I can place my camera inches away from any subwoofer and the mic would no do this. That sound is from the spider hitting the motor. if you actually had an idea what the sounds are you would know. why would it only make the noise on the lowest frequency of this track? because its bottoming out and has no filter on the amp settings.

yeah, but unless this camera is a complete piece of shit the mic will never move, you can hold a camera inside a 160+ DB vehicle and the mix wont even be affected by anything but air movement making the regular noise. a sub would not cause the mic to wiggle in a camera and i can make a video holding my camera in the port of sub box's and all you will hear is air noise. I seriously doubt you even own car audio or have messed with it.
some cameras have a limiter so no more sound can pass through, resulting in a consant clear but uneven volume. and some cameras are BUILT differently, and some cameras CANT or CAN handle the pressure waves or sound waves created by the sub. obviously your can so go and fuck off, look at more videos on youtube and buy 20 cameras for your little experiment

Their pressed paper cones are reinforced and very concave so it will definitely support the pressures of full excursions in small sealed boxes. The only time paper drivers can't be run hard is when the cone is fairly flat like the Rockford P3 Shallow subs. by the way, are you sure you're a speaker designer? You said the driver is weak. I hope you meant to say cone, cuz everything about this sub is strong.

Well you can order book on the different levels of MECP certification, the first book is the basic book. You can go to MECPdotCOM and follow the links through the site to see if there are any places near you that administer exams. I have not heard of any actual courses just for the 12 volt industry, but in reality real world experience is the greatest course you can take. Just be ambitious and learn about the basics, then grow on that.

guys this subwoofer is cheap ass american garbage don't ever buy this waste. Go with kickers pioneers Fi .This subwoofer has a foam surrounding and the output is very weak. I had one of those at 2000rms. One l7 15 inch at 1100rms produces the same output.
but the orion only won that competition because it can handle 4000 watts and kicker was the only one who hung with it beacuse they can both handle high wattage where as the others can't but all in all a very good sub

Not in SQ. JL makes their subs with top SQ and not all about super high SPL. W7's can get super loud but the Orion can handle more watts than the W7. It really depends on your enclosure to determine how loud a subwoofer can get.
i think orion and jl audio are some of the best subs out there but the orion didnt go up against a 13 w7 it went against a 12w6 and i think that orion would be louder than the w7 but the w7 could still hang with it.

ok um to the dumbass who asay orion is crap and waste this sub can handle 3000 watts rms, twice as much as the 9500 jl w7 and the l7 the only sub that can compete is the 12" re XXX which is strictly rated at 2000 rms do your fucking research before you post fuck face, by the way i have to of these pused my a memphis mojo 4000 watt rms amp they hit very hard!!!

i can think of about 5 other subs that can handle 3000rms. lets see theres the atomic apxxx, the dmx series from massive, the btl from fi (with upgrades), audiopulse (is it axis any way used to be the tc sounds tc-3000), pioneer tsw-5102, kicker solo-x, wow and thats just off the top of my head, looks like you might want to do some research yourself. nice vid by the way.

sorry but the Orion HCCA is rated at 1500 RMS (though underrated) the 10's are max 3000 and 12/15 are max 4000.

guys this subwoofer is cheap ass american garbage don't ever buy this waste. Go with kickers pioneers Fi .This subwoofer has a foam surrounding and the output is very weak. I had one of those at 2000rms. One l7 15 inch at 1100rms produces the same output.

but the orion only won that competition because it can handle 4000 watts and kicker was the only one who hung with it beacuse they can both handle high wattage where as the others can't but all in all a very good sub

well are you lookin for the cheap loud subs or sub for alot of money if i had the money i would get a matts Juggernaut and a matts d2100.1 that would be one of the loudest subs ever. but if your going for cheap good sound a kicker comp would be good or a rockford p3.

Not in SQ. JL makes their subs with top SQ and not all about super high SPL. W7's can get super loud but the Orion can handle more watts than the W7. It really depends on your enclosure to determine how loud a subwoofer can get.

They're probably better for SPL competitions. But that test they did wasn't fair because all those sub wasn't the same exact wattage.

i think orion and jl audio are some of the best subs out there but the orion didnt go up against a 13 w7 it went against a 12w6 and i think that orion would be louder than the w7 but the w7 could still hang with it.

I like the Pioneer Premier TS-W8102SPL to be one of the loudest subs ever. Only 2 15" subs hit a SPL of 177.2 dB at the 2006 IASCA World Finals. Not only are they made for winning competitions they also are made with sound quality too.
