Prog House Tutorial Day 2: Dirty Bass

at 5:40 when I hit the keys, I only get sound out of channel 3 ... not channel 1 2 and 3 like in the video... I checked, double, and triple checked that all wires in the back are run correctly and still nothing. Ive been following step for step since vid one. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Please help? everytime i record with my Thor after following the instructions, the playback is not the same as it is when i am recording it? It just mono and high pitched one note play back, but when i record it is heavy sustained and perfect..please help!! my hardware is AKAI professional MPK mini..:( thank you

For some reason (no pun intended) mine doesn't sound quite the same as yours, even though I'm following along step-by-step doing the exact same stuff. Yours has a breathy/airy quality to it, whereas mine sounds more like an in-your-face midrangey dubstep-style bass. I've tried doing it 3 times now and can't figure out where I'm going wrong. Any ideas?

how come when i add the equalizer and wire it up the equalizer doesn't do anything i cant hear anything change?

I can't comprehend how doubling the exact same sound and panning them left and right would produce a stereo sound. Technically mono is the same through both speakers and that's what you're doing with the second and third thor.

But somehow it works.. <-- You're awesome.

You do know that you can change so the devices are created initialized? So you don't have to initialize every time you create a new device. I'ts a setting in Preferences (load default sound in devices) .

You probably know that already but.... anyway. Great tutorial!

@sdgsdgsdgish Yea, people have told him. His reasoning is that, if he does that, then all the n00bs will be all "OMG HOW DID U MAKE IT START LIKE THAT??" So he'd rather take the 2 seconds to initialize it instead.
