I really enjoy 00:56 + of this song. To me it says, "we may be a ragtag group of nomadic militaristic humans on the verge of extinction, but we can still kick your frakkin ass!"
This was one hell of an episode. Season one was the best television I have ever seen. Season one had intrigue, emotions, timing, excellent acting, excellent writing, superb special effects, beautiful (and original) set and costume design. Everything about the show was something we had never seen before, even the Sci-Fi forums were debating whether Battlestar was really sci-fi, the fans didn't know what it was, but it was awesome.
I just love how this music part truly shapes into a serious frenzy of radical heroism and the supernatural drive to win over one's heroes as if 'because we honor the Gods of Kobol, our will and determination is larger than life'. Strengthened by faith, their resolve to survive is unmatched.
