  • Hi Wasn't surfing in Jbay, he was in East London - Nahoon Reef

  • I wondering how he survived...kids pretty lucky if you ask me!

  • i like pie

  • Don't worry dude this shark will finish sooner or later in ur plate

  • @TheBlackSwan91 How dumb are you? Sorry to ask, but I am in awe of your stupidity right now. You TRULY think 9/11 was an "accident"? It was a terrorist attack.

But besides that, YES, it could have been avoided. If the US military had taken the intelligence they had received from france and germany seriously, they could have been ready for it. They didnt, so they werent, so it happened.

And yes, you SHOULD stay away from me, because I dont like people with an IQ barely scraping double figures

  • Those sharks must have been going dutch

  • Whoa hes lucky to be alive!

  • i dont think anyone deserves anything..but when it comes to situations like this you wonder wtf was the person thinking this shouldnt come to be a surprise like oh shit look a shark you in its territorie and they rule in the water

  • save this save that, I reckon without controlled kulling (not killing) there will always be an imbalance in nature this includes humans - I vote for less human population which creates less demand for the sharks fish source.

  • Thats not Jbay

  • Wow how can he escape from the shark it's so scary but luckily he's safe at last good luck man

  • a le pauvre

  • YEAH MARK ONE UP FOR THE SHARKS! but thet are still losing...Sharks kill only around 10 people a year while people kill...100000000 of them a YEAR! stupid people

  • @TheFONZfan R U RETA>RDED??? Nobody is killing 10000000 sharks a year, you moron.

  • @evexxxxx No not A million, but last estimate was roughly 460, 000 each year .Often just for their fins. They are sliced off and the animal is pushed back into the sea with no dorsal or pectrol fins.... alive. All to make a bowl of soup for some idiot (usually asian) who thinks it will make his dick bigger or help him live longer

  • @nzer48 You have no fkking clue what you are talking about, you fkking moron.

38 MILLION SHARKS per year are killed, 100 times more than you just "estimated", lol. That is more than 100,000 sharks a day!!!

It`s on the National Geographic website:

    news. nationalgeographic. com/ news/2006/10/061012-shark-fin.html

(remove spaces when you copy/paste the link)

    100.000 sharks / day!!!

  • @evexxxxx You'd be a nasty little prick, aren't you? Mommy take you off her tit too quickly. What... did you google that? Hope you read that figures are not accurate, but guess seeing as you aren't a moron only an angry little geek sitting behind his p.c this makes you more right than anyone else. Dick head

  • @nzer48 Running out of arguments? Always happens to people who discuss things with me, and they go back to name-calling, to convince themselves they are right... I`m used to it, dont worry.

  • THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! • hey im bored

  • 0_0......holy shit! I'm glad that I don't surf.

  • The ocean is not ours', its the sharks'. I mean if your gonna go swimming you have to know that sharks are in there and they could bite you. I'm not saying that you can't swim in the ocean but if you do you have to respect it and all things in it.

  • @TheMaziyar You are a real coward. You hide behind your computer and tell people they have " no logic " when cleary you don't even realize that it was only an animals instinct.

  • @TheEK44 Coward?? Your trying to get me angry and make me look like a fool, sorry man ain't gonna work. I'll tell u one thing though, if u said tht to my face u would regret it....

Anyway you are sitting 'behind your computer' defending sharks, who have plenty of food besides humans. Yes it is instincts but we have the right to defend ourselves. We can easily control shark population and eliminate shark attacks by simply putting up nets. But people like you stop that from happening...

  • @TheMaziyar Why take the risk of putting up nets when they could easily kill another species that may be endangered.

  • @TheEK44 Thats the thing, IT WON'T! Thats just the pathetic excuse the governments use to satisfy the companies who they get all their revenue from. All i ask is to think before u make an absurd comment like that, because if you really did care about sharks you wouldnt be putting up a fight here, you would be protesting against the Japenese who are killing off bothe the shark and whale species...

  • Incredible video..... never seen a Great White in the middle of a wave before.

