  • Is it weird that this is one of my favorite Johnny Depp movies?!?!?!?! They actors really brought the movie to life and I don't think I would have liked with any other actors and actresses. Great movie this is. I felt so bad for Todd in the end, because he killed his love and then he doesn't even get to be with his daughter either. Poor guy!!! I wanted to be the one to comfort him in this movie, but not the one to die, however. I like living. Kinda partial to it. Great music though. Keep it up.

  • I must have listened to this song a million times, there is SUCH emotion in their voices. LOVE IT

  • LETS KEEP LIVIN ITTTT

  • This part of the movie was so predictable even though in the back of my head i was like DONT THROW HER IN HE WONT DO IT DONT THROW HER and then boom she gets thrown in the fire!

  • this makes me sad :(

  • Lovett was my favorite (besides Todd obviously) until i realized she lied, then i was like throw her in!!! i do kinda feel bad for her a little tho cuz she lied becuz she loves him and didnt want him to see Lucy in the horrible state she was in :'( but still, it was wrong.

  • I have a feeling Lovett poisoned his wife and not the Judge. is that right or am I just walking around blind?

  • @BadgerLova The story's that she poisoned herself, as a suicide attempt. I'm guessing mrs. lovett didn't try too hard to stop her though.

  • @BadgerLova The Wife poisoned herself, the judge raped her.

  • Is it scary that is is my favorite song of the whole movie? I find it very ironic that he yelling lets kepp living it when he throws her in

  • I love Lovette!!! Why did she have to die :P

  • Ohh Mrs. Lovett, you wanted him to Love you but you should have known Psychopaths are Incapable of Love. Ohh the Tragedy D:

  • @torysama :

    "Psychopaths are Incapable of Love."

But he WAS full of Love ... Of Love for his wife, not for that woman who made him to kill his wife ...

  • @jerome96114 Wrong. He knew love then. Love became only a memory to him. He could never Love again. Even if he had known Lucy was alive, he could not Love her the way he did before. He was too corrupted and too insane to even pretend he could Love. No person that has ever commited Murder could be capable of love. It's the Truth. Ask ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dahmer, if you ever meet them in the afterlife.

  • i meant to say 0:45 through 1:16

  • 0:40 - 0:54 is my fave. part

  • I love this piece. It's really beautiful and emotional

  • Fantastic movie

  • And Life is for the ALIVE my dear!!!

    Amazing movie... Amazing

  • REALLY LIVING IT!!!! >:D

  • :35 is my fav part

  • How did she NOT notice he started singing faster and louder angrily?

  • @Xoshxius I like to think it as this, but, she didn't realise it, for she loves him, and so when the idea of him forgiving her came up, sarcastic or not, she got excited.

  • @SunlightData That is true...

  • Love the part when he´s all like "so let´s keep living it, really living it, REALLY LIVING IT!!!!!"

  • No no not lied at all. Favorite part.

  • LOVE IT JUST LOVE IT sad that he acctidently killed is wife though:(

  • When she said "Could that thing have cared for you like me?", I knew she was screwed.

  • since she always calls him mr. t throughout the movie, whenever he pushes her into the fire i expect him to say "i pity the fooh!"

  • When he says "Oh my gooood", I can feel his pain!!!

  • I looooove this movie, this film is so nice!!!

  • no no no no I never lied <3

  • YES I'VE LIED YES I'VE LIED CAUSE I LOE YOUUU!!!!

    and

OH MY GOOOOD! WHAT HAVE I DONE!

are my favourites line. This finale is a masterpiece.

  • this part of the film always makes me cry even though they deserved to die, it just makes me really feel for them.

Oh and Johnny Depp's voice sounds as sexy as ever <33

  • It just breaks my heart when he sang to his wife. "Lucy!" "I've come home, again..."

"Lucy." "Oh my god!" "Lucy..." "What have I done?!" It just broke my heart the first time I saw it and it still does.

  • When he's saying "Lucy..." in the background and "Oh my God"...

    It just...

Breaks my heart, even if it was just a movie..

[Although it was based off a true story]

  • @Chrystalpool It's based off a true story?

  • she screams and burns ....Jonny for shame ....she loved u.... BITCH HAD TO DIE ..... lols yes I am messed up I know I love this movie...just saw a wall done verson of the play

  • 3 people lied to Sweeney and are being cooked in a furnace

  • 1:06 - 2:08 Ahh best part

the "really living it" gives me chills, I love Johnnys voice in this whole musical, but right there, its raw and truly amazing

  • When he says "Oh my god" and "what have i done" i swear i get chills every single time...

  • @PressOn33

I love that part too! His singing is amazing. And the end when he sing "REALLY LIVING IT" before throwing her in the oven.

