The guy on narration/Case sounds like he's reading this for the first time. Not that he's bad exactly, but his intonation carries no indication of inner process or foreshadowing. Like each thing he's reading is the most important thing on the page at that moment. I do the same thing when I'm reading something out loud that I'm unfamiliar with.
For example: "...The color of television! ...Tuned to a dead channel," makes it sound like two thoughts, instead of a single visual description.
Decent, but not an audio book, per se; more a dramatization with an unacceptable amount of edits and inaccuracies when compared with the book. The only way to bring the book to life would be through animation...I stopped listening to the series in the middle of part 3. Just not true enough, and the voice characterizations are waaaay off. All in all, a fair attempt, but far from being up to par.
Thanks for uploading this! Do you know if we can get a hold of a high quality version of Gibson's reading? I know there's a low quality version online...
im so glad they did this but wow the sprawl needs some dark techno music or some ambient downtempo beats to add some coolness to it,but this is great stuff the background voice acting is amazing.

How much of a difference is there between this and the book form of Neuromancer? Besides the obvious audio/visual difference of course.

@Jaaxchan There is more depth to describing what is going on and even technical layouts

Hmm, I thought Armitage's would be less expressive, considering his psychological profile. Anyway, good video, I like.

they nailed molly's voice. I remember in the book talking about her being from the southern end of BAMA.