  • Sharks are a type of fish with a full cartilaginous skeleton and a highly streamlined body. The earliest known sharks date from more than 420 million years ago, before the time of the dinosaurs.

  • That really really really makes me not want to go surfing.

  • You guys obviously dont understand surfing... Where theres waves, surfers will always follow! And that guy was lucky to be hit by two sharks at the same time... one hit his board flinging him away from the other sharks mouth... amazing how the sharks pincer attacked him though!!

  • yer chanceux detre vivant!!!

  • a click of sharks, that's their hood...

  • This kid here, was attacked by a great white shark 2 months after this attack and survived! Maybe he should stay out f the water!

  • actually we do. why dont u stay out their back yard

  • Why the fuck would we kill off all the fucking sharks what the fuck is fucking wrong with you, they were here before us the kid deserved to get bitten you dumbfuck

  • Bad quality video, nice content

  • lol

  • OMG i cant look

  • carefull with ur own jokes young men

  • yeah, it's just hilarious. You obviously don't believe in the thing called karma.

  • dont see what watching my name is earl has to do with stupid people getting eaten?

unless its that you also feel they deserve it for going into the sharks home?

  • w0bbl3r wow, youre a miserable fuck. your life must really suck if sumetin like that makes you happy. fucking gay loser. im sorry you daddy fucked you in the ass.

  • im glad youre so sorry for me, but im still not sorry people get eaten by animals.

    its their own fault.

if i stick my hand in a thresher, i cant then destroy the thresher, r blame the makers of it for my stupidity. its funny if people are stupid.

have you never laughed at a video of someone falling over? or walking into a post?

same thing; someone getting hurt because they are stupid.

the white shark attacking young woman vid is AWESOME.

dont tell me you didnt laugh, cos youre lying if you do

  • i hope you get eaten by a shark u disgusting, reched, sorry son of a mother fucker.

  • im not so stupid as to go where they are and try to piss them off.

if you are that type of person you certainly deserve to get bitten.

its like sticking your hand in a tank ful of piranha and blaming them when you pull out a bloody mess of bones instead of fingers.

  • ... i find your stupidity quite amusing as well :)))

hey, which mental institute are you writing in from?

  • your mothers house

  • you know, i might find that just the slightest bit offensive if i actually LIVED with my mom..... but nope... nothing..... so, do you have another snappy comeback you'd like to share?

  • nah. and i said your mothers house, rather than YOUR house, because i assumed you didnt live with her.

you see, grown ups assume that other grown ups (which youre obviously not) have moved away from their parents homes and have their own lives (inside or outside the internet, that is)

  • like you said, i'm not a "grown-up" (14) i don't even know my mom, so i REALLY could not give a shit ....i assume you're what, 11?12?13?

    .

first you say it's someone's fault they get bitten by a shark, then you write back with a "your mom" style attempted diss... then you tell me i'm immature?? do you even read your comments before you post them? asking you what mental institute you were writing in from, was NOT a joke...really... get help...

  • im 35, if you must know.

i was just giving the "your mom" diss because you started with insults first.

and what is immature about telling the truth? if someone gets bitten/eaten by a shark, then they have no-one to blame but themselves. call it an accident? ALL accidents can be avioded. you dont go dancing on the lip of a volcano, and then complain when you fall in and get burned, do you?

we should stay away from these creatures.

we dont belong in the water. they DO. thats why we get eaten

  • yeah... i never step out of my house for fear of being stung to death by a swarm of bees. If it does happen, it will be all my fault, because i went outside.... *note the sarcasm* seriously, you actually have a better chance of being struck by lightening than a shark attack.... do you have some kind of phobia or paranoia or something?

  • @w0bbl3r ur a pussy ass 35 year old. the water is the best!!!

  • @Sjclark83 Never said anything about water, did I? I love to swim, just not in the ocean, because there are things that dont WANT us there.

We tease and use them for our amusement, then get all concerned when someone gets eaten.

Shark attacks in africa are increasing, because white sharks are used to people bringing food with cages. So when they see people, they think of food now. When the person doesnt have food, the shark has a taste to see how they are. Big injuries follow each time.

