@stoyles13 I changed it for the right Model number and it worked fine so posted that video to show everyone be very careful to get the right Numbers version of the screen.
i have the exact same problem..my phone is bipolar and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.. t-mobile said that upgrading your data will fix it but it didnt fix it for me...its pissing me off.
Its like a disconnection between the screen and the phone itself. That happened to me & I had to send it in to get repaired. Sometimes it can just be the device itself, meaning you don't have to inflict damage to the phone for this problem to arise.
got it wet back in paril, dried it out for 3 days beneath a bulb.. took it all aprt.. battery out etc... back off.. turned it on 3days later and it worked perfectly..
the phone went with white screen about a week ago nearly
@liveuk got opening tools yesterdeay etc.. took it part etc.. cleaned the ports where the screen plugs in etc.. gonna try get a new screen off ebay as you recommend...
i may make a video about how to take them apart etc..
If it works when the screen is changed.. i think i will hold onto it for another 3months.. alo gonna change keypad and trackpad whilst am at it too....
@apmirkin Happy to hear you enjoyed cleaning it up they are the best for fixing they take a lot of hammer. Posh word is robust, I bought all mine off Ebay water damaged 1 out of 6 i have bought would not fix the rest all cleaned up with switch cleaner (not the screen) There are loads of video's already on how to take them apart. Also home network Wireless is very cool open a browser hit the bb button, settings, genral, default browser to HotSpot Browser
@Nico3dd No it's fine I then replaced it with the right one and it works fine and the screen put in by error is also fine this is to show you what happens if you replace with the wrong part number. Both screens r fine after error.

mine is doing this, but mine has never had the screen changed etc...
i am gonna buy opening tools and see if i can repair it.... if i can... i'm gonna sell mine and just buy a new one..

@DelBaulchy clean the connector where the screen plugs in if that does not work replace the screen very cheap to do too
