Can you please add LSO (Landing Signal Officers) to the game of IL-2 Sturmovik 1946? Carrier operations would be useless without them, because they guide in aircraft to land on carrier to do this direction and that direction, while waving two paddles on the carrier deck.

The LSO was very important and still is important to carrier operations. I am tired of crashing my plane in to the deck. I want to know if I am going too fast for example .

Wonderful! Love it!! Even more reasons not to touch FSX anymore! I really love the radio navigation because now you really actively are busy on the long flights during missions, never thought of this feature, glad you guys did! And I REALLY love the new dark, the runway lights and the ILS approach! Man this is really great!! And like wurzzzz said, I do really want more complexity.

Although I dont see the need for radars/nightfighting, because in IL2 it never gets really dark.. only cloudy

(overcast, fog etc)

Its really sad.

If it was possible somehow to make the night "dark" it would be awesome.

Did you actually watch this video? Whole latter half of it has the "new dark". It's much darker than what it was before.

This I had no idea of.. it isnt mentioned in the video. personally I think this would be a greater improvement than others you have mentioned in other videos. I thougt it was just youtube that made the video hard to see... because the instrument lights seem faded aswell... anyway, great feature!

Because Wings of Prey is a watered down version of IL-2 Sturmovik. And beyond a few pretty graphics, WoP has absolutely nothing to offer a pilot who is accustomed to--and in fact WANTS--more complexity in their simulations. WoP is a /game/ and IL-2 is a /simulation/.
