your a loser...

  • Yep Florida does have allot of lizards I should know cause I live here

  • He's doing wheelies.

  • Florida is a state...where lizards eat dogs

  • @celticprideism shutup punk. these lizards are hard as fuck. it took on the dog when it wasn't even half it's size

  • Don't mess with a tegu

  • poor teg like why would u wind a animal up like this

  • that was epic when he went on his feet

  • great footage!

  • Love that tegu ... Hope he's OK ... There are some really stupid people on here !!!

  • The poor Tegu is terrified, and being harassed, Its simply a defensive response! And its not the Tegus' fault that they are "taking over s. florida" its irresponsible owners that buy a 9 in lizard cause its cute, then let it go in the wild when its 3-5 feet long and they can't take care of it anymore. There are tegu rescues out there that would take in ALL tegus.. if you need to get rid of your lizard, thats the responsible thing to do.

  • @PiercedCub32 they actually aren't taking over south florida. they been doing round ups for exotic species and the past two and a half years turned up only 30 monitor lizards and even less boids

  • @PiercedCub32. VERY well put ;) . You are so right. I just saved that video under my favorite because I like the way he runs. But the rest of it I feel VERY bad for that poor Tegu. They are such great pets.

  • @PiercedCub32 Then there also Hurricane Andrew that may have set free many reptiles, as there were a couple reptile breed facilities affected by the storm.

  • dude tegus are from spain n are invading florida fucking dumass

  • @arrek300WOW

Um... Tegu's aren't from Spain, or anywhere in Europe. Johnnecron is right they come from Central and South America. Hence why Tupinambis merianae is the ARGENTINIAN black and white tegu, and Tupinambis teguixin is the COLUMBIAN black and white tegu.

  • @PraetorianMan argeintena

  • and florida

  • tegus come from central and south america

  • what is a tegu? where are you at in the world?

  • nice?

  • Yeah. Sure it can attack a poor cameraman and a dog, but let's see it try to charge like that on a Full size gator!
