@bartelvis I don't agree with her being the first one who truly had his entire heart...I think his relationship with Andie was much stronger and better than his relationship with Joey. When he was with Andie, he felt good about himself, and she really helped him change himself around. The way his and Andie's relationship played out, he really did love her more than he ever would or could love Joey. The writers just had him say otherwise to further their own written plots.

DJ fans should take note of the bit where she explains why she wants to sleep with Pacey. She lists everything Pacey has done for her. Could Dawson have done a single thing in that list? I think not. Which is why these two were meant to be.

Pacey was not ready for this. You can tell because of all the fallout that happened shortly afterwards. You can see it in this scene - he looks like he's about to puke the entire time, and he kinda tries to talk her out of it. But at the end, he thinks with his d*ck.

I love P/J, I just wish they had waited a little longer to take this step. IMO it's better to wait until 18 or older. I also don't like the way he was subtly pressuring her into it in the episodes before this one.

@Crazygurl1211 I'm pretty sure he was ready for it - he was only surprised, and reluctant to believe it was really happening. He didn't feel worthy of her love ... and when she was choosing to bestow HIM with her ultimate gift, he was moved beyond words.  He knew she was a virgin and the enormity of the moment for her, as well as them as a couple. The fallout happened because of Joey ... and her hesitation to be up front about how intimate she and Pacey had become. He started to have doubts.

This is probably one of the most realistic portrayal's of a couple's first time together, it shows all the emeotions and fears that come with taking that step. It's so beautiful! I love how it all starts with him brushing her hair too that's so sweet. Then watching her take control and telling him just why she loves him so much!

whoever wrote this scene is a genius! it is so beautifully written and played out by the actors. I wish my "first time" was like that. This is probably 1 of the best love scenes on TV b/c u can just feel the sincerity and love between these 2 people. Katie & Josh have amazing chemistry 2gether. So many other characters in teen dramas nowadays when they first "lose it", it's not as romantic, simple & pure anymore. & I'm speaking as some1 who watches a lot of those types of shows.
