Yeah, you could say that. The worst part was the folks that never left the base at all acting like it was a stateside base and giving you crap for being dirty when you came in from a patrol and things like that.

Yeah, that was two years ago, though. Spring offensive-type season was over and we were getting ready to rotate back to the states. By that time, the officers and the NCOs needed to symbolically beat each other up before they really did. Bagram is a pretty safe place, all in all... well, it's gotten a little worse since I left from what I hear.