  • @w0bbl3r A person gets injured by a drunk driver every thirty seconds, is it the person's fault for getting injured by the drunk driver? Should he avoid driving all together and just stay at home and find a job that's in walking distance?

  • @LtakeOanotherVlookE A drunk driver doesnt MEAN to hit you. Drunk drivers dont live there waiting for other creatures to come past so they can hit them.

We dont belong in the water, out bodies are not designed for it. And to go into areas we know these creatures live is just asking for it. Your drink drive analogy doesnt hold water at all.

  • @w0bbl3r Yeah it does, because sharks don't go out looking for Humans, they go out looking for fish, so just as drunk drivers don't mean to hit other drivers, sharks don't mean to hunt humans. We don't belong up in the air, so why do people go skydiving/paragliding?

  • @LtakeOanotherVlookE But you cant tell a shark its illegal to eat people, can you? You cant compare human behaviour to animal behaviour, especially fish which are just stupid animals who run on instinct

I think what you said about skydiving is bang on the money. We dont have wings, we shouldnt be up there. We dont have gills or fins, so we shouldnt be in the water. We need an atmosphere and oxygen, so we shouldnt be in space. Dont be surprised when people die in these situations, they ask for it

  • @w0bbl3r Everyone knows driving while while intoxicated is illegal, so why do so many people do it? You can tell the public that drunk driving is illegal, but humans are stupid animals that run on selfish impulse, heck, you don't even know the difference between a fish and a shark.

The reason why people do such things is for fun. The risk involved is miniscule. More people get struck by lightning than bitten by sharks.

  • @LtakeOanotherVlookE "humans are stupid animals that run on selfish impulse" Thats exactly why they are stupid enough to go where there are sharks (which ARE fish, dont be so ignorant)

  • @w0bbl3r you said "you cant compare human behaviour to animal behavior, especially fish which are just stupid animals who run on instinct," apparently you just agreed that you can.

  • @LtakeOanotherVlookE But humans do have the intelligence to override those impulses. And humans dont have the instict or impulse to go into dangerous places where they dont belong.

  • @w0bbl3r A shorebreak is not a dangerous place.

  • @LtakeOanotherVlookE Erm, well obviously it is. Many people are hit by sharks in fairly shallow water, and most people who are attacked are surfers. They hunt near the shore for seals swimming out for food. They hit from below, very fast and very hard, taking their prey by surprise.

I know they usually let people go unless they are very hungry, but even an investigatory nibble from a white shark can kill. So why not just stay away?

They are starting to associate people with food now as well

  • @w0bbl3r Sharks associate people as a last resort type of food. Sharks view peole as people view Lima beans. Sharks are curious creatures, they do not know what humans are when they see them, so they investigate. When they see that what they are looking at is not what they want they'll turn around and head off, but many sharks test their subject by taking a nibble. The reason why the sharks didnt devour this person in the water is because sharks don't like boney creatures.

  • @LtakeOanotherVlookE Not associate AS food, but WITH food. Thanks to cage diving we are showing sharks that they can come to us for food if they are hungry and we will provide it. This then makes no difference whether they want to EAT people, but they could get curious, and the only way they can investigate is with their mouth, which they do frequently.

However, if we just left them the fuck alone, they would never hurt people at all. We arent designed for water life.

  • @w0bbl3r I really wish people would leave sharks alone .. . I really do. But honestly nobody can know what sharks associate humans with. There are Millions of sharks in the Ocean its very unlikely that a shark will see a human twice, and if they do it's not like they'll tell the other sharks "hey, guess what, I saw a human today and they fed some food, we should find more of these."

  • what?

  • minkia....

  • i think i saw this on net goe.

  • >>>freaky

    thank god he survived

    divine intervention right there

  • Yeah, you totally make sense. Tired thinking about it? Yer fat ass probably can't even play a single sport. Your idea of a workout is rubbin one out.

  • He deserved it? For what, surfing? How was he supposed to know a fucking shark was near him? That's like saying a kid deserves to get mauled by stray dog without knowing it's a round for skateboarding. And that's a reference to land-locked states.

