ok I guess you are right...I think and old school balisong in the closed position would be equally effective though and the blade would be available quicker...Are you going to ever think about producing a good quality butterfly knife? get a quality knife and just try it, it's not that easy.

a gun is a totally different tool. whatever you choose, it's still going to take lots of practice :)
