I do not endorse the use of steroids in any way, but I find it funny that so many people wanted the WWF to test for drugs, even though they are not a professional sport, but nobody wants musicians or actors to be tested for drugs.

Essentially they actors/stuntment, but, unlike their actor and musician counterparts, they are (from what they claim) following a very strict drug policy. Why do critics call for these guys to be tested for performance enhancing drugs and other illegal substances? Nobody cares if some rock star was on some sort of drugs when he wrote a great album.

Steroids were legal until the early 90's, no sense in demonizing someone when they did nothing wrong. There is a little something in the constitution that prevents "ex post facto laws" ie punishing somebody for doing something that wasn't a crime when they did it. Using them before the ban is fine, afterwards is when you open yourself up to criminal prosecution