Your not being cool by saying a kid deserved it. A shark-attack will always hurt, if your bitten or chipped by a tooth of a shark, because their sharp.

Get your fucking facts straight before trying to make yourself look like a jackass.

  • that a boy. u tell those mother fuckers!!

  • i have seen the full video on TV.the great whites inhabit a reef full of food there.the reef is actually creating these waves in this beach which is popular and many surfers pay their visit.there is a sign that warns everybody about the great white sharks in the entrance.yes he deserved it for surfing in waters full of sharks.he also states at the end(in the full video)that he wont stop surfing there.he knew,he got attacked and he still wont quit.

  • @DOLOROSA292 he deserved it for surfing there? ur a fukn spastic nobody DESERVES to be attacked by a shark. I hope ur kids (if u ever hav any) get mauled by a shark, then we'll see if you'll be saying "he deserved it". you ignorant fuck.

  • where's the sound?

  • I saw this video posted elsewhere with the sound and it doesn't make any difference--you can't understand 85% of what the guy says. Talks like he has marbles in his mouth. It's kinda funny, though. Nice kid, good vibe--but even though you know he's speaking English per every 7th or 8th word, you can't make out hardly any of the rest! *lol*

  • dats one lucky cracka

  • man do you think it was that the two sharks collided that he survived? i do

  • Sharkies almost eat kid.

lucky kid, not get eaten by big sharks

    lol.

  • yea your all a buncha faggots probably all living in land locked states and no nothing of the ocean youve all proll only been to the ocean durin vacation you faggotds dont know shit, the kid didnt deserve andything when u surf there are always sharks around its the fricken ocean

  • You better learn how to spell you idiot...

  • the only reason the shark attacked becuase they thought it was a seal thats why hes still alive now

  • He deserved it. Bitch goes in sea and cries because a shark injured him. Don't surf when the shark is near.

  • dude thats like saying you deserve to break your ankles if you broke them in soccer you dumb ass

  • Don't take internet comments too seriously.

  • when you say somebody deserved to be attacked by a shark, its a little different. i wish that was you

  • What is different...? Anyways, you aren't doing any better than me with your comments, what's the deal?

  • There is no noise..

But, I don't think he deserved it..

  • what's up with the hate? he deserved it? for surfing??? wtf?

  • dude sharks are every where and i fell for u man, atleast ur back out if the water and giving it another go!!

    good on ya bro.

you will get placces in life!

  • i never will surf again if that happens by me

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha wat a dick head nao dont get your hand eaten , i watched it and only saw 1 but then l8ter another and im so glad thats good tv

  • GYBEHO is right count your blessings that are from God who is merciful, kind, loving and who loves us all

  • hahahaha sucks for him!

  • i seen this on tv b4

  • this dude is so stupid , suerf with sharsk , what a idiot ! lol

  • min80, u are a stupid idiot. the oceans are full of sharks so if u surf, u do it with sharks. dumb ass

  • why dont u go get in the water u nerd !

get a life , that kid has a heart of gold~!!!

  • Dude I think that Nahoon Reef.

    not J-Bay

  • 1 shark save him :O

  • very lucky kid,its was 2 big shark,he was close to his supretion.

  • deserves it

  • Enjoy your anger and hate. That is all you will ever know because it is all you can think of. Learn how to live life. You will enjoy it more, and stop blaming other people for the shit. This life we live is not fair, some have it better others. Be sure there are millions of people around the world that have have it worse than you will ever have. What do you think they deserve. Wake up, and count your blessings you fool.

  • That shark thought it's a seal, cause it's very typical for seals to swim on the waves like that.

  • i hate when surfer bro dudeerinos use gay words like barney and donkey....sigh, wheres the love

  • False alarm...took a while but, figure they were other surfers.

  • Was it just me or did anyone else see about 4 sharks in that video. Only two attacked but look below the wave and to the left and right before it broke...Possibly 5 :-S

  • there was twoooo, both racing to him.

