@MrTris82 there is such a thing as wastegate flutter...maybe not on this rx7, but there is. Look it up, before saying what you think you know. I rely on facts not your opinion. And my question is directed towards Kashrx7, since he posted this on youtube.
@Snaple00 you are correct, this is not compressor surge, compressor surge occurs DURING boost not on spool down. wastegate chatter only occurs DURING boost. all your hearing is the BOV chattering. The chirping is caused by the air being re-pressurized by the still spinning turbo and releasing small chirps of pressure until the pressure is lower than the pressure setting on the BOV. Remember the Greddy "turkey Call" bov with the super soft spring to make this sound?
