thank you soooo much! ive been searching and searching for a horizontal iso video and you broke it down perfectly, I can finally wrap my brain around it now :)
CIRCLE THEORY!!!! yes FINALLY something mathematic to explain these movements. Thank you!!! I think in math and physics, but the illusion of this motion has fooled me. Until you came up with this explanation. Thank you!!
this was a great tutorial, i am suddenly able to do things with my hoop that i never could have fathomed before (well at least i try to!). thanks for this, and i hope you will make more tutorials about poi moves you can do with a hoop. do you ever use minis?
Thanks for such a well-instructed tutorial--I'm on the brink of getting it, finally. Except I seem to be missing that neat optical illusion effect that's happening when you are doing it.
Bravo!!! Great to see someone break down these moves into understandable instructions. Thanks for sharing...i'm off to play now and I was going to bed :-) btw I love your presentation.
This is really cool and I think your instructions are very clear. I am one of those people who learns by mirroring, though, so I am confusing myself thoroughly! Do you have a video of this move broken down where your back is to the camera/you are facing a mirror? I covet this skill and want to perfect it!
I have looked and looked for these types of moves ever since I saw isopops or w/e they call it with the hoop and know one knew what it was or what I was talking about. With that said ~ thank u for making a tutortial & keep them coming!!
If you really want to see some great applications of this concept, look up some videos from Rainbow Michael or Sean Stogner--they make what I'm doing here look like a kid on their first day of school.
I SHOULD be able to do a Lot of Things... and your tutorial is definitely going to help me along the way. (I've already mastered the 'throw the hoop' bit. Ha!)
If you could, please consider slowing down the movements & patterns at the end. Thanks
HA! "The response has been rather...deafening."