  • I dont know if this has already been addressed but thats not j-bay, its nahoon reef. Dont post things you know nothing about, it makes you look stupid. Keep surfing c street where you belong you barney.

  • I'd say he's pretty damn lucky! He should've played the lottery that day!

  • eartant

    hahahahahha

  • no sound but cool

  • 2 'great whites' attack him and he gets a hand injury....

  • It's happened before and it will happen again. What's so hard to believe?

  • theres 2 sharks.1 on the right, 1 on the left.

  • well done

  • theres no sound

  • at 0:12 there's something to the left of the surfer...

  • Thank God we don't have these kinda animals in my country.

  • 2 sharks wow :/

if your in Africa they swim right by you and leave you alone but if you splash they bump you giving you 10 seconds i learnt that myself :S

  • vayyy odunn mal zor kurtulmuş..

  • dis was at nahoon reef in East London, South Africa...scary dis where i surf!

  • where was the attack

  • where is the sound? Maybe the shark was deaf!

  • wasn't it in east london...

  • sharks will attack anything, if they get to curious.. and if theyre hungry and if theyre disturbed >P

  • wrong

  • I was diving once and a shark swam right past me. I thought I was gonna die but he didn't even seem to notice me. Still shit my pants, though.

  • you were wearing pants in the water?

  • I needed something to shit in on the off chance I ran into a shark.

  • The reason why he got attackted is, that a shark takes a little bite of you, and if the shark tastes that you dont have enough fat on your body, it will leave you alone..

  • he so dropped in on them.. thats what got them so pissed off

  • I watched this before o.o..

He had to get 30 stitches on his right hand and he had to get 2 of his fingers implanted xD

  • Fuckin' WHAM! HAHAHA! Too bad, kid.

Ah well, it'll most likely never happen to anyone you know anyway (unless they live in South Africa, California or South Australia and enjoy surfing)...

  • no volume?

  • yea where is it

  • He probably nicked the sharks wave an pissed him off.

  • lolz probably true

  • This proofs there is danger everywhere in the world :)

  • where the fuck is the sound

  • that was cool but i am not going to the ocean ever EVER AGEN ! ! !

  • sharks attack surfers because they mistake the surfboard and the sufer as a seal

  • Yeh riiight! and i bet we taste like seals too.

From the first hint of blood they would know we aint seals, maybe thats why they stoped attacking the kid.

  • true, that is hy tiger sharks are more dangerous than white sharks. cause a white shark will just tast us, and stop attacking after that. a tiger shark always eat their prey.

  • In most cases, Great Whites will circle for a while, then swim away. Alot of times Tiger Sharks don't. They return continuously to the scene of the attack. Tiger Sharks are alittle more relentless than Great White Sharks.

  • Learned in biology lab at UPenn: sharks taste via their skin. A shark "bumps" on the first pass in order to get a taste. The second pass is to eat. I have heard that sharks don't finish because of the toxins in most westerners. I remember a comment from Japanese soldiers about how dead American soldiers stunk a lot, but the Japanese bodies did not smell as bad.

I think diet has something to do with the sharks not wanting to eat people.

  • A shark bumped me once!!! I swam out of the water like the DICKENS!!!!!!!!

  • so basically fat bastards = no more burger kings for him and healthy = the shark will leave you the fuck alone!

  • Compared to rich blubbery mammals, we're just too boney.

  • FUCK SURFING lol i don't want to go to the beach ever again

  • thats pretty scary hah i swam with a shark and kept bodyboarding while they where in there but it looks like it hurt and theres 2 so thats worse

  • They should use discarded meat to feed sharks out away from where people swim, surf,..etc so it doesn't go to waste and they wouldn't come so close to shore and resort to humans.

  • they would resort to humans feeding them even more if we actually fed them, just gotta keep the nets around in the most public places and hope for the best

  • Never going in the ocean again...

  • me neither

  • 2 sharks wow

  • oh my...

  • no sound O_o

  • good thing the kid is still alive...hahhaha

  • scary, but no sound

  • Sorry, most people are English download a translator!!