  • @PressOn33 In think that's what Tim Burton wants :) .

  • is this slowed down?

  • @shadowjaffacake I've never seen the film myself, so this may be the speed it is in that version. Though comparing it to the original musical theater version, most of these are very slowed down, or sped up.

  • That "Oh my god" just pulls at my heartstrings

  • OMG that is some amazing oboe!!! great song/ending to the movie

  • 0:51-0:56 ...chills... every single time

  • Its Called "Really Living It (Reprise)"

  • this is my favorite musical! i feel so sorry for Sweeney Todd though even though Mrs.Lovett seemed so convincing in the beginning.................

  • does anyone know the name of this song??

  • ok, I try to tell myself that Lovett hasn't done anything wrong because she's my favorite character, naturally I want to dfend her but, really, it's sortof common sense Lovett. First don't lie to a cerial killer, second if you do lie make sure all the evidence is gone, not walking around in the very same city, third if and when the ceial killer finds out, run!

  • @iSwampMonster What if you're in love with said serial killer? S, not C. We're talking about people, not Cinnamon Toast Crunch. lol ;)

Got to remember, she was zany too

  • @KindredofLegousa yes, but still, i would've shot Lucy soooooo long ago.

  • @iSwampMonster

    lol..

cereal killer.............. hahah like your cornflakes?

  • @iSwampMonster While we're on the subject of 'cereal killers', did you hear about the guy who drowned in a bowl of muesli? He was swept under by a strong currant LOL

  • @VVoodzy ...

  • @iSwampMonster although Mrs. Lovett does have a point... she never said Lucy "died" she said she poisoned herself and that she's gone but she never said "dead/died" so... techinally lol

  • @LadyAmalthia15 though one could argue she lied by omission. It was quite clear she was trying to deceive him, whether she actually said Lucy was dead would most likely be immaterial to a killer driven by madness. He was tricked, and the technicalities at this point probably don't matter to him ;}

  • @iSwampMonster good point lol

  • @LadyAmalthia15 She did also go on to say 'You've gotta lay this all behind you now. She's gone. Life is for the alive, my dear.' Still, she never actually said 'Lucy is dead', so she didn't really lie, she just didn't tell the whole truth.

  • @iSwampMonster *serial

  • I wonder what he had done if he had killed his daughter, then he found out?

  • I felt bad for Sweeney when he found out he killed his wife, that is really messed up. I would be ticked off too though I don't if I would though the person into a furnace but Mrs. Lovett should have really saw that coming though

  • I could listen to this song all day!!!!!!!!

  • why does toby kill todd

  • @goombamario1 Because he looked to Mrs. Lovett like the mother he never had and Sweeney Todd kills her on top of all the other people, Toby sees them all as 'innocent'. But if you can see at the end of the film after he kills Todd, Toby gets the dark circles around his eyes just like Sweeney, so theres a hint that the legend will continue.

  • @doggielapp

No Sweeney Todd - No legend xD

I really hated Toby, even tho I knew that there was no purpose for Todd to continue living.. Anyway, Johnny Depp ftw!

  • @doggielapp In the musical, where Joanna and Antony live happily ever after, they find the pie room. In it, they find Turpin, the Beadle, Todd, and Lucy all on the floor dead, with Toby's hair completely white from going insane.

  • no no no i never lied funny shyt

  • i love listining to that B&$#@ scream. TAKE THAT!

  • It's funny how Mrs. Lovett is singing really fast. I love this song though, I have an abnormal obsession with this movie and I get weird stares in the hallways of my High School when I randomly start singing random songs from the movie.

  • @BayliLewis Bahhaha me tooo , i'll just randomly break into song when im walking with my friends and usually embarass them :)

  • @xvampire4eternityx Lol, Luckily, I have one friend that'll actually start singing along with me!

  • @BayliLewis Aww , lucky you !! <3

  • Out of all the songs on Sweeney Todd, I personally like this was the best. Both of them singing nearly at the same time gives me shivers. Especially in the beginning. Sweeney Todd is my current favorite movie, and character, ever. I do admit I have an obsession over this movie, lol ^.^

  • When he says "come here my love" is the only part in the entire movie I get scared of him.

  • This song is so sad...

  • He is so deep when he sings Oh my god. You can just feel for him. :)

  • " Can we stil be married?" wat the hell do u think!

  • @Spiderwoman654321 Lmao I know right? XD

  • "Yes, I lied 'cause I love you !!!" :'( ♥♥♥

  • i love this movie ♥ and this song almost

  • this cd and movie is amazing

  • Lucy...

  • YESS!! KILL HER!! SHE MUST BURRN!!!

