However, how the hell can one shift perfectly with an unfamiliar clutch? Every clutch has its own properties that takes SOME getting used to.

Awesome car. I have a 4 door Si ... No, you won't beat any Mustangs in drag races ... but as a compromise between fuel economy, practicality and being stupidly fun to drive (I.e. listening to the engine scream from 6k-8k RPM, with the feel of a modest sports car) it is an awesome car.