  • I hate how they didn't include the Ballad in the film

  • The expression "Liar, liar, pants on fire!" totally makes sense to me now...

  • @CoralBR98 Oh but she wasnt wearing pants, they were stockings

  • @CoralBR98 LOL XD

  • @CoralBR98 Looool :)) !

  • This film has just a beautiful ending! they're together at least.. :p

  • He's killed people.

    He got his revange.

    He's killed his wife.

He don't know it-for the first.

He's doing so many horrible things.

    BUT....He is a hero.

  • Yes he is!

  • @SSiso1

I am a hero....you say? I prefer the term anti-hero...I was doing what I did for revenge not for the sake of others....

  • Whats the moral of this song? Dont lie or you will get your ass burned in a furnace XD

  • hahaha yes xD

  • @SwumpTheRump So I guess you could literally have a Mrs.Lovett meat pie after this. With REAL Mrs.Lovett.

  • @TheKOEIwarrior I'd never eat someone that sexy.

  • @SwumpTheRump depends how you define "eating"

  • @TheKOEIwarrior oven, actually.

  • @TheKOEIwarrior No.That the best way to get rid of witches really IS to just push them into a big oven :I

    Silly.

  • This is an amazing movie. I absoultely loved it! This shows what greed and revenge can do to a person's soul and heart. Both Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett fell because of their greed.

On another note, does anyone know where I can get the sheet music for this song?

  • really living IT!!!

  • I Love you Sweeney, i cry ever time i see the movie....:'( even toug its fake...e is still an amazing character and an awesome guy :')

  • @MrsMichaelManiac it based on a true story though

  • This is one of the only films where there is no happy ending... :(

  • The main reason I love this movie is the fact that at the end, you don't know if you should feel sorry for him or to hate him.

  • @soniczdawun Very ,VERY WELL say !

  • i hate that this song isn't on the soundtrack =[ =[ =[

  • I cannot believe she was as foolish as that to dance with that. She knew what Sweeney would do for revenge from example of Judge Turpin, and she thinks that he'll get over a lie that cost his wives life. (technically)

  • @anydreamwilldofan I know, i cried too. i loved Sweeney Todd and Mrs.Lovett together. I wish it didnt end that way, but, it did. D';

  • Love can make people stupid. And desperate.

  • Her getting thrown in the fire was the best part of the movie.

  • @XChrisUnknownX How can this guy possibly have 5 thumbs down?

  • I guess nobody likes my sense of humor.

  • i love this movie! poor mrs. lovett. all she did was love him. that would be so bad if you got thrown in a fire by the one you love.

  • Well she shouldn't have lied... that shows how far you can get with lying.

  • good point lol

  • i seen dis movie like 15 times and im STILL want to watch more :X

    LUVS IT SO MUCH! <3

  • Aww! ! ! Poor Thing Johnny And Helena !

I Feel So Sorry Both Of Them In very Different Ways Like With Sweeney, I Feel Bad Obvs Cause Of His Wife.

And Then I Feel Really Bad For Mrs L Cause She Loves Sweeney But He Will Never Understand..

BEST MOVIE EVER! Have Seen It 6 Times and Have The DVD xD

  • I wish they'd have put this on the soundtrack

  • They have! Just the long version!

  • I saw this movie last night and my favorite part was when Johnny got crazy and was like "REALLY LIVING IT!" I rewound that part over and over cause that was the funniest thing ever.

  • @HaylinPrincess13 I know right? But, I do like Ms. Lovett, she is quite pretty and has a lovely voice. It's just funny how she doesn't notice how close they where getting to the furnace, and Sweeney just yelling "REALLY LIVING IT" just makes someone snap into a fit of laughter. (I do notice you posted that comment 2 years ago, just though I'd share mine XD)

  • SAD MOVIE SAW IT 2 TIMES AND HAVE THE DVD

  • i cried so hard at the end!

  • same its so sad!

  • same here

all she did was love him

    :(

  • I don''t know if the title is Final Song, I just name it like that, but I prefer "Really living it!!"

  • @mlbrenes It's called Final Scene. And THANK YOU for the best quality I've heard of this song. (:

  • @mlbrenes The title is Final Scene

  • its great!!!is the title final song???

  • I really love this part (it still surprises me every time) so I wanna know why this wasn't on the original soundtrack cd that I have. oh poop.

  • Ya I noticed that there's a lot not on there that's in the movie. I didn't really notice it at first because I got it like a month after I saw the movie, but then when the movie was released on DVD and I heard all the rest of the songs, I'm like, ah crap. The only one I noticed at first was this one because I loved it so much!

  • coool

  • REALLY LIVING IT! XD
